• Roman (10/5): - It is a secluded and cozy place in a quite district not far from the Marina beach.
• Maali (6/5): Not great, not terrible - The hosts were great and super helpful people who I see are really trying to make this accommodation business work, which I admire. They let me check-out later which I'm really thankful for. The best part for me was the bed which had super comfy thick(!) blanket and good pillows so the sleeping spot was very nice. The tall ceilings of the place made it more spatious and I always prefer it that way. The wifi was good throughout the stay and very reliable. The toilet was very cleavery built-in to the room. There was a big wardrobe where clothes could be hanged and also the hanger on the wall was very useful. There is a gas stove that you can use to make a warm meal. There was reliable electricity and good lighting in the room. There are plates, some cutlery (no knives tough) and few mugs so you can eat in the room. It was very convenient to open the door's window to let some air in and see some sunshine. There are so many errors I could point out but since the hosts are great people, I don't want to ruin their effort but on the other hand I don't want potential guests to be mislead (like I was). I always stay in accommodations that have at least 8/10 rating and this place...doesn't live up to it in the current condtion it is at all. My biggest problems were the shower and the refrigerator. The showerhead's cord is so broken that the water doesn't even reach the showerhead so the idea of a good wash there isn't doable. I turned on the refrigerator when I arrived and put my food into it; I saw that there was a freezer section in the fridge but since it didn't have a "door", I thought it wasn't working. The next day I opened the fridge all my food was freezed and I had to throw all my fruit (and some other food) away which I never do because I hate to waste food. This was really upsetting to me since I was on a budget and didn't have time to go food shopping again as I had busy days in Limassol. Why didn't I leave some of the food out? Because there was an ant trail in the room and using the fridge seemed only way to keep the food edible. There are also 2 doors shared with the next door guests so it depends on their behaviour how quiet or not quiet your stay is going to be. Only way a natural light comes in the room is through the door's glass. Only place to sit in the room is the bed. All in all there are many-many things to fix/better to make this place worthy of a rating that is above 7 when you come from (more) developed part of Europe (but could be an oasis from people from poorer countries as there is water, electricity and a place to sleep).
