• Marieke (10/5): Geweldige accomodatie op een geweldige plek - We kregen een heel ruim appartement, brandschoon. Het rook ook brandschoon. Iedere 2 dagen werd het gepoetst en kregen we weer frisse heerlijk ruikende handdoeken. Wat ook heel fijn is, is dat je strandhanddoeken krijgt! De locatie is fantastisch. Je zit op nog geen 5min lopen van 3 prachtige baaitjes. Overdag wordt het redelijk druk maar in de ochtend en namiddag heb je ze (in het laagseizoen) zowat voor jezelf. Onder het appartement zit direct een supermarkt wat ook heel handig is. Alle basics zijn aanwezig in het appartement. Hele goede wifi. Enige was dat wij naar het verkeerde, gebruikte appartement gewezen waren bij aankomst door een miscommunicatie. Echter hierdoor een vele mooiere kamer terug gekregen dus dat is super opgelost.
• Sinead (8/5): Lovely spot for a couple's getaway - Very friendly and responsive staff, fantastic location right by two beaches, lovely balcony overlooking the coast, and close to the monastery for sunset. Small touches like beach towels and welcome snacks much appreciated. Had all the essentials and we had a lovely stay overall. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the walls were paper thin. Grateful we were there out of season as when someone came next door for a night you could hear everything.

• Marie (10/5): - The accommodation was perfect, a short walk from the beach. Basically right next door there is a supermarket and a restaurant. There was water and a small snack (crossaint) waiting for us in the fridge which made us very happy. We were also pleased with the umbrella we could take to the beach. The check in instructions were easy to understand, overall quick communication. The owners were very nice and friendly. They helped and advised us with everything. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back sometime! 😊❤️

Nello studio c' era tutto il necessario per la vacanza, persino ombrellone e teli mare! Abbiamo passato una bella e rilassante vacanza. Alexandros poi ci ha permesso un late check out dato che avevamo l' aereo alla sera. È stato perfetto! Grazie. Nulla
• Vendula (10/5): - Naprosto skvělé ubytování. Vše krásně čisté a voňavé, pokoj se uklízí každý druhý den, dostanete i čisté voňavé ručníky. Komunikace s majitelkou skvělá, okamžitě odpovídala. Vybavení super,nic nám nechybělo.Trouba, sporák, konvice,nádobí..Výhled z balkonu krásný, na pláž je to pár kroků. Pod ubytováním pizzerie a obchod. Za mě top ubytování.

• Hannah (10/5): Beautiful location, spacious apartment, great view of the sunset - The apartments location is amazing, right by 3 beaches and also 5-15 min walk from a few other beaches too. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with the right kitchen supplies for making food and coffee. There is a supermarket right next to the apartment which is useful too. Amazing view of the sunset from the balcony. The apartment is also near lots of lovely restaurants and tavernas. We had a hire car so got to explore so many beautiful places nearby, but there are also good bus connections from outside the apartment if you do not hire a car. The check in process was easy and information was explained well too It would be good if guests could have beach towels refreshed once during their stay. We stayed for 8 nights and made sure to air dry our towels every evening but of course after a while they get quite sandy and salty and sometimes don’t dry properly either when you are going to the beach every day. This is just one very minor thing and everything else was perfect! Or I would recommend to pack an extra towel :-)

• Akos (10/5): Jó szállás, szép kilátás, jó helyen. - Nagyon elégedettek voltunk. Előzetesen megkaptuk az infókat a bejutáshoz, ami könnyítette a megérkezést, illetve tanácsokat a helyszín kapcsán. A parkolás az utcán ingyenes, ha a hely elfogy, a közelben fizetős parkolóban is meg lehet állni. A szállás közel van a strandhoz, kisbolt és éttermek is elérhetőek pár lépés távolságban. Mi a 17es szobát kaptuk meg. Az apartman méretre kiváló, felszereltség tekintetében szuper, az ágy kényelmes, a klíma jól működik. A szúnyoghálókért plusz pontot is adnék :D A szállás nagyon tiszta, és az ottlétünk alatt 2 naponta takarítottak (ezért ezúton is köszönet). A kilátást említettem? mert ha nem, akkor azt is említeném: kiváló. -

Помешкання одразу на пляжі . Поряд автобусна зупинка. Повернулись ще. Сам пляж не дуже чистий немає туалетів і де змити пісок на ногах, але море перериває всі недоліки

• Yaman (10/5): We enjoyed the stay in the Astacos Studios apartment and can absolutely recommend it. - The apartment is located between 3 very beautiful beaches to which we had a nice view from the balcony. The walking distance to the beaches is 5 mins, the walking distance to the monastery hill across is 10-15 mins. It is good to know that almost all other hotels or apartments in Paleokastritsa are located up the hill, whereas the Astacos studios are closeby the beaches at sea level. The Green Bus station is right in front of the apartment for traveling from/to Korfu town if you are not in by car. The apartment has everything you need, kitchen is equipped to make coffee, salad or small dishes. The apartment was clean and the diligent room service every 2 days was absolutely sufficient. The communication with owner and staff was uncomplicated with seamless check-in/check-out procedure. There are plenty opportunities to rent boats or for boat trips in walking distance, same as several tavernas and a very close-by supermarket. Location is also ideal if you want to explore northwest coast by hiking. The bed creaked a bit, which can be a bit disturbing if you are not alone, but was yet comfortable enough for a good sleep.

• Helena Morais (9/5): O horizonte azul e a hospitalidade sincera pintaram a estadia de cores que não se esquecem - Em Astacos Studios encontrei mais do que um alojamento: encontrei um lugar onde o mar estava à distância de um passo, rodeado de uma paisagem maravilhosa, muitos restaurantes em varandas sobre o mar, a preços acessíveis, onde o apartamento, simples e funcional, se tornou no abrigo perfeito, e onde a delicadeza e simpatia das funcionárias iluminou cada dia com gestos de genuína amabilidade. Uma estadia que não se mede em estrelas, mas em memórias. Um lugar para voltar! O único aspeto menos positivo foi a dificuldade em encontrar estacionamento nas imediações. Além disso, reparei que a água do mar naquela zona estava ligeiramente mais fresca (cerca de 1 a 3 graus) em comparação com outras partes da ilha. No entanto, em dias de maré muito agitada nas restantes praias, as de Paleokastritza são o paraíso.

It’s in a perfect location – just a short walk from the main beach, and the view of the lagoon from the windows is great.The apartment is clean and fully equipped with everything you need, including a kitchen with all the essentials. The family who manages the apartment was very kind and welcoming. As soon as the room was cleaned, they let me check in early, which I really appreciated after the trip.

The room was very spacious, bright, and incredibly clean — it felt more like a small apartment than a studio. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is amazing — just a short walk to the beautiful beaches and close to everything you might need: supermarkets, restaurants, and even bus stops are all within easy reach. It's the ideal base for exploring Paleokastritsa and the surrounding area. The hosts Eleni and Alexandron were exceptional – very kind, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. Communication was smooth from the beginning, and I truly felt welcome and well taken care of. If you're looking for a peaceful and convenient place to stay in Corfu, Astacos Studio is a perfect choice. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the island! -

• Nawaz (5/5): If you only want to have room near to beach. - Near to beach The bed is very poor. It is not feasible for two people and a child. The bed screws are very loose so be prepared for whole night with uncomfortable sleep. If you want to have room near to beach and restaurant than its okay otherwise not recommended. The kitchen had no baking papers where you can cook some food in the oven.

The location is near a supermarket, restaurants and most importantly a great swimming beach. We stayed before peak holiday season so during the day the village was busy, but at night it was peaceful and relaxing

• Simon (1/5): Only suitable for Smokers! The whole premises smelt of cigarette smoke. - Close to the beach. We were offered the use of the roof, to avoid the cigarette smoke; but this is just above the smokers balconies and dangerous for us to access with food or drink. The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful. We booked a “Non-smoking room” only to find ourselves surrounded by habitual smokers. No sea breeze can be appreciated; the dense smoke not only made using the balcony impossible, but we had to keep the door closed to minimise smoke invasion. Even with the doors closed we could still smell cigarettes - we spent most of our time away from the premises. Smoking is encouraged; with ashtrays provided in all rooms and patio areas. There is not a single ‘no smoking’ sign or area. We needed to move our balcony table inside to avoid the smoke. The room was very cramped. The parking is very limited; only the host seems to have a space. There are 6 units and only two very small spaces available opposite. We delivered our luggage and needed to use a neighbours garden to turn our car; before transferring to paid parking. If you are lucky to get one of the free places you will be parked up against a fence with only one side of the vehicle accessible. You risk getting your vehicle damaged in the narrow lane. Parking in the public carpark is Euro 5 per stay. It mounts up and it can be full during the middle of the day (we stayed in May). I believe that Parking and access will be a challenge during the summer months.

The instructions from the owner were really clear so we knew exactly where to go & how to open the door. ( This doesn't always happen in my experience.) The studio was really clean, plenty of hot water and a good shower in a good sized glass cubicle. We first went to Corfu 40 yrs ago and things have really improved.

It’s just off the beach, the property is well equipped with everything you could need including a beach towel, beach umbrella and lots of kitchen utensils. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I hadn’t realised how bit Paleokastria is and so felt very lucky to be just by the beach and not 200m up a steep hill! Nothing :)

• Ligori (8/5): Alright - The room was thoughtfully equiped, it had everything including iron, toast, oven, etc. The bed was very comfortable, it had 2 types of pillows as per your preference. The room was spotlessly clean and they came to clean it every second day. The people managing it were polite and meticulous and they tried to help us when I got sick and was looking for a farmacy and doctor on a sunday night. The only two things I didn’t like were first the location, it was too touristy, a lot of mass tourism. I read on the internet that Paleokastritsa is very good location but maybe we came in the wrong season. This place is beautiful but you need to come in off season. Secondly, we asked for clean beach towels, the ladies gave us once and when we asked again they were not impressed and complained in greek about it but in the end they gave me clean towels for the second time. Shortly after, the owner messaged me saying that they change the beach towel once a week because they are short of towels. It was uncomfortable for us to use the same beach towel everyday for the rest of our stay because we went in different beaches and they get dirty from using them in different sunbeds and they would be still wet the next morning. I have travelled in many places and even places which are less expensive offer clean beach towels everyday because it is a matter of hygene and they are not expensive to buy after all! Overall the experience was not bad

Thank you for make my 3 days the most amazing .Paleokastritsa monastery and Monestri restaurant just a short walk from accommodation .beautiful nature and beautiful beaches . I went up to Lakones village walking by dunkeys old pass . Easy to find it from the Astacos studio .Lakones view to whole Paleokastritsa is just out of this world Nothing

• Ana (9/5): Great place to stay with kids. We had 3 rooms on the same floor and they all had an amazing view! Definitely would recom - Loved the proximity to the water and restaurants. I have vertigo so walking up a flight of step stairs was not enjoyable but was doable. Can’t get around step stairs in Greece.
• Paul (10/5): We had a fantastic few days at Astacos and would recommend this place to stay if you visit Paleokastritsa - The appartment was spacious, clean had everything you need. The bathroom was amazing ….great shower and we had a very good sized bedroom with a lovely comfortable bed. Outside there was a table and chairs and two sun loungers. Nothing
