• Guest (10/5): Wunderbare Oase in Nungwi - Diese Unterkunft können wir als Familie mit 3 Kindern absolut empfehlen, wir fühlten uns hier sehr willkommen! Eine kleine Oase mit sehr hilfsbereiten und sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets darauf bedacht, dass man sich wohl fühlt und sie helfen sofort, wenn man Fragen oder Wünsche hat. Ein besonders großes Lob an Pierre an der Rezeption und an Abu :) Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, die gesamte Anlage mitsamt Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt - alles sehr sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man am schönen Strand, mit dem Taxi kommt man in wenigen Minuten in die belebtere und Gegend von Nungwi. Wir genossen es immer wieder, nach Ausflügen in diese ruhige Oase zurück zu kehren und uns vom Trubel außerhalb zu entspannen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

• ILYAH CHAWKI (7/5): Plus une auberge qu'un hôtel 4* - Je pense que le meilleur était le personnel (mention spécial à abubaker) ils sont très serviables, gentils et à l'écoute ! Imani aussi le gérant de l'hôtel ainsi que le massai a la réception ont étaient plus qu'adorable vraiment rien à dire la dessus. Loin d'être un 4*, plutôt un petit 2* amélioré, l'hôtel est située sur une route horriblement cabossée ce qui rend son accès très difficile, ensuite l'hôtel en lui même est mal agencé on sy sent très oppressé, toutes les chambres au tour d'une petite piscine qui donne pas vraiment envie de s'y baigner . Le petit déjeuné était bon mais très très peu de choix ! L'hôtel n'a pas accès à l'eau douce, je ne m'y attendais pas du tout, très étonné de sentir l'eau de mer à ma première douche ! Les chambres sont effectivement propres mais le ménages pourrait être amélioré (le changement des produits détergent est indispensable)

• Zinovia (5/5): Would never go back & would not recommend this place (not for the price they are charging at least) - Change of towels and bedsheets every day, and the manager who tried to make the situation a bit better a few times. 1st room we booked was terrible (for both couples, so two rooms). It was the standard rooms. It wasn't feasible to stay there so we had to request an upgrade to a king superior room (for which we paid for, for both rooms). The rooms were smelling mold (both upgraded ones too, our clothes were ALL smelling when we returned home), had cockroaches, there were footprints on the floor after the cleaning (every single day; probably because they were mopping but not letting them dry out naturally, so the humidity combo was creating this effect), there were ants every single day (you couldn't leave any food anywhere in the room (coming from the mold/humidity I assume). Also, next to one of the upgraded rooms they were doing constructions during the entire duration of our stay (there was a lot of noise all the time plus power cuts to the entire property). Generally, the standard room is not even passable (the shower was full of rust, you didn't even want to take a shower in it or touch anywhere), let alone for the price of the room, which was significant. It wasn't really a cheap room, so you could say that "well you get what you pay for". The superior room is passable (though I would never go back), primarily because of the mold smell which left us with respiratory issues after 10 nights. Now in terms of the property, the breakfast had limited options to choose from (plus on the last day we were told we can't have breakfast because the stove on the kitchen was broken - yes there was only one stove). Also, the coffee machine (yes, the one they had) was broken for multiple days during our stay. In the days we were lucky to have the coffee machine and the kitchen working, we would get our coffee and breakfast an hour later (apart from some pieces of fruit which they would bring within 10-15 minutes) and the staff working during breakfast were NOT trained at all to be working there.

Non abbiamo mai avuto problemi anche per l'allergia di mia figlia. In generale possiamo dire che si mangia molto bene anche a pranzo e cena. Un neo potrebbe essere che al weekend vanno un po' in affanno con il numero elevato di arrivi, con qualche disservizio, ma la loro gentilezza te li fa perdonare.

• Guest (10/5): Perfect hidden paradise… - Everything was perfect to be honest. We are traveling alot and this is the first time that we were really satisfied with everything that a facility provided. We arrived way too early in the morning to the hotel and i was ready to take a nap on pool side until the room get ready :))) but the staff immediately arranged a room for us at a nearby hotel. So after long flight we were able to rest before settle our original room. I must say that we never saw that kind of service in any resort all around the world.. was a great gesture. Hotel restaurant is amazing… Anything u pick from the menu is delicios, staff is genuine and shows a great hospitality and serves genuinely. The greatest wifi connection ever. Even better than our home… Rooms are really super clean and comfortable. We stayed in both type of rooms in one week and both room types r very comfortable, clean and view is amazing . The hotel is close to beach by walking and it is actually good to see other sides of the Zanzibar too. And the environment is safe. The only thing we would find intimidating at first is the roads that going to the hotel… The roads in general are in bad condition in Zanzibar, so for a person who comes here for the first time and if your flight is late like ours… you can get intimidated by it. It makes you questioning where i just arrived but i ensure that its a big contrast with the swrvice you get from the hotel. Everything was perfect.
• Abu (10/5): Excellent property and highly recommended - Very friendly staff. Reception manager Iman was extremely helpful. The restaurant staff Justina and Julie very hardworking despite pressure. We enjoyed playing table tennis. Chef’s are a bit slow but quality of food is good. The location is excellent and poor. It’s 5 mins walking distance from Royal beach one of the best. Not far from Kendwa and Nungwi beach. Inside the property is beautiful but the neighbourhood and road is a bit rundown especially when walking to Royal beach. But I guess this is common in north of Zanzibar.
• De wet (10/5): Amazing relaxing stay. - The breakfast was very good—fresh, satisfying, and a great way to start the day. That said, it would be even better if the menu changed from time to time to add some variety. One downside was the presence of crows during breakfast; they were quite aggressive and even tried to steal food from our plates, which was frustrating. The location, however, was superb—just an 8-minute walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Smoothy bar at the pool. Introducing a selection of beers alongside the current offerings. This addition could appeal to a broader range of guests, especially those looking to relax poolside with a refreshing beverage beyond smoothies
• Salu (9/5): Hidden Gem - Cozy, hidden haven! Safe! We walked about to other parts of Nungwi daily and at night interacting with the local people was one of the highlights of our stay....Hakuna matata! Front desk and pool side staff were very welcoming and friendly...made us feel at home! Rooms were as advertised, clean and spacious. The breakfast fruit platter was our favorite. The hotel tour staff from Urafiki tours were super helpful in arranging our sunset cruise and trip to swim with the turtles, a must do activity. Thank you for a lovely stay.🙏

They put in mosquito nets for us on request . The pool was cleaned daily. The family room was on the smaller side for 4 people . The location is just that little bit further from the centre to walk late at night but not a problem as rickshaws are available.

• Artem (9/5): Хороший отель по меркам Занзибара. - Тихое место (5-7 минут до пляжа): за десять дней нас ни разу никто не побеспокоил снаружи. Очень горячая вода, которая не заканчивается. Хороший новый и тихий кондиционер. Генератор, который включается при отключении электричества (что происходит в Занзибаре по нескольку раз в день). В ресторане доброжелательные сотрудники. Менеджер отеля нашёл для нас фумигатор от комаров. Понравились блюда из ресторана, особенно стейк из говядины. В целом, рекомендуем. Нам не хватило Seafood fried rice в меню и сливочного масла на завтраке. Не работали электрические розетки у кровати, пришлось использовать удлинитель. При отключении электричества и перехода на генератор и обратно, пропадает WiFi на минуту из-за перезагрузки роутера.

They kindly arranged an early check-in for us, which made our arrival so much smoother and more comfortable. A special thank you to Iman and Pierre, who went above and beyond with their kindness—truly appreciated! The room was clean & comfortable, the service was great, & we felt really taken care of during our time there. And of course, the hotel’s layout is absolutely beautiful. Insects! But given the hotel’s jungle setting, it’s totally understandable and difficult to avoid. It didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Chambres spacieuses, propres et très bien équipées, TV, coffre, thé, et café, meme un sac pour ramener les serviettes de plage. Piscine propre et bien entretenue, staff aimable qui nous ont aidé pour tout organiser, petit déjeuner copieux servi au restaurant de l’hôtel. • Dominik (10/5): Family Friendly stay - We stayed here for 4 Nights. The pool was Good sized with the shallow areas for the kids to play. Water toys available. Breakfast was satisfying for all family members. The Staff was always there to help and ready to talk if needed. We learned a lot of Suahili from the the Best bartender in nungwi who operates in this hotel. Tropical offers a lot of additional information and guidance. You can always rely on their information. The place is clean and the room service was excellent. The overall place is worth seeing even if you are no guest in the hotel room.
• JOHN (9/5): Would return tomorrow if I could ! - It was so quiet ,a tropical oasis hidden away in a beautiful garden.Only 5 to 15 minute walk to beach ,restaurants ,and local bars with real locals ,great atmosphere, brilliant value and safe .I travelled solo but the hotel is ideal for all travellers especially families the pool is perfect for kids .My room had everything I needed with a lovely balcony over looking the pool and gardens ,breakfast was good and room service was available no alcohol sold on premises but no problem bringing it in and fridge in room ,so happy days !The staff were absolutely amazing Pierre ,Abu ,Shocra no 1 security guard ;cleaning girls and kitchen staff honestly best ever and I travel a lot, nothing was to much effort first class I was there for 10 nights was really sad to leave thank you so much . The frequent power cuts but that's Zanzibar and the hotel has a generator 👍

• Haris (10/5): - Superaardig personeel. De kamers waren schoon, het eten was top. De service was uitstekend, het personeel stond 24/7 klaar. Ook als je naar een ander strand wilde gaan dan werd je opgehaald en werd je weer terug gebracht naar het resort. Echt top!

• Dan (8/5): Lively place full of happy travellers - Balcony overlooking the nice pool area. 5-10 minute walk to the beach or local shops and restaurants. Or easily walk farther to explore the rest of Nungwi. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, juice, Africafe, and choice of eggs, pancakes, etc. The facilities are expanding and under construction, although the noise wasn't that bothersome. Good music playing at the pool area, sometimes it was a bit loud. Power and hot water went on and off, but that is not out of the ordinary on Zazibar.

I really appreciated the refrigerator in the room. The staff was very nice and willing to solve every request. Thank you very much for your help with my departure to the airport. • MarinVladovic (9/5): A little calm tropical paradise in Nungwi - We were here for 6 nights. The location, although not on the beach, was for our taste great, as you have a 5 min walk to the nrarest5beach but are away from all the ruckus. This is a small resort, although 12 new apartments are being finished worth a new kitchen and additional pools. The environment is fantastic, a small tropical forest. The staff is very friendly and the manager Abu as well as Pierre (his assistant manager). Very caring. We had an issue when we came the first day, a small mixup with the rooms but I write this, as I have also worked in tourism and hotels and know these things happen, what matters is how you resolve this..and Abu did a remarkable job. A very good host. The food was quite tasty. Overall I would like to think that we would return one day. The accommodation as well as the staff has a good potential. Forget the fancy big beach resorts..for a family or an easy going. Couple, thisv is the place to be in Nungwi.

Gerai išdėstyti kambariai, pakankamai gera garso izoliacija, visada švarūs ir tvarkingi. Viešbučio kavinėje kas rytą skanūs ir labai sotūs pusryčiai iš pasirenkamo meniu. Tik personalas lėtai sukasi, bet čia taip yra visame Zanzibare, niekas niekur neskuba :) Dienos, vakaro metu kavinė taip pat veikia, labai didelės porcijos ir skanus maistas. Atsiskaityti galima vietine valiuta, eurais, doleriais, kortele. Viešbutis neturi alkoholio pardavimo licenzijos, tačiau nedraudžia parsinesti jo patiems. Turi generatorius, todėl visada yra elektra. iki jūros reikia paeiti apie 5 min.
• Virginie (7/5): Un bon hôtel avec un cadre magnifique - Le cadre est magnifique, verdoyant et bien entretenu. Piscine d'une bonne taille. Chambre jolie avec balcon ou terrasse et décoration soignée. Fleurs à l'arrivée sur le lit. Le personnel est très sympa. Petit déjeuner de qualite avec jus frais et préparation maison. Groupe électrogène apprécies suite aux nombreuses coupures de courant. Le petit déjeuner est servis à votre arrivée mais ce n'est pas un buffet. Du coup selon l'affluence prevoir entre 30min et 1 h pour déjeuner ce qui peut être long avant un départ en excursion. Je déconseille le service de laundry le linge est rendu dans un sac même pas plié et tâche ou jauni pour certains habits. Le monsieur de la reception a été conciliant et ma fait un geste sur le prix. Nombreuses coupures de courant mais le groupe prend le relai. Chambre familiale pour 4 un peu petite

• elinor (10/5): גן עדן מושלם - מקום מקסים גן עדן קטן וחבוי מבחוץ לא מבינים בכלל עד כמה יפה וקסום בפנים הצוות מדהים שירותי אדיב אכפתי. החדרים מושלמים ענקיים המקום חדש לחלוטין מיזוג אוויר ברמה גבוהה מיטות נוחות אמבטיה ושירותים נקיים מרווחים ונוחים. ה אוכל מעולה פלוס פלוס בריכה כיפית ומפנקת בר שייקים מושלם עם שייקים טבעיים. מרגישים כמו בבית מהרגע הראשון.... זה לא מול הים צריך לקחת בודה שזה שירות הסעה עם אופנוע שמאוד מקובל פה למשך שלוש דקות בשביל להגיע לחוף אבל בשביל הגן עדן של המלון הזה זה שווה את זה.

• Anna (6/5): Buen hotel con rica comida, personal amable cama mala, - El patio / piscina fresco y bonito. La comida no muy abundante pero rica. Sobretodo las Green toast y la pasta de marisco. La hamburguesa no valía mucho.... faltaba comida local real. La habitación también era grande aunque la cama era incómoda, se hundía...podias pedir un taxi o tuc tuc fácilmente. Dispones de jabones para bañarte. El patio tiene bar y ponen música. Hay aire acondicionado y caja de seguridad.el personal era bastante atento y amable. La cama, se hunde.. usé el servicio de lavandería y me perdieron ropa.. y me estropearon otra! No recomiendo usarlo. Tampoco explicaban bien las actividades.el baño era grande y limpio pero deben hacer más mantenimiento.no te dejaban agua en la habitación. Un poco lejos de la playa... Aunque está bastante céntricos...el wifi horrible...

Pokój i łazienka bardzo przestronne, duże wygodne łóżko, duży prysznic, duże lustro i umywalka. Codzienne sprzątanie pokoju i wymiana ręczników. Bardzo miła, uśmiechnięta i pomocna obsługa hotelu. Przyjemne miejsce!

The bathrooms were very dated, with lots of limescale and the water temperature was always lukewarm. This made self cleaning a very unpleasant experience but this seems to be the norm for most hotels nearby. The internet constantly cut out but it's to be expected with the country norms.

Najsłabszym punktem hotelu jest restauracja - braki w menu - brak pizzy, śniadania bardzo ubogie a czas oczekiwania na zamówienie katastrofalny.
