• Valeria (10/5): Adorabile - Posizione perfetta per arrivare in spiaggia a piedi ma anche per visitare la costa con i mezzi, immersa nel silenzio della natura, a due passi da ristorantini e bar. La casa è comoda per 4 persone, molto semplice ed essenziale ma pulita e accogliente. La famiglia ci ha accolto con grande gentilezza e ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa, ci hanno coinvolto nella loro quotidianità e aiutato con l organizzazione dei nostri trasferimenti. Il giardino è bellissimo.

• Irina (10/5): Жалко что мой отпуск слишком короткий - Отель находится в Мидигама, в 2 х минутах есть станция поездов, на которой можно доехать в Коломбо. Через 200 м пляж, спуск хороший. Само вилла трёхкомнатная, две спальни и зал. На кухне есть всё необходимое, газовая плита, посуда, холодильник. Всё чисто, всё опрятная. Комаров не было. Хозяева дома, чудесная семья, угощали нас постоянно чаем. Помогали во всех вопросах. Тяжелые финансовое положение, но при этом они всегда улыбаются. Стоимость за самые низкой на всём побережье. Рядом стоят стоянки тук-тук, можно доехать до велигама за 500 рупий. Продуктовые магазины тоже рядом. Постельное белье, полотенца, это всё чистое. Никаких посторонних животных, посторонних запахов. Пахнет свежестью. Тут можно жить годами Все норм
• Miguel (10/5): Exceptional - After 5 months travelling through Asia, Mahiru Homestay was likely the best place for the value we have found. You get 2 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette (fridge, sink and camping gas) with enough kitchen utensils that do the job. The family is amazing, the house is not on the main road of Midigama but still 5 minutes a way from the beach and very affordable restaurants. They also arrange you a motorbike and help you with public buses schedules and stops if you need. For its location and comfort it is the type of accommodation that you can stay for your entire time in your travel in south Sri Lanka. I really wish all the best for this amazing family! that I couldn't spend more time with them 😂
• Anna (9/5): Superb - Cozy Sri Lankan-style house (2BR, living room/kitchen, bathroom, terrace, garden). Owned by a kind family next door. Great price-quality balance! And like 5-min walk to a breathtaking blue-water beach.
• Yonatan (10/5): Part of the family - The moment we got there the host family made us feel like one of their own. Helped us with everything, made us dinner and even got us drinks from the shop. Lovely garden to hang around, just a few minutes walk from the beach. They also do washing that comes out smelling nice and clean. 10/10
• Onno (10/5): Exceptional - The location is nice, peaceful and central in Midigama. Little Mahiru and his family are very kind people with big smiles. They would come and check on us every now and then and offer a refreshment. In the garden I saw a lot of animals while sitting on the porch like monkeys, mongooses and lots of birds. It could get a bit hot during daytime but that's the climate here, and there are fans to cool you down.

The rooms at the homestay are cozy and clean. They even organized a birthday surprise party for one of us with cake and everything. :) We would recommend this place to everyone, have a great stay!
• Alison (10/5): Amazing! - The family is absolutely lovely and are likely to help you with questions and recommendations. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, but I stayed 7 nights, that says alot :) The house is really close to the beach so ideal for surfers and people who love the beach. The house is really spacious and it’s clean and neat. Also the garden is really big and you have enough space to chill or lay in the hammock! Would definitely recommend!
• Carlo (10/5): Truly a wonderful, warm, kind and local homestay. - Mahiru homestay is a place where you will experience the true love and hospitality of the Sri Lanka locals. I stayed here for a month and really felt at home. The beautiful family of 5 will receive you with open arms, teach you about there culture and language and will make sure you have everything you need! Would highly recommend!!
• Dalton (10/5): Exceptional - The most lovely family. They really made us feel super welcome and looked after us a lot. Really nice garden and front veranda to chill out. Two super lovely dogs. A lot of space to hang out, play games or just watch the monkeys jumping in the trees Definitely recommend staying here There's not much that we didn't like A bit tricky to find the location but you just keep walking further than it shows on Google maps and you'll find it on the right side. There's no kitchen as it says on booking but they're always happy to boil water for you or you can even use the family's kitchen around the back.
