Guest Reviews
- Arora (10/5): Riversong Bliss Truly Lives Up to Its Name - My stay at Riversong Bliss was genuinely memorable. The property sits right opposite the river, and waking up to that view every day felt incredibly peaceful. One of my favourite parts was their riverside café, where you can simply sit for hours listening to the sound of the water and forget the rush of everyday life.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, and the hospitality made the experience even better. A special mention to Deep for being such a warm and welcoming host, Manish for the delicious food, and Maya, the sweetest dog on the property, who somehow becomes your friend almost instantly.
The entire place carries a rare sense of calm that’s hard to find anymore. Definitely a stay I’d love to come back to. 🌿 Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like was having to leave and return to regular life after such a peaceful stay.

- Arnav (1/5): No electricity - The dogs outside the property We arrived under torrid conditions after driving for 10 hours. There was construction going on. The electricity wasn't there. No water was provided in room. Property attendee did not know how to charge card from booking.com. We were melting in the heat. Fans also weren't working. The attendee told us that he had not noticed our booking and had gone ahead with renovations on our date of booking. He told us it was better to cancel booking and go somewhere else. I hope this was a one time experience with bad luck on our side but the entire experience was painful.

- Daberao (1/5): - There is NOTHING to like about this particular stay because they DO NOT HAVE THE BASIC FACILITIES. There is NOTHING to like about this particular stay because they DO NOT HAVE THE BASIC FACILITIES like clean beds, rooms have fire ants all over the floor and ceiling, room/bed smells like old & mouldy. NO party vibes, False Promises on photos, No Parking for Car, Stay is very tough to access, it is under the bridge side and it's tough to approach
- KUNDAPUR (7/5): -
- MANIKA (5/5): - Availability of drinking water 1.The stay is quite far away from the actual beach.
2. The room was really small and nothing like the photo shown in the post.,I hurt myself at a leg stand of the bed while moving, I mean the room was that small.
3. They did not have a cealing fan instead had a fixed rotating fan that caused too noise, although after request it was replaced by a stand fan but why should I have to take the pain.
4. The room had no ventilation and the seating place as shown in the post was of a cafe run by them, It's only accessible when you buy food from drinks from them.
5. Overall it wasn't worth the price, there are lot better options just beside the beach in this price.

- John (4/5): Not for me , never - Not a lot.The staff are like gold hard to find Intermittent sleep due to noise , need lots of attention to cleanliness, bedding had stains, restaurant menu and table cloths filthy,
Trains noise and dogs barking .
Not for me I would 100% have taken more time reading reviews, but I was on the spot .
Never too return , glad to get out
Poor value.
- Abin (5/5): Average room (not pleasant enough) with a cafe as a view. - Nothing specific, merely close to the river for a view. Far from the main beaches & market, cleanliness of the room ( dampness or moisture smell ), Mosquitos.
- Yatin (10/5): Real Goa :) - Everything Nothing
- Keertish (10/5): - The location and cafe is the USP...peaceful and mesmerising view of the Talpona river. Nothing as of such
- Mayur (8/5): -

3. Near By to Beach
4. Lake View 1. Rooms : Could be better
2. Location : It's good if you want to be at isolated place.
3. Facilities in the Room : No proper dressing table ( Not even a proper table)
4. Tap water flow very slow
- Giulia (3/5): - Tanti Rumori di notte, stanza caldissima, se si aprivano le finestre entravano zanzare

- KM (8/5): - Great location and polite staff Washroom
- RK DISCOVERING INDIA (10/5): Calm & Peaceful Experience - I had a wonderful experience while staying here. Earlier, I was staying in a hostel near Palolem Beach, which was very noisy & people were doing parties all the time. One day, while checking other properties, I saw this property, and the location was near Talpona Beach & next to a river. I already rented a scooty here in Palolem, so the location was not a bar with me. I came to this property & as soon as I entered their cafe area, which was just next to a river, it was totally bliss & I understood why this property name is "Riversong Bliss." It was a very relaxing experience. The dorm & washroom were very clean, and the bed was comfy. The host was kind enough to share me details about what to see around & it was surprising to see that it's been 5 years since I was coming to South Goa, but I never experienced those suggested places. Cafe has Mexican food, which was authentic & bowl was very good. I can recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a peaceful vibe. Palolem Beach is just 10 minutes by scooty, so you can choose when you want to do a party & when you want some 'me' time. Will come back soon to stay longer ❤️
- Aditya (9/5): - Great location and cafe with a beautiful view
- Madhav (9/5): will go again without hesitation - one of the best location to stay in south goa
- Abhilash (10/5): -
- Keny (10/5): I had a wonderful time, The location was perfect for exploring beaches, and the breakfast was Tasty - I Really Like the place, its located next to the Talpona River. the view from the cafe is mesmerizing, The riverside cafe is the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee or a chilled beer, with the sound of flowing water and birdsong in the background.
- Sanat (10/5): Worth it - Had an absolute Wonderful & short stay at this Hotel with my wife while touring coastal part of india! The rooms were immaculately clean, The owner DEEP warmly welcomes us, and the scenic views were breathtaking. The hotel's serene ambiance and excellent amenities made our travel experience truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!. 5/5 ⭐ Electricity fluctuation
- Pankaj (8/5): Very good -
- Abin (7/5): Good -
- Rahul (9/5): Nice , comfy , Serene. I would recommend others - This property is in a serene location , the riverside cafe is the main attraction. Talpona beach is also very close. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The Cafe was not fully functional, I know that is just a timing issue.
- Kunal (10/5): Exceptional - If you're looking to unwind and embrace the art of slow living, this hostel is your perfect escape! The vibe here is effortlessly chill—think cozy hammocks, warm bonfires, and friendly faces from all over the world. The communal spaces invite you to relax, read, or just daydream while sipping on a cup of coffee. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you leave feeling refreshed and inspired. Highly recommend for anyone craving a break from the hustle and bustle!
- Amritha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathew (8/5): Had a great stay, wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the location. A 15 min walk to the cafes on Tapona beach or a 400rup tuktuk ride to Pallolem or Patnem. Loved the Sunday art class! A bit close to the railway line which didn’t bother me at all but might disturb young children.
- Teja (10/5): A budget stay away from crowd - The location is away from all crowded places, attached with the riverside cafe we spent most of our time their in the afternoon escaping the sun. Dorms where neat and good enough space for all. Non Ac dorm has a common bathroom outside. It was bit difficult for females to use them, good we had 2 beds booked in AC dorm which had attached bathroom.
- Inayath (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gujar (9/5): Superb -
- Urvesh (8/5): Very good -
- Ruchira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdalla (1/5): Bad -
- Franziska (4/5): Would not recommend - Closest beach is rather quiet, very nice change to busy palolem! Lots of board games and bicycles as well as scooters for rent directly at the hostel. Manager was kind enough to show me a traditional Indian game and drop me off at the bus station. It’s far away! What you may save on accommodation cost you spend on transport getting there and around. At least bicycles should be for free when staying here! 15-20 min walk to nearest cafe/beach. No breakfast offered. WiFi didn’t reach the dorm and no reception for own internet. No hooks or whatsoever in the bathroom to hang anything. Room wasn’t really clean, sink showed same dust particles at the end of my stay as at the beginning. AC Room had a weird smell, probably because it never gets aired…
- Sireesha (8/5): Very good -
- Ajay (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice property. Perfect location , calm and peacefully stay!
- Wolfgang (10/5): Exceptional - The place itself is very good and clean, staff are friendly and accommodating, nice bar facing the river! All in all a very nice place, but you should rent a motorbike 😍😍😍😍
- Ankit (1/5): worst experience of stay - nothing to like about. whole staff and management is pathetic and inexperienced. they do not know how to treat people and especially guests. no cleanliness and no professionalism..... recommended to never stay in this property...it's a waste of money.....major problem is the staff wherein receptionist asked me I cannot sit in the property. it's a complete Chaos. 0/10 rating.
complete staff is mad
- Shubham (10/5): Serene and lovely - The offbeat serene location, hospitality of deep and staff, good food, we loved the tea. It's not the place for you if you are a party person, but who wants to enjoy calm and natural beauty. Nothing that we didn't like, there is too much moisture and lavender room freshener was too strong.
- Shubham (9/5): Superb -
- Mia (9/5): Beautiful, secluded must stay in South Goa - The room was massive, comfortable and incredibly clean. The cafe is adorable and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. There’s a really nice restaurant close by called Zest that does amazing food and has lovely beach bar vibes. If you ask the hostel can organise bikes or mopeds for you to hire for the day at a good price. Would definitely recommend thank you for our stay. The location is a little remote, we loved it but if you want to be able to easily walk to shops and bars it’s probably not for you (the beach and Zest is about a 20/25 min walk, not bad if you bike it). The shower pressure wasn’t great either but not a big issue. We had one slightly bazaar encounter when trying to hire a moped, we had never used one before so asked the man to show us how to use it. When he didn’t we said we didn’t feel comfortable riding it but he insisted we still paid him the full days hire rate even though we hadn’t even used it! He had my passport so we couldn’t argue with him. I should point out he didn’t seem to be one of the hostel managers.
- Ayebi (7/5): Good -
- Anmol (9/5): Superb -
- Khan (9/5): I had a wonderful stay at Riversong Bliss, hosted by Deep Tanasha and Sandy. They were incredibly welcoming and attentiv - The view and the environment of the stay is so fascinating
- Kiran (9/5): Superb -
- Vijendra (8/5): Very good - All things except parking Parking in an open place outside
- Carishma (10/5): the food is good, location is perfect services r superb. - A big thanx to Tanasha, Deep, Sandip and Manik.
All are amazingly kind people at the most amazing place.
- Iyer (9/5): Superb -
- Jasmin (10/5): Peaceful escape - New property so everything is in great condition and the location is so serene. Host was very attentive and has created a great space Nothing
- Sundaravadivelu (10/5): Cozy stay with a breathtaking morning view by the river. Wonderful place with a very friendly and welcoming host. - Very true to the picture. Super clean and well maintained.
- Liston (10/5): Bliss - I stayed in dorm. And I had one of the best experiences of dorm. Cozy and spacious dorm and adding to it individual lockers in the dorm make things easy for anyone. Nothing
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful hostel overlooking the river! Simply sitting outside in the communal space overlooking the river was one of my favourite activities! Super friendly staff, and comfiest beds! Couldn’t recommend more
- Stephen (10/5): Amazing - Ambience is the best thing at the property and rooms are spacious with river view cafe to chill. Deep (host) being the best host, will help with the places to see and things to be done. Nothing
- Langwieder (10/5): Due to travel plans I only stayed 1 night but I really enjoyed that place in that time and I’ll come back to stay longer - The hostel is located beautifully next to a river, which creates a serene atmosphere. It has a common area where one can spend a lovely time with other people. There is seating outside so I spent some time reading a book and enjoying the surrounding. The dorm was super nice, very well equipped, enough storage and clean. There are a lot of details, plants and nice lighting - you can see that someone has put a lot of effort in setting up that place and I felt good and welcome from the first minute on. Last but not least, there are beautiful beaches around and I’ll definitely come back for more exploring. Everything was perfect!
- Goutam (8/5): Excellent offbeat private stay - The location amazing by the riverside with a quiet and comfortable stay Not much to dislike, it will be more fun with the cafe opening soon
- Khek (10/5): Relaxing - Isolated hostel on the riverfront, slow life, chill vibes.
I loved the location. Best place to relax and chill Don't go if you want to party, it's not a party hostel
- Sujoy (10/5): Stay at the most serene part of Goa! - Excellent location with a cafe cum bar on the Talpona riverside, it's located around 750 mts from the sea beach, it's the least crowded part of Goa, very serene beaches nearby, Talpona & Galgibaga beaches being the main attraction along with the river. Very green, everywhere you look at.
The owner, Deep is a very chill guy and is developing this place further. I was the third person to book this place along with two English bikers who were staying in the dormitory. I had a wonderful chat session with them and the owner with a bottle of beer at the riverside cafe. This place is best suited for people who come with their own vehicle, the communication can be a bit challenging at times. However, there are plenty of bike bicycle and cab rentals nearby. The owner gave his personal bicycle and didn't charge me at all.
