Martie (10/5): - I loved the location, the beautiful green surroundings and birds, Jeff's welcome and non-intrusive help, the log fire. It's a place you can really relax and unwind. Happy with everything.

Pearson (8/5): - I liked the welcome with the fire. And the surroundings. There was no free WiFi. So I felt very disconnected.
Marie (4/5): - The woodland The accommodation smelt, dirty in places, bed linen smelt unwashed ( body odour). The double bed needs replacing as it moved when you rolled, you could also feel all the springs in the mattress. There was only one curtain panel on the bedroom window, so it didn't fit when closed and it was dirty. The large rug in lounge had stains all over it, looks like dog pee which could be the awful smell. Old wiring and overload of electrical wiring inside and out. The washing machine was also connected to the cooker switch. The property was a Fire hazard with one exit which led onto the wooden decking. We left our holiday early because of the property. Update...since writing this review the owner has contacted me on WhatsApp as he wasn't happy with my negative review. Everything I wrote about the property was the truth and as I said we didn't stay the whole time booked. Why would we leave if the place was ideal that would just be a waste of money. The smell and bed linen was the worse part for us, otherwise the other problems we would of put up with. Nothing is perfect but you do expect cleanliness.
