Guest Reviews
- Zona (7/5): Pleasant stay in Cambridge. - Location was great, not in the centre, but this was fine, and only a short taxi ride into the centre.
The hot-tub and outside area was lovely, a nice addition.
Property had nice bedrooms and bathroom.
I contacted the owner on our arrival, and issues were dealt with really quickly. There were a couple of issues, I contacted the owner and these were dealt with.
The cleaner required some further training which was being done following our visit so shouldn't be an issue in the future, but they left previous occupants towels in the bathroom, and no hand towel. The fan had no cable (it was 30+ with 3 of in the bungalow), this was rectified and we had 2 new fans by the time we returned from dinner (thank you for such quick action), where the towels were also taken away. We did have fresh towels left on the bed though.
There were a couple of other things which I contacted the owner about, and received a response which was appreciated.
- Guest (2/5): - I was very disappointed with this property. From the moment we arrived, it was dirty and poorly maintained. The place had not been cleaned properly—there was leftover food in the kitchen pantry, spilled noodles, and dust everywhere. We had to call the host immediately, and only then did someone come to clean. Even so, the overall condition was unacceptable. My wife ended up cleaning parts of the place herself because it was so dirty, both inside and outside.
The sofa was filthy with cigarette burns, and the outdoor couch was covered in dirt, cobwebs, and spiders. The entire property felt neglected and far from what we expected for the price. Sadly, I would not stay here again and do not consider it good value for money.
- Stephen (3/5): Not Deluxe - Location was in walking distance to Cambridge. Off the road parking was good. Deluxe bungalow this isn't! Given the wrong code and turned out we needed two different codes. Property was filthy - poo in the toilet on arrival, no toilet roll provided, food left in cupboards going mouldy, oven was disgusting and not safe to cook in. Hot tub had a layer of dirt and bits floating in it.

- Mohammed (10/5): Really enjoyed family BBQ - Nice and private, good BBQ facilities Beds could be a bit more comfortable.
- Anonymous (3/5): Very disappointing. - Good location. Comfy beds. Hair dryer. Outside space. Upon arrival everything looked great but the longer we stayed (two nights), the more disappointed we became. We had to park in the road as both parking spaces were occupied & they were occupied for the duration. Originally there was supposed to be four of us, but one had to drop out due to ill health. Luckily for us there were only 3 forks.... Not all of the kitchen utensils were properly cleaned. When we ate our dinner outside we noticed the patio had not been swept, the ashtray was full & the BBQ not clean. We then went to get into the hot tub, but there was only one wine glass so two of us had to use tumblers. There were no hooks for towels. The ceiling was moudly & there was a damp smell. Two of us got in but the tub completely overflowed. We decided to phone the owner who said to just put some towels down & to go to the main house (which was a student house & would be therefore unlocked) to help ourselves to wine glasses which we weren't happy about so chose not to do that. He also told us the hot tub was only meant for two people, yet the accommodation is for four people?! As we had six towels (one each for shower & one each for hot tub) we used two throws to soak up the water but the floor was still drenched. Upon showering there is only one temperature & that is scolding hot so none of us felt we'd had a proper wash nor were we able to wash our hair. The towels were also very small & the handwash dispenser had not been refilled. There was also no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything from.
One redeeming quality was upon our arrival back to the accommodation after our day out in Cambridge a box of wine glasses & a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us which we did appreciate.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Troinikova (8/5): Very good - In hot tub area no towel hangers.
- Amirun (8/5): Very good - The jacuzzi was amazing, and the beds were very comfortable! Thank you for a wonderful stay The BBQ grill could do with a cleab, but other than that the place was lovely.
- Joan (5/5): Passable -
- Dawn (8/5): Great bungalow, 15 mins to Centre by bus - Excellent had everything (apart from teaspoons) 2 bedrooms, hot tub, garden furniture & bbq Hadn’t been cleaned but bed linen was clean
- Daragh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Szymon (8/5): Lovely location and great atmosphere - The location was ideal - not too far from the city centre and the accommodation was very comfortable I had to top up the boiler as it had a fault on arrival and there was a few scorch marks on the sofa
The hot tub although good I had no idea how to turn off so I assume it’s always on?
- Hayley (7/5): Average - Nice layout. Kitchen had all utensils.good location Only 1 parking space- not the promised 2.
Shower wasn't good- difficult regulating temperature and large crack in shower base.
Hot tub was nice but nowhere to hang towels so floor got soaked. Slippery flooring.
I felt it was overpriced.
- Simon (5/5): Nice place but bathroom needs sorting out. - Property was good and easy to find. Hottie was lovely to come back to after a night. Bathroom could do with some sorting out. The toilet seat moved around and was broken. The shower tray had a massive crack in the middle of it where you wanted to stand. The shower itself had no temperature control so was like trying to shower under a kettle! Only to hand shower head worked , shower really let it down as you expect to be able to have a nice shower for £320 a night.
- Maheer (10/5): Fantastic little place with a lovely private jacuzzi - Very clean and neat. Jacuzzi was private and indoors which was nice. Very close to city centre. Properly at the back of a house but very far back and secluded. Great parking in the too, parking in the drive and also on the road.
- Colleen (10/5): fab meet up with friends - was the perfect little space for friends to meet up and have a catch up!
excellent use of the outdoor area!
super comfy beds
grateful for the bottles of water floor by the hot tub can become very slippy when wet
- Kevin (7/5): Good - It was clean tidy and compact Didn't like the location. In the back garden of a row of houses
- Kazim (9/5): Fantastic place for a couple!! - Was a nice property, couldn’t really complain the shower works fine people just couldn’t work out the controls to use it properly so ignore the reviews regarding no cold water! It’s very private great hot tub great garden area!
They have clearly tried to listen to any reviews i and address any concerns people gave in their feedback I’d really be nit picking
- David (10/5): Great weekend in the bungalow - Clean tidy
- Carol (9/5): Lovely annexe - Only a 10 mi drive to the city centre, it is very quiet, comfy beds, very clean , jaquzzi was lovely would return 😀 👌 Could do with hooks on the bedroom and bathroom doors, and also in the jaquzzi room.
- Rita (10/5): We came here for a get away for my partner birthday. So relaxing and the hot tub was lovely. Everything you need is here - It was so clean , very peaceful
- Anne (8/5): Perfect for a few days sightseeing - Lovely little bungalow hidden away in a quiet suburb . Walking distance to Town ( about 40 mins walk ) . Comfortable beds and well equipped , with parking on the vicinity . Nothing
- Nor (9/5): Superb -
- Keily (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect space for 3 friends to catch up, really comfy beds! Great outdoor area. Plenty of parking available.
- Julie (8/5): Lovely place to stay. - Very nice place. Nice hot tub and outdoor area and nicely done. Beds very comfy and tvs in both bedrooms nice touch. Everything required for our stay. Very quiet and clean. We couldn't get the temperature in the shower to regulate so the water was scolding hot. Only two coat hangers so couldn't hang clothes up.
- Nikita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (8/5): Lovely staycation location, would definitely book again - Loved the house, it was furnished beautifully, had everything we needed and really was super comfortable. Very comfy beds, kitchen gadgets were great and it was all very clean. Beautiful little courtyard with heaters and comfy chairs and a bbq. Really lovely location and only a 40 minute walk into the centre which we enjoyed! Our only real criticisms were around the hot tub. It wasn’t heated for our arrival so by the time it was hot enough to actually use we lost a whole day of our weekend trip. Also the room the hot tub is in has some pretty bad damp on the ceiling which didn’t smell very pleasant and looked very off putting. And also there were no non-slip mats down on the floor which was quite dangerous as the floor got quite wet and slippery.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy, lovely hot tub and outside space. Helped with early check in which was much appreciated after a long drive.
- Wesley (10/5): Nice stay! - Lovely small place, very private, good facilities Perhaps some instructions on the hot tub would have been useful but otherwise great!
- Abigail (8/5): lovely, comfortable accommodation. good location - Good location & lovely accommodation. Would benefit from coat hangers, hand towels, dish cloth & plastic glasses.
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
