• Marcus (9/5): Komme gerne wieder! - Überaus freundliche Begrüßung durch die Hotelinhaberin! Für meinen Kurztrip nach Boppard war es die perfekte Unterkunft. Gastronomie fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Ebenso der kostenfreie Parkplatz (nachts) in einer öffentlichen Tiefgarage.

• Scott (8/5): Great value hotel in an ideal location in a terrific Rhine town. - Excellent central location. Compact but very clean and comfortable single room. Very helpful and friendly staff. No real criticisms.
• Angelika (7/5): War sauber und ansonsten alles gut. - Sehr nette Bewirtung. Güterzüge in ziemlich kurzen Abständen, die ganze Nacht hindurch, in ca.200 m Entfernung. Hatte Schwierigkeiten mit dem Schlafen, trotz Ohrropacs die das Hotel zur Verfügung stellte. Sonst alles gut.
• Niko (8/5): Gerne Wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Boppard. - Sehr schönes Hotel fast genau im Zentrum. Nur wenige Meter bis zum Markt. Das Hotel ist Familien geführt. Jeden Morgen bereitet die Chefin die Eier auf Wunsch selber zu. Wer sein Zimmer nicht reinigen lässt (was ja nicht jeden Tag sein muss) bekommt was süßes. Sehr schöne Geste. Ansonsten war unser Komfort-Doppelzimmer sehr groß und modern. Die Nähe zu dem Bahngleisen, macht es recht laut. Teilweise wackelt das Haus bei großen Güterzügen. Nach der ersten Nacht hatten wir’s aber daran gewöhnt.

• Ruth (10/5): Excellent location and wonderful hosts. - Hotel Sonnenhof is perfectly placed to explore Boppard and the Rhine, being only a two minute walk from the river. Michael and his wife (and Buddy the dog) are excellent hosts who made us feel extremely welcome, as well as giving us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. My dog Harry enjoyed lots of extra treats as well! Would definitely recommend.

• Malcolm (8/5): It was a home from home with a little amusement caused by our attempts at the German language. - Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The hotel is ideally situated only a few metres away from the town centre, shops, restaurants and the riverside. The hosts (and Buddy, the dog) are delightful people. The only thing lacking was a lift - although the property would hardly have room for one. I speak as an 82 year old who doesn't yet have trouble with a lot of stairs and carrying suitcases. It wouldn't stop me making a return visit.

Would definitely stay there again! - The owners were so kind and comfortable. they made us feel like it was home even though it was their house. any thing we asked for was given to us with a smile. the food was absolutely marvelous. All homemade and very delicious!! It might be a little noisy at night with the train going by but once you get used to that everything’s OK
