• Martina (10/5): Warm and eclectic - The staff here were wonderful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It felt like we were at a local friend's house. There were toys and books for kids in the restaurant area, the staff even kicked a ball with the kids a few times. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Incredible shower - with hot water (perfect after a day of exploring or being suck in the rain!). I thought it was really thoughtful that they gave us extra blankets without us even asking, as it was quite chilly during the night. The food was fantastic. The pool, grounds and gardens are well maintained and the vibe is very eclectic. It really is a special place. The weather! It can get quite cold and we had rain showers on and off - the hotel gave us each an umbrella to use which was really kind. We loved the family cabins, but good to know for those with limited mobility that the stairs to the loft level are very steep.
• Björn (9/5): Super nettes Personal, schöne Räume, schöner Garten, super Frühstück. Etwas laut. Wegweiser auf - Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Lage ist etwas abgeschieden. Man bekommt nur selten ein Gojek/Grab. Die Unterkünfte sind ganz schön gestaltet und liegen in einem schönen Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sehr hübsch angerichtet. Das Haus genau neben der Straße war etwas laut, wegen der vorbeifahrenden Motorräder. Die Unterkunft hat aber Ohrstöpsel/Gehörschutz zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Gelände ist etwas unübersichtlich. Ausschilderung z. Bsp. zum Restaurant oder Pool wären hilfreich.

L’hôtel est propice au repos, la nature est luxuriante on se sent vraiment bien ici. Beaucoup d’humidité (malgré la mise en place de déshumidificateur)

Il personale era molto gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Inoltre la struttura offre vari servizi tra cui i massaggi, il servizio in camera e driver per i vari spostamenti. La consiglio a tutti, è situata in un luogo molto tranquillo.

• Aldo (10/5): - Ce site est simplement très beau! Belle décoration traditionnelle, la nourriture est très bonne et la piscine un super plus. Les chambres sont bien séparées comme des chalets individuels, le wifi marche bien et l'équipe est super sympa. L'accès est un peu loin de la route principale, il faut faire attention la nuit à cause des chiens des voisins qui ne sont pas attachés et le manque de lumière.
• Martin (9/5): Krásné a srdečné ubytování s výbornou kuchyní a výjimečně milým personálem - Ubytování mělo velmi příjemnou atmosféru v lehce balijském duchu. V interiéru byly krásné vyřezávané ornamenty, ručně malované obrazy a dřevěné sošky, takže místo působilo útulně a osobitě. Nejvíc nás ale okouzlil personál. Tak vstřícný, milý a ochotný přístup jsme snad ještě nikde nezažili. Recepční Putu byla neustále usměvavá, pozitivní a s ničím nebyl problém – všechno ochotně zařídila a člověk měl opravdu pocit, jako by byl součástí jejich rodiny. Výborné byly také snídaně, které byly v ceně pobytu, a velmi jsme si pochutnali i na večeřích. Potěšila nás i nabídka horkých bylinných nápojů jamu. Je to skvělé místo pro ty, kdo hledají klid mimo turisticky nejrušnější oblasti, dobrou kuchyni a příjemnější klima ve vyšší nadmořské výšce. Občas některé zásuvky nefungovaly úplně spolehlivě a neudržely nabíječku, takže se nám stalo, že telefon přes noc nenabil. Vnímali jsme to ale spíš jako drobnost danou běžným provozním opotřebením.

Un ambiente espectacular balinés, perfecto para un verdadero retiro de todo el bullicio de la sociedad. El equipo que lo acompaña te hace sentir como una gran familia. Nos han tratado como verdaderos reyes. La comida del restaurante, junto con sus bebidas es, de verdad, la mejor experiencia gastronómica indonesia que he podido probar en Bali. Estamos muy agradecidos de haber caído en Kawinaya. Repetiríamos sin lugar a dudas.

In der trocken Zeit wahrscheinlich angenehmer, da zum Beispiel das Bettzeug oft feucht war und generell die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch war.

• Violaine (10/5): Une superbe expérience - L'hôtel est magnifique, la piscine est grande, tout est très bien entretenu. J'ai adoré la chambre qui est gigantesque et extrêmement bien décorée, avec une très belle terrasse. Ambiance zen et healthy. Le restaurant est bon mais les heures d'ouverture sont courtes, le soir. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et bons. Fontaine à eau gratuite. Si vous n'êtes pas motorisé vous êtes loin de tout, mais ils proposent des services efficaces, abordables et souriants. Délicate attention, un jour de pluie le personnel nous a apporté des parapluies à la chambre. Pas de plateau de courtoisie, dommage. Un sèche cheveux par chambre serait souhaitable, sinon il faut le demander à la réception et le ramener au cas où quelqu'un en aurait besoin ultérieurement. Mais c'est du détail

È però una zona molto fredda la notte, le casette in legno, molto curate, sono prive di serramenti, solo persiane. Di notte anche tirando bene tende interne fa comunque freddo. Bisogna avere abbigliamento da montagna
• Inke (7/5): Goed en groot verblijf in natuurlijke omgeving, doch afgelegen en enige overlast. - Groot huis in Balinese stijl, omgeven door mooie groene tuin. Goed bed! Zwembad oogt mooi, echter zelf geen gebruik van gemaakt. Lieve manager die overal bij helpt. Ontbijt keuze uit 5 gerechten, goede kwaliteit. Goede koffie! Wat voor ons erg belangrijk is. Scooter kun je huren vanuit hotel, keuze uit 2 stuks welke enigezins achterstallig onderhoud hebben. Heel veel watervallen in de buurt! Veel geluidsoverlast, vroeg in de ochtend verschillende luide hanen, scooters en gebedsrituelen welke je wakker maken. Oordopjes worden wel gegeven door manager. Ligt vrij afgelegen, scooter of driver nodig om ergens te komen en in avond te gaan eten. Eten bij accommodatie is goed, echter niet altijd warm. Ons huisje bevatte veel kieren en gaten, wees niet bang voor insecten, slakken en gekko’s welke je huis binnendringen (en je soms wakker houden). Hoge luchtvochtigheid, veel spullen worden nat door bezoek aan watervallen, geen verwarming of kacheltje om spullen te drogen.

• Lillian (8/5): - A lovely place where all the rooms have traditional wooden style and the whole compound/gardens are lush and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the shower pressure/temperature worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly too. The access road is quite narrow and steep, making it a bit tricky to drive with a car.

• Miguel (10/5): - Experiencia más que satisfactoria. Está en Wanagiri, cerca de cascadas y rodeado de naturaleza. Cuenta con cabañas con mucho encanto y un jardín con una piscina espectacular. La comida fue perfecta, tanto el desayuno como la cena nos encantaron. Sin embargo, lo que hay que destacar más sin duda es el personal. En Bali la amabilidad de la gente es de admirar, pero lo de este alojamiento es superior. Se sentó el dueño a hablar con nosotros después de cenar y tuvimos una conversación muy agradable. Su compañera, que fue quien nos recibió, estuvo más que pendiente de que nuestra estancia fuese perfecta. Si volvemos a Bali, volveremos 100% Nada. Todo perfecto.

Nous avons eu de l’eau froide pendant une nuit. La chambre n’était pas insonorisée. Un chauffage avec une clime et une meilleure isolation pourrait déjà augmenter la qualité de la chambre.

• Christine (9/5): Traumhaft - Wir haben ein Zimmer gebucht und haben in einem Haus gewohnt! Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großzügig, mit komfortablem Bett und Sitzecke, sehr sauber. Eine große Terrasse und der Pool direkt vor der Haustür machten unseren Aufenthalt entspannt und angenehm. Im Restaurant gibt es eine kleine Auswahl landestypischer Gerichte, die der Koch sehr dekorativ anrichtet. Wir haben unseren sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Pondok Kawinaya uneingeschränkt weiter..

• Vasilissa (8/5): Great accommodation / disappointing food - The room was very spacious and comfortable, we really enjoyed a large terrace. It was nice and quiet besides the occasional animal / roosters noises. Location is a bit remote, but it’s close to the waterfalls and their driver rates are very reasonable if you want to take a day trip. We booked their driver to go to Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls. The food was one of the worst we had in Bali, some of the dishes were completely inedible (vegan items). Pasta was ok, smoothie bowl was very liquid like a soup. Also the selection is very limited and there aren’t any restaurants close by so we had to eat at the hotel the whole time.
