Nos llevaron en coche a cenar y a buscar un ATM. Nos recomendaron una ruta para ver los templos. Además se ofrecieron a llevarnos a Sigiriya. Muy recomendable, son personas encantadoras ❤️

• Andrea (9/5): Eine schöner Ort zum Entspannen - Ein schönes ,ruhiges Plätzchen zum entspannen ,fern des Trubels der Stadt.Man kann sich erholen und im Garten Vögel & Mongos beobachten. Ich habe gut im Bett geschlafen,es gibt AC und Deckenventilator.Sehr hilfsbereiter ,verantwortungsvoller und freundlicher Besitzer ,er hat mir einen TukTuk Fahrer für die Stupis & archäologischen Zonen organisiert.Seine Frau bietet Frühstück und Abendessen an ,welches lecker und reichlich ist.Gerne bekommst du eine Kanne Tee und es gibt gefiltertes Wasser . Nichts

• Christophe (5/5): - Je fais 1m80 j avais les pieds en dehors du lit. Arrivé avec 1h de retard l’hôte n était pas accueillant. Pas d eau chaude pour la douche 😅
• E (7/5): Eenvoudig verblijf met vriendelijk gastheer. - Gastheer was vriendelijk en behulpzaam voor het regelen van safari naar Wilpatu en bezoek aan Mihintale. Lekker gegeten bij Cleo's Enkele bezienswaardigheden om max. 20 minuutjes lopen. Mooie tuin bij het huis, zitje is klein maar overdekt. De kamers zijn (zeer) eenvoudig, een kamer had niet eens een stopcontact. Badkamer is verouderd. De wifi was soms matig. We konden geen gebruikmaken van ontbijt of avondeten-service. En prijs gerekend voor lunchpakket voor safari was niet in verhouding.

We had a delicious home cooked meal one night and host walked us to a nearby roadside restaurant that had good cheap food another night. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay here.

Overall awesome experience our stay. The host Uncle Ranjith was super helpful and kind. The food his wife prepared for us was really delicious as well. The room was also cozy and clean. There’s absolutely nothing that we didn’t like about our stay at Olivia homestay. Had a really amazing experience.

• Beth (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - a home away from home. - The homestay was absolutely beautiful and felt really comfortable and homely. The location was also brilliant, walking and cycling distance from all the main sites (and the kind hosts helped sort bikes out for us to use). The hosts were so kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us and explain where all the best sites are and give handy tips. It was great chatting with them and getting to know a bit more about the area! The food was also incredible. The best breakfast and lunch we had for our whole trip. 10/10 recommend.

• John (10/5): A true homestay with a lovely family - This was an amazing stay - a homestay in the true sense where you feel you are a welcome guest in the family home. Everything about the room was comfortable, including the bed, air conditioning, fan and new clean bathroom. Breakfast is available on request and was delicious. The couple let me wash and dry my clothes as well. The owners had family living the same small city as well so we had a chat on the phone, and it was lovely to make these connections. The hosts can help you with everything to do with transport and seeing the area. There is a bicycle rental just a minute's walk away. The location is great - as close as you can realistically get to the temples, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

• Nyske (9/5): Wonderful! - The owner is the sweetest man in sri lanka: he is up for a meaningful conversation and goes out of his way to be incredibly helpful! The garden is beautiful as well, they keep all different kinds of plants. The location is outside the busy centre, but close by the stupa’s and the Bothi tree. There are nice local restaurants just around the corner. All in all, we had a great time!
• Judith (8/5): A pleasant stop for a couple of days with a friendly and helpful host. - Peaceful, close to the ancient city. We were able to use the fridge, there was a toaster and kettle. There was a nice shared space for eating a light meal. Our host shared lots of good information, helped us rent bikes and on our last morning drove us to an important temple that we had missed then took us to the train station. While the location is very close to the sacred city , restaurants are a bit of a distance but with tuktuks so cheap it really isn’t a problem.

• Shehan (9/5): A peaceful stay with great value, close to Anuradhapura's sacred sites. - We stayed at Rate Olivia Homestay with my family from Saturday night until Sunday morning, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is very calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent—just a short distance to some of Anuradhapura's most iconic sites. It's very close to Mirisawatiya, and both Ruwanweli Saya and the Sri Maha Bodhi are just 2 km away. The accommodations were comfortable, the surroundings were serene, and the price was very fair for the quality provided. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
