• Sachelarie (10/5): Un sejur de vis! - Am avut o experiență extraordinară la Pensiunea Sălaș.❤️ Am fost întâmpinate cu mâncare caldă imediat ce am ajuns, ceea ce a fost perfect după un drum lung. Gazda este extrem de primitoare, iar compania ei a făcut șederea și mai plăcută. Atmosfera este caldă și autentică, te simți cu adevărat binevenit. Camerele călduroase și foarte curate. Locația este excelentă, foarte aproape de Munții Retezat, fiind un punct de plecare ideal pentru cei care doresc să exploreze traseele montane sau pur și simplu să se bucure de natură. Recomand cu mare drag această pensiune tuturor celor care caută liniște, ospitalitate și acces rapid către frumusețea munților.
• Mircea (9/5): - It’s a very good choice if you want to explore the area, rooms are confortable and simple and the location has very nice facilities for unwinding after long days (sauna, jacuzzi, hot bath with wooden fire). Most important is the host who is an amazing person, very friendly and welcoming and ready to accomodate every need.

• Daniel (10/5): Locatie si oameni deosebiti - Ne-am simtit extraordinar de bine. Doamna Nely este minunata: la plecare fetita mea a plans, asa de mult i-a placut. De-abia asteptam sa revenim sa stam mai multe zile.

• Madalina Teodor (10/5): Extraordinar! - Pensiunea este pozitionata intr-un loc linistit, aproape de traseele turistice din Retezat si are tot confortul de care aveti nevoie, inclusiv sauna si jacuzzi. De asemenea, o recomandam pentru ospitalitatea doamnei Neli care este o gazda cum rar gasesti! Micul dejun inclus este foarte generos si gustos iar cina este extraordinara!

• Roxana (9/5): De repetat! - Locurile ca locurile, dar oamenii … ei sunt sufletul oricărei povești frumoase. Oamenii buni îți rămân în inimă. Cat despre trasee, noi am reușit sa facem unul si bun! Am exagerat cu un traseu de 12 ore, minunat, dar care ne-a “costat” energia pt 3 zile😅: Cârnic- Cabana Gențiana- Vârful Peleaga- Lacul Bucura si retur.

It's worth the detour off the main drag because it has a charm all of its own, which you can find for yourself, without my 2 cents. I chose this place based on the reviews and was not disappointed ! Atmosphere is super relaxed, the hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome and provide support for anything you want. The central room in the pension is connected with an open kitchen where you get served breakfast or dinner (if you agreed to order it) or where you can enjoy to take your own food. During the evening several friends in the neighborhood and several guests enjoyed the evening in the garden served with beer, Palinka or other drinks. We enjoyed a lot our stay at Pension Salas and recommend it warmly to everybody.

Our host has a vast experience as a professional cook. She offered to cook dinner for us, which we gratefully accepted. Though we returned for dinner several hours after the established hour, our host served us a fabulous meal, opening a bottle of white wine. The lady has got quite the right touch for being a horeca host: leaving people all the privacy they want, being at your disposal whenever you need and having the charisma to joining in a personal conversation, not being shy of making a friendly ironic remark, showing a pleasant touch of hospitability!
