• Roman (5/5): - Schlüssel für Raum 1 war nicht in Box, Vermieter reagierte nicht, Reklamation bei booking, danach wurde alternatives Schlüsselfach angegeben, wo auch ein Schlüssel enthalten war, der passte nicht, weil er für das ursprüngliche Zimmer war, BEIDE Zimmer waren belegt, ein Zimmer wurde auf meine Intervention geräumt, ein Bett war bereits genutzt worden. Ich habe den Verdacht, dass hier ohne Wissen von Booking jnd des Vermieters unter der Hand Zimmer verschoben werden.

I passed the bank account details but reimbursement never arrived. I visit and book Saarbrucken regularly, I'll need to look for another accom.

Der Notruf reagierte erst nach längerer Zeit und wir mussten die Tür schließlich mit eigener Kraft aufdrücken. Für meine schwerbehinderte Reisebegleitung war dies eine enorme Belastung. Hier muss die Technik dringend geprüft werden. ​Parksituation & Kosten: 🚗💸 Es gibt keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze. Öffentliche Plätze sind zeitlich begrenzt und die Parkhäuser in Saarbrücken sehr teuer. Ein günstiger Zimmerpreis kann sich dadurch schnell relativieren. Wir hatten nur durch einen defekten Automaten (nach Rücksprache mit der Politesse) Glück. ​Hellhörigkeit: 👂 Die Zimmer sind leider sehr hellhörig, man bekommt viel von den Nachbarn mit. ​Service-Kommunikation: Auf meine persönliche Nachricht zu dem Vorfall im Fahrstuhl gab es leider keine Rückmeldung, was ich sehr schade fand.
• Felix (1/5): The worst choice - The only positive point was that when taking a bath, the water was warm. Thanks to booking.com, to whom I could talk to when no one is responsible there. Nothing was as expected. Could enter the place with a lot of difficulties, the door key's quality was bad, you could hear your neighbo'stalk easily, as if they were near you. It should also be called smoky residence not music residence, as the room had only the smelling of smoke, even though it was not allowed to smoke. In addition, no one is responsible there and you get hardly any responses from the person called "Responsible". Very hard to talk to someone in case of problems 🫥🫥 Why should such places stay in booking.com as a choice? Someone with more care about the property should be called responsible. My worst experience, I can call it.

Mur fin avec des voisins de chambre bourré a toquer au mur toute la nuit, c'est pas agréable du tout ... ensuite payer pour 4 personnes une chambre mais avoir 2 petites couvertures et 2 oreillers pour 2 lits double c'était super, une personne sur deux n'avait rien ... sans compter 3 serviettes sur 4 ... bref a éviter, pour quelques euros de plus, 500m plus bas à h2 hôtel, un bien meilleur confort avec petit déjeuner compris et surtout un oreiller et couverture chacun. Franchement extrêmement déçu voir même je me sent arnaquer !!!

• Crista (7/5): Basic accommodation - I am staying here regularly when I have weekend classes in Saarbruken - due to the proximity to the school. The rooms are usually clear, the heating works and there is warm water. The internet was not functioning and was fixed on the second day.

Il faut pouvoir appeler et sans parler anglais c'est très compliqué. À notre arrivée 1 des chambres n'était pas faite et nous n'avons pas pu nous en servir on a dû dormir à 2 dans 1 lit alors que c'était un voyage pro ! J'ai envoyé un mail pour signaler et à ce jour je n'ai eu aucune réponse !!

• Jessica (8/5): Simple but all you need :) - I felt safe here. The location is good, not far from the bus station. The bathroom, kitchen and lounge were clean and spacious. The directions to get into the property were very helpful and when I came across an issue it was easy to telephone the host.

• Andi (6/5): - Nähe zum Bahnhof, die Putzfrau ist freundlich, macht jeden Tag sauber Es ist eine WG mit 4 Zimmern und 1 gemeinschaftsbad. Könnte manchmal etwas eng werden. Aber viel schlimmer ist, 30 % der anderen Gäste sind richtig dumm und rücksichtslos, machen Lärm, schauen zu laute Handyvideos, rauchen auch mal unerlaubterweise, patschen die Türe zu, etc.
• Edgar (9/5): Nette, ordentliche Unterkunft mit allem, was nötig ist. - Alles war wie erwartet mit dem zu erwartenden Komfort, Alles sauber, ordentlich und gut gepflegt. Die Umgebung scheint im Umbruch mit viel Restaurierungsarbeiten, wird dieses Stadtgebiet in Zukunft sicherlich aufwerten. Das Gemeinschaftsbad mit Toilette ist etwas klein und die Beleuchtung könnte hier besser sein. Parken des eigenen Autos war auf Grund der vielen Straßenbaustellen sehr erschwert: Das wird sicherlich, wenn die Bauarbeiten fertig sind, wieder einfacher.

• Crista (10/5): Basic, unpretentious accommodation - Basic accommodation, I have been there several times as I take classes in the proximity. Clean, clear instructions, functioning wifi. As long as all you need is an unpretentious room, this residence fits the bill.

Missing a drying machine, need to get creative to dry your clothes, coffee maker doesn't have the required equipment to be used, water boiler is kinda broken, missing a little bit of cooking equipment.

• Karen (10/5): The Music Residence hits the right notes - I visit Saarbrücken frequently to visit my Aunt. This means I am out of the property most of the day, so paying for fancy suites is not what I wish to do. However, that does not mean, I don't want comfort, quality, and cleanliness. The Music Residence offers all this, plus the kitchen is resourced much better than many unshared Air BnB places I have stayed in and paid three times the price for. The location also is perfect for me as my Aunt lives around the corner, however it is ideal for anyone; being mere minutes walk from the station and city centre, but without the attendant noise of being in the actual centre. - and believe me that is noisy. I was worried about sharing a bathroom and kitchen but it is not a problem at all. There are only four apartments using the facilities and all have been quiet and courteous, keeping the place tidy. The presence of a cleaner everyday means the place is beautifully clean. I will definitely be back again N/A

But you'll sort of be on your own - -Excellent-value accommodation in a good location in Saarbrücken -Walking distance from the train station and downtown, and one block from a decent discount supermarket -Big room, good bathroom and kitchen, and a very quiet space with lots of natural light -Excellent wifi and great hot water in the shower -Daily cleanings of the common areas by the friendly cleaning staff keep things super tidy -The music theme of the guesthouse is quite charming, too. -Very poor communication with the host - Replies would take a day or more, and some messages were never replied to. With no staff onsite - aside from, occasionally, the cleaning staff - this was a major inconvenience. -No explanation provided on the use of the dishwasher or laundry machine.

• Martino (9/5): Very pleasant place, great value. Easy to walk there from the central train station. - Self check-in, the digital thermostat in the room. Quiet, super clean. One bathroom for 3 rooms could be crowded, but was not during my stay. Kitchen had coffee-making equipment, but no coffee, which surprised me a bit. The rooms have very few electrical outlets, but that's a problem of the building, I suppose.
• Denisa (2/5): Completely ureliable accommodation, never again - This was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Upon opening the designated mailbox, I found no key. After several attempts to reach staff, I learned my room had been double-booked. After waiting 40 minutes outside in February, an employee finally arrived and placed me in another unit within the same building. However, instead of the large double room I had booked, I was given a small single room. I had multiple business and personal meetings in Saarbrücken and a packed schedule. I missed my first meeting due to check-in issues but hoped things would go smoothly afterward—wrongly so. At 10 PM, just as I was about to sleep, I received messages from the employee, realizing my booking was for three nights but telling me I couldn’t stay in this room for the last two. Close to midnight, we agreed he would bring a new key at 7:30 AM for a room switch. The room was extremely noisy, making sleep really difficult. A kitchen next door had a loud fan that turned on with the light. After this sleepless night, I would have preferred to try to sleep a bit longer and take a bus to my meeting instead of walking as planned but had to get up early for the room change. When the employee arrived, no new room was available. Instead, I was told I was only allowed to store my belongings in another unit. With a permanent smile, he denied ever promising me another room in the morning, even though his messages explicitly mentioned a key handover and room change at 7:30 AM. Without breakfast and unable to finish my work, I refused to be thrown out. Eventually, I was allowed to stay in the single room and get ready, but a cleaner had to move my belongings around later. The stress of potentially missing another meeting because of accommodation issues was overwhelming. The employee noticed my frustration and offered compensation, agreeing to refund the first night. Of course, I never received the money. But the chaos continued. After my meeting, I intended to return to the accommodation before the next meeting, but had neither instruction how to get a key to the new room, nor what to do with the key from the single room. I had to interrupt my tight schedule again, calling and messaging staff just to figure out how to enter the room in which I was supposed to be staying already the second day. Sending me this information proactively was apparently too much effort. Also, just for reference: The Music Residenz has only one bathroom, which includes the only toilet and the staff’s washing machine. If cleaning is in progress, you can neither shower nor use the toilet. This accommodation is utterly unreliable, the rooms extremely noisy (like an elephant stampede when someone rolls a suitcase), and the staff, oblivious to how much stress and trouble their mismanagement caused me, even criticized me for not being "friendly enough" after two days of constant problems. So, if you have no plans in Saarbrücken, don’t mind paying for a double room only to be given a single, waiting 40 minutes in the cold due to key issues, dealing with room changes that only mean storing your stuff elsewhere, sleeping poorly due to thin walls and a loud kitchen fan, and never receiving promised compensation—then this place might be just perfect for you. Just make sure you can keep a smile on your face no matter what. I, however, will never return.

• Dalila (8/5): Very good - The location is quite good, the fact that they have the possibility of renting a space to leave the car safely in the park is a big bonus. The kitchen is large and has all the necessary equipment for cooking, I will probably make use of them next time. The apartment is cleaned every day, so just pay attention to your dishes and everything will stay clean for everyone. The mattress is not very bad but it could be a better one, in my room the mattress was from springs and that it is not very comfortable, also they could have a drier machine for clothes or a drying rack, to be more easy to dry the clothes. and in the kitchen the cutlery like forks and spoons are just 3 so it makes it difficult to managed when you have the all apartment full.
• Kasim (10/5): Great service and overall experience - It was very clean and welcoming, unique design features with vinyl discs and rooms named after legends in the music industry. A shared kitchen allows for cooking proper meals, if wanted. The personnel was reachable for any troubles and even an early check-in was made possible. Overall, everything was great. Having to share a bathroom with all residents was kind of unexpected, but not a problem at all.

• Crista (9/5): Practical for a short stay - I found the check-in instructions clear, I had no trouble getting to the room. The rooms are former offices turned into bedrooms - seems to be working fine if the neighbors are quiet. The room, as well as the common spaces, were very clean. Bring your own slippers, the whole floor has a beautiful parquet (slippers are available in the lobby, but maybe you prefer your own). I spent two nights, being there for a course in the neighborhood - I basically just slept there. No hairdryer (but it is mentioned in the description). Also no shower gel/shampoo, just towels provided. The washing machine was broken - i did not need it but might be good to check beforehand if you are staying longer and you planned to do laundry.

• Matt (8/5): Very good - Convenient location in the town center. Large airy room with large windows that opened. Large common kitchen with fridge and all amenities. Very clean and quiet. It was a little difficult to get into the shared bathroom in the mornings. With several guests and no way to know if the bathroom is occupied besides trying the bathroom door, that can be a problem.
