Guest Reviews
- debbie (8/5): -
- Chris (9/5): An excellent stay, already looking to book again. - View was spectacular as was the hot tub. 2 bathrooms a bonus. Kitchen facilities generous Phone signal a bit poor, usually only 1 bar.
- Craig (10/5): Staff very friendly. Place was spotless, loads of wildlife - Hut is Everything you need for a short stay. Hot tub is private with views of the surrounding countryside. Bed was a little hard.
- Lucy (10/5): Perfect couple of night get away. - Loved the location, the team on hand and so helpful. The team really are a credit to the place. Everything you need and hot tub was perfect!
- Kim (9/5): Lovely property in beautiful surroundings, very close to Hawes - Very clean, had everything you could need. Nicely decorated and furnished . Good location Nothing to dislike
- Jack (8/5): Overall good - The inductions hobs and table top oven was great, the shower was good The bed was too hard and mattress was too big for the bed frame so slanted slightly over the edge, the bathroom let in the smell of outdoors could’ve done with an air freshener and only having one bin bag wasn’t ideal could’ve done with more to empty the bin.
- lisa (10/5): Great hostesses, they made sure our stay was perfect and it was. - Excellent , clean , comfy, everything you need to live there. There is nothing I didn’t like, I loved it.
- Law (1/5): We didn't stay, we found another residence that was wonderful kept the keys and handed them in on Th - Absolutely nothing. The 2 places we were shown, were not worth the money, they were shocking, health and safety absolutely none, it was disgusting and the steps at Annabels Loft, were dangerous, no safety elements present.
- Joe (10/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely scenery and great location. Lovely loft, well equipped and near to Hewes centre. Fantastic hot tub and comfy bed. The loft was on 3 floors so it was quite difficult to get down the spiral staircases from the top bedroom, right down to the bottom floor where the bathroom was at night. They were safe but you have to be fit and agile!
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Kate (10/5): Perfect location - Comfortable, warm and cosy
- Anne (10/5): Peaceful stay - The view at ‘stagfell 1’ was beautiful. The view of the hills. So peaceful. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. A 5min walk into Hawes. Will book again.

- Tracy (7/5): Small teeeks required to make it a returnable destination - Good location, peaceful Shortage of amenities within the cabin. No storage, no bedside table, no shelving in bathroom for toiletries etc. no salt &. pepper, basics really
- Dent (10/5): Brilliant. - N/A I liked everything about the pod and location.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Quite location, hot tub with privacy
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the location very quiet but near to village to walk Nothing everyrhing was great
- Tom (10/5): Very quiet and our room was secluded the room was big enough for us and the hot tub and hosts are amazing - The hot tub. The privacy. The view This is us being very picky. But in the lodge we stayed in. If you take down the the fence opposite the hot tub so you get to see the whole view from the hot tub. But that is literally us being really picky
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (7/5): Good - The accommodation was great They advertise WIFI ,this was an absolute joke
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brown (8/5): Very confy, cozy and friendly - Was very peaceful and lovely private hot tub was kept very hot and clean If had to list one thing that could be approved would be to have a freezer as well as fridge and maybe an oven or a gas working stove as electric one i couldnt work so ended up heating up meals in microwave
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - A*
- Penny (8/5): Very good - The pod was lovely very clean everything we needed. Mattress seen better days. Would have liked a hot tub.
- Jayne (1/5): Shocking - I’ve stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. We returned wanting to relive those wonderful memories unfortunately it’s been a living hell We had a lodge and pod both advertised with hot tubs. When we got there we was not given a tub with the pond and advised to contact hoseasons. We tried to do this but had no joy as it was New year. Our hot tub was filthy it had to be drained and refilled we was told it was because we didn’t shower before using which we disputed. We couldn’t use the tub for a whole day and night. The usual staff were not on the site the ones who we dealt with Tom’s us the tub was treated every single day even tho on New Year’s Day we didn’t see a single person and we was in all day. The tub wasn’t green from not showering, DO NOT USE THE HOT TUBD AT THIS SITE. My partner got ring worm, two of my children and I have hot tub Folliculitis. (Confirmed by a doctor) because this was booked on here through hoseasons, site sends you to hoseasons, they send you to booking.com. Booking.com are trying to help. Hoseasons are advising to contact the sites insurance! My daughter is on 4 different medicines to try get this under control we left site on the 3rd January. We have all been extremely unwell. It’s appalling, the illness is caused by bacteria in the tub. So in hindsight I’m glad we didn’t get the tub we paid for with the pod.
The pod flooded on NYE staff weren’t very happy to called out, they simply sprayed the leak with adhesive. My partner obviously carried on as the pod was full of chemicals. They did move us to another pod but only after we said about it been unsafe to be in there.
I’ve sent pictures of my daughters skin but site are now ignoring booking.com. I’m taking the matter further as it’s s health hazard to others!
- Andrew (9/5): Perfect accommodation in a perfect location - Comfortable, clean & a great location Nothing
- Ryan (10/5): Lovely stay in Wensleydale - Lovely shepherd's hut, clean. Comfortable and everything you needed Does not have an oven but that's fine. Had everything else
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Very private and peaceful
- Sharon (10/5): One of the best holidays we’ve had. - It was amazing once we had sorted our double booking…it was a good job the site manager knew what she was doing. The lodge we had to pay extra for because of the mix up was exceptional…very happy with our stay and the staff Tina and Alan were absolutely amazing xxx The mix up with the double booking when we arrived was very upsetting.
- Jenny (6/5): Wouldn’t stay again. - Location just a short walk away from Hawes. When this pod was booked it said there was a jacuzzi, but there wasnt.showed the booking information to the manager but she said they are only with the luxury pods.So the information on booking .com is very misleading and should be rectified.Hooks in bathroom way to high ,nowhere in the shower to put anything and the entrance door kept jamming and wouldn’t shut .This was rectified a few days later. These pods are expensive for what they provide.
- Philip (8/5): A excellent visit. Would book again. - The area was a lovely spot. It was a bit far from the village.
