• Maria (10/5): Casa perfeita na Costa alentejana - A casa é muito confortável e bem decorada. Espaçosa e o espaço exterior é fantástico. Localização muito boa, próxima da praia do Malhao e a vila de S. Luís é muito simpática. Anfitriã Pamela foi 10 estrelas, muito simpática e atenciosa.
• Sebastian Rinken (10/5): Splendid - We had a splendid two weeks at this very comfortable and well attended accomodation. Didn't get round to using the pizza oven though... perhaps next time?? There are fantastic beaches less than 20 minutes away, the pool and terrace are first rate, as is the spacious interior. Special mention for Pamela's delicious welcome treat of local specialities! That occasional mosquito :)
• Robert (10/5): Ein kleines Paradies. - Ein perfektes Haus, hier haben wir uns äusserst wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung mehr als vollständig. Alles total gut im Schuss, fast neu, , nichts wackelt oder geht nicht. Die Umgebung spriesst lauschig vor sich hin, die Aussicht wie ein Gemälde von Monet. Der Pool eine Wohltat. Besonders erwähnt seien der geniale Sitzsack am Ende des Pools und die sehr interessant zu beobachtende Ameisenstrasse vom Pool, quer über die Terrasse zum Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Ausserdem gibt es hier eine kleine Rundwanderung, die man direkt vom Haus aus machen kann (Hortas do Sao Luis). Die schnell befahrene Überlandstrasse hat zwar sehr wenig Verkehr, ist aber gleich neben dem Haus. Und das WiFi reicht nicht bis in alle Schlafzimmer. Damit kann man aber sehr gut leben.

• Esther (9/5): Heerlijk huis, op een rustige plek. Ideale plek om tot rust te komen en binnen een goede reisafstand toch ook lekker naa - De rust, en de prachtige veranda met alle mogelijkheden om van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot ‘‘s avonds laat buiten te leven. Dat de derde slaapkamer niet binnendoor toegankelijk is. Met wat angstige kinderen minder handig.
• Rudolf (10/5): Ländliche Idylle - Liebevoll und schön renoviertes altes Landhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage, das hübsche Dorf Sao Luis ist zu Fuß in 25 Minuten erreichbar, mit dem Auto in 2. Das Haus, insbesondere die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen mit einem selbst gebackenen wunderbaren Schokoladenkuchen, Butter, Eier im Kühlschrank, Wein und Brot und einiges mehr. Fernseher gab es keinen, aber das wussten wir. Nur kleines zweisitziges Sofa im Wohnzimmer. Wir waren zu zweit, das war ok,aber für mehr Personen. Allerdings waren wir im Februar hier und deswegen abends drinnen. Wenn sich das Leben im Sommer draußen abspielt, sicher kein Manko mehr.

• Gareth (10/5): Beautiful relaxed holiday villa - The property is fantastic. Beautiful house, pool, and outside living area. Everything one could possibly need is included. The surrounding area is stunning with many excellent restaurants and beaches. A well stocked supermarket can be found nearby. Rui and Pamela were consummate hosts. A welcome pack containing all essentials was provided on arrival, including a delicious cake, local honey, and jam. During the stay we were made to feel most welcome, and particularly loved meeting Rui and Pamela’s horses and then listening to local music played by Rui and son. Rui and Pamela live nearby and are available if help is needed. Don’t think twice about booking Monte Esmeralda - you will have a great holiday! No complaints!

• Diego (10/5): Una experiencia Increible. - La casa y el entorno son espectaculares. Decorada con mucho gusto y mucho mimo. La zona no está masificada. Lugar ideal para desconectar, descansar y disfrutar. El pueblo de Sao Luis es muy especial, esta a cinco minutos de la casa. Las increibles praias están muy cerca también. Los anfitriones han sido encantadores y han estado pendientes de que nuestra experiencia fuera la mejor. La casa estaba equipada con todo lo necesario y más.
