- Alan (10/5): Fabtastics place, a little outside the city centre but the staff, nearby eateries and beaches meant we didn’t care! - A fantastic find. A little way out of the centre of Bridgetown, but with great beaches at the end of the road and lots of eateries within walking distance. When we booked we didn’t realise it was a hospitality training college, but they must be good at training as all the staff we encountered were great. There was very little to fault. Perhaps the breakfast choices could have been a little more extensive, but the trainee staff were friendly and overall there was nothing to complain about.

- Thomas (10/5): Couldn't be happier with everything. - The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We checked in and had a welcome drink. The room was a nice size with air conditioning. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, there was a similar selection each day but they mixed it up a bit with the hot food. It really set us up for the day. There was an ice machine for the guests to use and this broke after day 2 but the staff came around the rooms with ice for us towards the end of each day which was a nice touch. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with some nice birds and even the free roaming chickens. We would sometimes hear the rooster in the morning but we enjoyed this. Some days he was close to the room and others he wasn't. The walk to Hortons beach and Blakey's bar was only 5 minutes, and a short 'reggae' bus ride to get to Carlisle bay or St Lawrence gap We did walk to both some days and stopped on the way to Carlisle bay to feed the local wild monkeys. in general, everyone we met couldn't be more helpful. Maybe a fridge in the room for drinks would be even nicer.
- YJ (8/5): Small hotel with attdntive staff. Quiet location. We would recommend to our friends. - Small hotel run as money-maker for the hospitality school. Staff is very attentive & we would recommend this hotel to any of our friends.
- Srdjan (10/5): Perfect place to stay while in Barbados - Location, breakfast and most of all the staff were amazing. They did their best to make us enjoy our honeymoon trip even more. Everything related to this hotel is nice and positive. Everything was perfect.
- Ewa (10/5): Interesting island, nice people, good fish - Friendly helpfully service Everything was excellent

- Patricia (8/5): We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!! - The location was excellent.
The breakfast was good. We stayed for a week, so for us there could be some more variety. More choice for bread spread.
We were from Suriname and we are accustomed to eat bread for breakfast

- Raymond Murray (8/5): Did everything I expected of it - Breakfast was very good and the location was just out of the town centre.
Staff very good and the property very clean. maybe location, but that is not a reason of not liking this very nice hotel
- Richard (10/5): - Location close to restaurants and some basic shopping . Staff were all very friendly and very good So pricey. Included breakfast was appreciated but only so-so as to qualify and selections.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Nolan (10/5): Excellent hotel choice in Bridgetown! - Loved everything about this property. It was located perfectly in town just a 5 minute walk from the Richard Haynes boardwalk. The staff were very kind and welcoming — shoutout to John in particular for being super kind and even offering me a complimentary rum punch drink upon checking in! My room was great, spacious, and had everything I needed for a great stay. My outdoor room terrace was lovely. The outdoor public pool in the middle of the property was nice and breakfast offered in the morning was delicious. The price was pretty good too compared to other properties in the area. Really nothing I can say that I didn’t like about it. I loved everything!
- EDITH (9/5): Very good - Location was very good Buffet could have had little more variety. Service a little slow

- Barbara (8/5): A very pleasant island stay - The property was very clean, the pool area comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is the training property for the local community college and the students were clearly good students. The service was excellent in the restaurant at breakfast (the only meal we ate at the property). We loved the large balcony overlooking the pool area. I didn’t realize that it is pretty far and an expensive cab ride from the airport. It is, however, closer to the cruise port. My restaurant serves an expensive, fancy prix-fixe limited dinner menu that didn’t fit well with the mood of the hotel and Bridgetown in general. It felt like it was trying to be something that it’s not. I would have appreciated a more basic, burger and fries kind of restaurant. The property is about a 10 minute walk from a local burger and pizza place as well as a KFC.

- Jack (10/5): Brilliant - Exceptional service, the staff were very friendly and the room and facilities were great. The institute is doing a great job at training students at the hotel, and the students are doing a great job too - we had some brilliant food!
Overall, great value and quality. N/A
- Jane (8/5): Relaxing stay - Nice breakfast, lovely room with balcony overlooking the front. Coffee machine. Pool and surroundings very nice. No kettle or milk. Had to ask for extra coffee to be made. Unable to negotiate a price to extend room after check out, was flatly refused.
- Gilles (9/5): -
- jozef (8/5): Dobra poloha - Dobra poloha, velke izby Ranajky mali velmi slaby vyber
- Deborah (9/5): Good spot and quiet location. Helpful from of house staff - Close to services and the shore. Tired looking and somewhat dated. Pool could have used more attention.
- Rosalind (10/5): -
- Peter (8/5): We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer - Tranquil, attentive staff. Good facilities
- Mark (9/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Very good hotel, friendly staff, nice room. Nothing to unlike. - Close to Beach
- Lynn (7/5): Lovely semi-secluded hotel near beach. - Gounds, staff, location, short walk to beach Meals were not good. Booked in part because of culinary program but turned out students still on vacation. Food was under seasoned and greasy. Service was polite buy VERY slow. Wait staff were accommodating but not experienced.
- Ann (10/5): Highly recommend - We really loved this hotel- unpretentious but with close attention paid to every detail. All the staff were courteous and helpful. All areas of the hotel were clean and tidy. We didnt want to leave!
- John (9/5): -
- Jean-Louis (9/5): The hotel and its staff were a very pleasant surprise - Breakfast was excellent. The facilities were very nice, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Roger (10/5): -
- robin (7/5): Good rooms, good location, reasonable value - Comfortable room which was well serviced.
Some very good staff. Breakfast is basic and repetitive and service often exceedingly slow. Cereals are basically unhealthy and for a vegetarian there is little choice or variety in the cooked breakfast. Some excellent young staff but overall set up is far from ideal… with a little reflection and planning much could be better. I generally have time for lunch and breakfast is an important meal for me.
My flights depart at 2015 and I would like some option for a late check out or minimum to take a showers before leaving. Inflexible eve when hotel is not fully booked.
- Tavare (9/5): -
- Hodd (6/5): You need to understand this is a hospitality training facility - Limited catering options. Morning specific
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Marguerite (8/5): Great 4 day stay that allowed us to get the feel for Barbados - It is in a great position, close to the beach and lots of great restaurants and bars. Was very clean and the shower was great. They have a hospitality school there and have a welcome cocktail party on Thursday’s. Lovely to meet the people who run the school and the students. The bed was a bit hard for us and they use the leaf blower before 7 in the morning which is a bit rough when on holidays.
- Dru (10/5): -
- veronique (10/5): It s was great - Everything Nothing
- Joanne (9/5): Such a cute little hotel to stay at. No complaints at all. Short walk to the beach and bars. 20 minutes in a cab to Oist - Simple, relaxed and lovely reception staff Nothing!
- Aleksy (10/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): - Lovely quiet setting, safe and perfect for my overnight stay. The staff were wonderful. Nothing
- Heinke (9/5): Very pleasant stay. Excellent staff. Nice restaurant (training facility for culinary school) - Beautiful property close to the beach
- Victor (8/5): - Hotel was clean reasonably well located with what staff we did see were professional and courteous.
The room was big enough good a/c and reasonable WiFi. The pool area was cosy and the overall feel of the place was a good comfortable hotel.
The breakfast was reasonable and plentiful even with a limited selection. After a certain time (2100 i think) because it's a training hotel all restaurant and bar staff/students disappear removing any chance of a quick cocktail or snack after a long day.
- Nicola (8/5): Excellent value, very comfortable - Breakfast was of limited choice, but fine if a plain cooked breakfast is what you want. More choice at breakfast - natural yogurt, nuts, more fruit would have been nice
- Terry (10/5): Great value - lovely management- lovely staff- lovely students - We loved it. It’s our third year in this hotel Everything was great
- Patricia (9/5): -
- John (9/5): Very comfortable and excellent value hotel. - Good choice of hot and cold food. Very good value. Complimentary rum punch on arrival was a nice touch. No bottled water in the room. No hairdryer in the room however, one was available at reception.
- ROBERT (10/5): It was perfectly perfect! - We liked everything about this little jewel. Spic and span clean, friendly and welcoming, can’t do enough for you, close to the boardwalk and many restaurants! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay exceptional. See you again!
- Denise (10/5): - Pom Marine Hotel is in a good location, about 4-minute walk to the Richard Haynes Boardwalk and the beach. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed getting a morning wake-up call from the local rooster. I liked everything about this hotel. It would have been perfect if it had been on the ocean.
- Adrian (8/5): Pleasant staff, comfortable and close to amenities in the area. - Limited and while we found out later they offered a better selection but didn't advertise the fact. On our last morning the breakfast staffing was poor. One young girl having to serve, side off and prepare food. Eventually one of the trainers and a member of the kitchen staff came to assist.
- Helenor (10/5): Great - This is s very intimate hotel. There are only about 20 rooms. Spotlessly clean and very friendly.
The students are training and do the cooking and serving are very pleasant.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Near the beach, 2minute walk. With a choice of bars and restaurants . I had to leave 😩
- Gavin (10/5): Very enjoyable. Great value for area. - Friendly staff.
Nice room.
Good breakfast
- Hugh (10/5): Awesome place to stay in B’dos. - Great location, welcoming staff and great amenities There isn’t anything
- Luca (10/5): -
- Christa (10/5): - Only spent one night , it’s a very nice property and friendly staff. Bed was a little too firm. Wouldn’t be able to do an extended stay on the firm bed.
- Simas (8/5): -
- Renee Zamore (9/5): - Friendly service, lovely property Breakfast was mid but the service was great
- Scott (10/5): Wonderfully relaxing and peaceful - Great concept having a working hotel and restaurant for culinary students! All of the staff/students were extremely nice and polite. The four course dinner meal for US$25 can’t be beat on the island.
- bill (10/5): A wonderful experience - We loved our breakfast and short stay, had board a ship at noon. The staff was super.we would like to return for 4-5 days in the future.
- Francisco (4/5): - Mala atención
- Kathleen (9/5): - A lovely hotel in the perfect spot just minutes walk from the boardwalk.
- Artur (8/5): -
- Wendy Lena (7/5): It was great to be in Barbados - The breakfasts were great and the location was very quiet and yet only 4 minutes walk down to Hastings Rocks and lots of cafes and restaurants. And the boardwalk! There was no refrigerator in the room
- debra (10/5): Perfect Place to Stay - Location was perfect Nothing not yo like
- Farah (9/5): -
- Jorge (10/5): -
- Alex (9/5): -
- Jackie (9/5): - Warm friendly staff. Cleanliness. Daily room service. Nothing to complain about.
- cheonggyecheon (8/5): Great value, nice hotel. - Location is great, a 1-minute walk to a main road where minibuses pass very frequently and beyond that is the beach and boardwalk.
Hotel is nice, everything is clean and comfortable. Courtyard with pool is lovely.
Service is attentive.
- Carol (7/5): Good value for the money. - Clean and friendly staff. A block or two off the beach.
- Nigel (8/5): - nice staff nothing
- SANDY (10/5): Absolutely loved this hotel - Lovely ambience, very quaint and so much nicer than a big modern hotel. There are only 20 rooms so not crowded. Very friendly staff. Would definitely choose again. It was a wonderful stay but too short. Great location. Nothing. Just a note to hotel, maybe a few more sunbeds around the pool.
- Colin (10/5): Great location, lovely staff and the 5 course Friday dinner simply stunning! - Great space, bright and clean. Good location close to the beach and 15 mins from Bridgetown. Not much
- Jane (8/5): - This was a training hotel. It was once a beautiful mansion so the conversion to a hotel has been tastefully done keeping it's nostalgic feel. The bar was closed !
