- Klára (1/5): STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! multiple booking profiles and fake reviews - the moment i left everything was wrong here. mold and dirt everywhere, uncomfortable beds, mosquito nets with holes, bad location, extremely disgusting kitchen, weird water in the shower and unpleasant staff. we asked to stay only one night after the disaster we saw and they did not even apologise, even stole our treats for the dogs which they took terrible care of. even locals with no extra money live in better conditions than this place provided. never again and stay away from places with multiple booking profiles and reviews from they local friends as well.
- Martin (4/5): Disappointing - The host was keen to communicate and very helpful and kind, even though he had trouble speaking due to an accident. He brought us dinner, was very sweet and set up two hammocks in the garden. The room was quite grim and neglected. The bathroom was not clean and the water from the tap brown. The location is quite inconvenient, being very far from the beach. It is, however, quiet. There were cockroaches in our room.
- Daniel (8/5): Peaceful space - There was a mistake with the price and we got the room for very cheap. The owner honoured the booking and our stay next to the river was quite pleasant. The water from the tap was brackish and there were a lot of mosquitos floating around.

- Martyna (2/5): The worst experience in Sri Lanka - - location close to the beach but in a quiet place - cheap When we arrived the room was very dirty, there was a dirt in our bed. Bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. The bathroom had mold, we saw a cockroach there and the ceiling was falling apart and water was leaking from it. The water in shower and sink was disgusting: salty, smelly and yellowish color. There weren’t a lot of things they promised such as: sauna, toiletries, bathrobes, slipper, tea and coffee station in the room. The included breakfast was not good, we got cold rice noodles and cold dhal also they kept messing with our drinks (coffe, tea) orders.
- Clément (10/5): Incredible, soothing stay - The homestay has a super pretty setting, and the staff were ultra welcoming and friendly. It's secluded enough not to suffer the constraints of arugam and at the same time it's close enough to the city center and convenient. Some rooms don't have mosquito nets. And there are lots of mosquitoes (the only drawback).
