I found water and some drinks in refrigerator and coffee and I felt welcome. My teenage daughters were very excited about the apartment, they loved it. What I really didn’t appreciate was being asked to pay the city tax in cash. Since I don’t carry cash, it became very stressful and time-consuming to find a solution. Given that I only stayed one afternoon in Bari, it felt overwhelming to spend so much effort just to sort this out

• romercado (10/5): - Super amable el dueño, en todo momento estuvo pendiente de darnos indicaciones. El depto estaba super limpio y ordenado, es un monoambiente tipo loft con todo lo necesario y remodelado a nuevo. ⁹ El edificio esta en malas condiciones, el acceso es por escalera a un segundo piso, la puerta de la calle que abierta y nos parecio un poco alejado del centro por el precio que pagamos. En la parte de arriba donde esta la cama doble hay poca distancia al techo y una persona alta debe ingresar un poco agachado.

Mirko reageert vlo en vriendelijk en vroege check out is ook mogelijk. Binnen kwartiertje loop je naar het centrum en dichtbij het appartement zijn ook leuke restaurantjes. -

Du café, du lait, jus d'oranges et quelques snacks a disposition Deco sympathique. A 15 minutes à pieds du centre historique. Propriétaire a l'écoute. Idéal pour 2 mais pour 4 avec enfants ça passe aussi L'immeuble n'est pas le plus beau de la ville, mais une fois dans l'appartement tout va bien.

• Cristina (8/5): It was a pleasant stay overall, we only had two nights there and spent most of the time exploring Bari. - The apartament is best suited for maximum three people. It has pretty much everything you need. It is small, but i should imagine nobody goes on vacation to stay inside. The communication with the owner was prompt, he was very clear and helpful with the indications. It is located at the second floor, the stairs are a bit narrow. This was not a problem for us, but tourists should be aware of that. The apartament was clean, but not spotless (i found hair in the toilet, it is a problem for me, may very well not be for other people). The apartament is in a very old building, it looks scary. I do understand this is not in the owners control, but you have to be aware of this.

• Doris (10/5): A hidden gem - The place was amazingly organized and perfect for a couple! Differently from the photos, I think it was way much more spacious and cozy. The host was available all the time to help with any inquiry and with great (food) recommendations. The location was great (close to everything within walking distance). We highly recommend Palazzo Paterno if you'll be around Bari for a few days of shopping and delicious pugliese food! ☺️
• Nikola (10/5): You will not regret if you choose Mirko's apartment ! - No matter that we landed so later, the host Mirko was always available for us. Instructions were clear, and communication with him was 10 out of 10! I recommended him and his hospitality is beyond my expectations. He left us free coffee, breakfast, water, and traditional Italian snacks. Mirko was also so kind to give us recommendations for places and restaurants that we have to visit, even checking which bus and train we can catch in favor! Best wishes to him and his family from your new Bulgarian friends!
• Raluca (10/5): Exceptional - the host, Mirko, was extremely nice and helpful. we had a very good communication; he was very responsive, and he helped us with all that we asked. we received free croissants, Nutella, jam, coffee pods that were all very good the apartment was as expected, clean, comfortable and with all amenities we needed i was particularly pleased with the mattress and pillows quality, which are usually uncomfortable in other places. here i slept like i was home. we didnt like the building and the overall look of the nearing streets/neighborhood. the walk google maps suggested from the train station to the apartment was through some not so nice streets. once you go closer to the old city, it becomes more and more nicer, with luxury stores, wide streets and beautiful buildings. if you're nearer to the train station or adjacent area, not so nice. be aware that the building looks old and degraded. nothing the owner of the apartment can do about it, but initially it was quite shocking to us, because it looked a bit scarry. we got used to it very quickly and felt safe.

• Paweł (10/5): Experience Bari with comfortable housing near the bay - At foremost, the host. So kind and helpful human being. Not only was he up to our requests, but also provided base food, coffee and water. After long exhausting trip, that was true relief. We stayed during the hot summer and without air conditioning, that would be challenging to have a proper sleep, but that housing has it working perfectly. You can rest after long day of sightseeing and cool down your body. Couldn’t have recommended it more!

• Georgios (8/5): Very good - The apartment has everything you need to stay more than a few days. It was clean and quiet at night. So, no cold water because the pipes are on the external side of the building and the weather was hot, that's how the owner explained it to me. I didn't really understand the explanation, since back home we also have the pipes on the external side of the building and we still have cold water, so yeah... Also, next to the bed there are a few glass bricks, so any light comes through it means that it wakes you up the moment the sun hits them, which is pretty early. I trully don't understand the thought behind of this...

• Maya (10/5): Exceptional - Very smooth stay. The host was very responsive and had no trouble with late check-in. The apartment was spotless. Excellent noise insulation, charming urban view, and a great location. The kitchen area had coffee and tee and snacks. I had read in the comments that the ceiling above the bed was low - it was higher than I expected. I am above 170cm, and it took some getting used to, to remember you can't walk straight in the bed area. But I can't say it affected my stay. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

• Vilma (10/5): Great apartment, that we will want to return to. Can definitely recommend this place to anyone! - The apartment was very clean and modern. In the apartment there was even snacks, food water and coffee, that was all free. We stayed there for a week, in the middle of the week the cleaning staff came in and changed the towels as well as cleaned the whole apartment. The location was great, it was really quiet and calm. The centre is close as well as the train ans bus station. There are many supermarkets and bakeries around the apartment. Very friendly and helpful owner, who speaks english very good. He helped us throughout the trip, always made sure that everything is great. Because we traveled a lot, he helped us to find the best way to travel to another city and witch transport to use (bus or train). We even asked for recommendations where to eat true Italian food, he sent us a whole list and that helped us a lot. The pictures of the apartment online are the same as the apartment in true life.

The host Mirko was very nice and friendly and he left a lot of breakfast food and coffee, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is close to the city centre and to the train station which was comfortable for us as we visited many beautiful places outside Bari. When we come back we will definitely chose the same apartment.

• Mpakis (9/5): Cozy loft near old town - Renovated cozy loft perfect for a weekend getaway in Bari. Everything is new, clean and functional. Easy check-in and communication with the host. Location is good, easily accesible by bus from the airport and within walking distance to the train station, old town and seaside. Just be careful not to hit your head with the roof in the loft :P

We had a very good communication with the owner and he answered any question. We had everything we needed in the house. Definitely recommend. P.S. extremely comfortable bed and pillows.
