Guest Reviews
- Tom (10/5): - It was our first homestay in Raja Ampat, and after staying in severals, is definitly the best we've been.
Talib/ Abdul and all his family are just amazing guys. Always here for you, they also try their best to speak english, they're so friendly and will try to organise the best expedition that you expect. The island is so peaceful and beautiful.
The food is delicious and good quantity, they're punctual and here if you have any question.
We will definitly come back here and recommend people to come in that little paradise
Tri makasih Talib and all your team, take care ! Nothing
- Supaluk (1/5): Bad - Food was not that bad I booked an air-conditioned room, and the photos showed a new room. However, when I arrived, I was given an old room with an air conditioner that didn’t work. Electricity was only available from 6 PM to 6 AM, which meant I could only use Wi-Fi in the evening. During the day, there was no mobile signal at all, so I couldn’t contact anyone outside. The staff at the homestay didn’t speak English at all, except for one person, but they were out diving with guests elsewhere. The owner was not there too, talk with him via whatsapp. Moreover, the room was very dirty, the bedsheets smelled like sweat, as if someone had slept on them before and they hadn’t been washed.
The one-day trip was also terrible. I paid 3 million IDR but was only taken to 3 places, whereas other tours take guests to 6-7 places, starting at 8 AM and returning at 5 PM. However, this tour started at 10 AM because it rained in the morning, but we were already back by 2 PM. When I asked for good snorkeling spots, they took me to places with nothing to see—just dead coral. Worst of all, the guide couldn’t speak English at all.
I feel like I wasted both my time and money. It was absolutely not worth the 9-hour ferry ride.
