• Conrad (10/5): - Amazing setting and a great host! Magalie was very welcoming from the moment we arrived! Fresh fruit and chocolates were an unexpected but nice a nice little treat! The yurt was an incredible experience and highly recommended it to everyone who hasn't had the experience yet! A perfect place to unwind and de-stress from everyday life! From sitting in the spa bath listening to the beautiful tui to a cozy night in watching a movie this place had it all. Would definitely stay again! The stay seemed to go too fast!

• Leeanne (10/5): Recharge and reconnect - So quiet, all you hear is the birds and cicadas. Super comfortable bed and everything you need. The overflow on the spa bath doesn't allow you to fill it up high.

The little things make such a difference. The bed was lovely and comfortable, everything was easily accessible and the outdoor bath was so lovely nestled amongst the natives 🙂
• Kennedy (10/5): Rel - Easy to arrange. Host is very welcoming and friendly. Yurt is beautifully set-up and includes all amenities. Spa was great! Only 10 mins from town. Also appreciated the chocolates 😊 No feedback.

• Natasha (10/5): Lovely retreat for R&R - Beautiful bush setting, comfy bed, all amenities including paper towels, cling wrap, tinfoil. Nice and clean. Lovely host who greeted us then left us to it. The only two things that weren't provided but would be good to have - instructions/receptacle for recycling and a box of disposable gloves for washing dishes and cleaning the BBQ.
• Jacinta (10/5): Such a magical stay. The beautiful hosts were extremely accomodating and so helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommen - The yurt we stayed in was absolutely amazing. The spa was a lovely addition as was the outdoor bbq. Everything was clean and left immaculate for our stay. I loved the lights above the yurt that were similar to stars in the night. Felt like such a surreal experience. I also loved the finer details including the selection of games and activities that were provided for us. Really beautiful stay and even better with the beautiful view of the trees and nature. Everything was up to par. We loved everything.

The bed was so comfy & with the sound of the rain on the yurt, we had the best sleep! We would definitely recommend this to others.

Host was welcoming, charming - and keen to make our stay as enjoyable as it could be. Open plan nature of yurt means that bathroom privacy is a wee bit compromised - but it is a yurt!

Furthermore, Magalie was really nice and prone to help! I would come back again with pleasure. Nothing to declare, everything checked the box!

• Luke (9/5): Superb - Beautiful accomodation! Spacious and cosy yurt located in secluded Nikau forest. Great facilities with cute outdoor spa. Very welcoming hosts. Only minutes from raglan town by car but didn’t feel like that once back at the yurt. Look forward to visiting again for a relaxing weekend away from the big city.

We firmly believe that all couples should undertake this trip, our hectic work schedules have led us to neglect our personal lives. This establishment is excellent to unwind. The standout features were the comfortable bed & jacuzzi situated in the midst of the forest. Highly recommended.

• Temoa (10/5): A Serene Escape Near Raglan: Our Yurt Adventure. - To celebrate my husband’s birthday, we planned a three-night getaway, searching for a tranquil and peaceful retreat not far from Raglan. We’ve never stayed in a yurt before, so the anticipation of a new experience added to the excitement. As we approached our destination, the scenery took our breath away—rolling landscapes stretched before us and beautiful waterways tucking in and out, simply stunning. From the moment we arrived, our hosts greeted us warmly, and it was clear this was going to be a special weekend. When we stepped inside the yurt, I was amazed. The space was much larger than I expected, and everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort. While every detail exceeded our expectations, a couple of moments stood out that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. The Symphony of Nature: Spending the day surrounded by birds singing was pure bliss. Whether it was soaking in the spa bath, losing myself in a good book, or just sitting quietly, the peacefulness of the surroundings was magical. 2. A Taste of Freshly Caught Delights: Our hosts went fishing during our stay and generously shared their catch. We were treated to freshly smoked Kahawai, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to our experience. If you’re looking for a serene retreat and a unique experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this spot. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in nature.

• Johnston (10/5): Amazing getaway! - First time staying in a yurt and it did not disappoint! Amazing little getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, nestled in a bush setting with everything you need including an outdoor spa which was an amazing little touch. Everything you need is provided, hosts are absolutely amazing we were lucky enough to arrive on a day where the hosts had been out fishing and they kindly gifted us fresh fish to cook on the BBQ as well as some freshly smoked fish absolutely Devine! Highly recommend.

• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - It rained alot during our stay but we were so greatful it did because it meant staying indoors all weekend. and the sound of the rain on the Yurt was so comforting and relaxing, we couldnt hear the TV so we played all the awesome board games provided. Amazing hosts who always messaged to see if we were ok. loved cooking on the BBQ outside however it rained and I just managed to get all the cooking finished before I got wet. Very clean and cosy. The bed was so comfy. Thankyou for sharing your peice of paradise with us

Positioned in the trees meant it was tranquil and surrounded by bird noise. Service was above and beyond. Nothing to dislike.
