- Ian (10/5): Abolutly fabulous stay - We throughly enjoyed our stay there was nothing we found wrong very impressed with the layout even the Christmas tree nice touch . It was very clean and everything we needed for our stay and it’s close to shops in Liskeard we will definitely stay again thank you very much to you both .
- Thomas (6/5): A good base to adventure around Cornwall. - Quiet location. Good-sized accommodation, didn't feel cramped. Instructions on everything necessary in the accommodation. Everything required in the kitchen to cook and prepare meals. Clean surroundings in the holiday park, well kept areas free of litter and well maintained. Cleaning could have been better, we put the hoover round when we arrived and picked up lots of dirt/dust/particles. The furniture requires better repairs or replacing as it is starting to fall apart. The main immersion heater didn't appear to work so we were on the boost element. There was enough water if planned right with a family of four. Mouldy silicon in the shower tray.
- Mrs Helen (9/5): A great location for relaxing, lucky with the good weather and got to visit some awesome towns and villages in south Cor - Location, amenities within the property, peaceful, not crowded. Good value for money. All on one level, no steps/ stairs. Loved the theme “Bees”. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that a dirty smelly mop had been left in the storage cupboard and at first could not locate the bad smell when we first arrived. Once I took that out of the cupboard and put outside the smell went.
- Louise (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay at BumbleBee Lodge. - Lovely, comfortable property. The snacks and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Very easy to contact the hosts who were very helpful. Beautiful location too. We really enjoyed ourselves.
- Jayne (10/5): - Location was perfect for visiting family. Property was warm and cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nothing
- Michael (5/5): - Heating in one room not working Internet unable to access due to not getting code until Thursday after several attempts, wrong address initially created a problem getting into the correct property
- clegg (9/5): - Secluded and level good parking very clean comfortable and modern enjoyed our stay would recommend and return Difficult to find needs better arrival instructions sat nav takes you to other separate area of bungalows
- Jayne (9/5): - Well maintained properly with everything we needed and the little extras that were left were welcome surprise .
- Linda (8/5): - The Lodge was very nice and had all u need in it like cups and places and all hande thinks The heaters was little bit confusing as where all off when we arrived
- Louise (9/5): Lovely stay at Bumblebee Lodge - It had all we needed and was very dog friendly.
Beds were super comfy
Kitchen had all we needed.
Loved the bumble bee theme throughout.
Hosts were very responsive. Nothing
- Yvonne (6/5): Nice little place, like home from home & we had a great time exploring Cornwall. - It was nicely decorated and there were games, tvs and other bits to make it more homely. There was also some milk on arrival and a few little treats in a bowl which were a nice touch. The bedding was clean and fresh smelling as were the towels. Aldi and Morrisons nearby and the fridge/freezer was a good size. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm which after a long journey was a bonus. There’s also a washing machine. No bedside table or sockets on one side of the bed in main bedroom. So take an extension lead! The WiFi….erm what WiFi it was absolutely pointless and there was very little signal on our phones either. The main bedroom mattress was rather uncomfortable and would benefit from a topper. The outdoor furniture and seated area is a bit unkempt and rusty. It would’ve been useful to have 2 sets of towels. We did bring beach towels but it was hard getting them dry for daily use!
- Ryan (8/5): - Good facilities. Nice and quiet
- Sebastian (6/5): - Location good Shower wasn’t the cleanest and we were unable to get on WiFi even after help
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - Was such a clean and friendly place. So quiet and peaceful. Perfect location for our family holiday to Cornwall. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back for our next Cornwall holiday.
- Paul (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing - We enjoyed all of the property had to offer, there is nothing we didn’t like about the property and the beautiful location, ideal for exploring Devon & Cornwall The internet would t connect and very little phone signal, which was a little frustrating for us, but I’m sure most just want to switch off
- Kevin (8/5): Great for exploring & relaxing - Location
Size
Got everything you needed
Welcome gift milk water biscuits Because near stream lots of flies so had to keep doors & windows closed but the high heat didn’t help but dehumidifier was great
- Naomi (8/5): Very good -
- Allen (10/5): A most enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again. - The complete privacy, the setting, the location.
The general cleanliness of the property.
The grounds are maintained impeccably. Nothing to dislike.
- Baldwin (8/5): Very good would use again - Lovely well equipped and homely with the bee touches throughout
Comfy bed and good location DVD player did not work
- Denise (10/5): Loved it - Location was great and comfortable Only problem was could not get our Netflix to work on Tv due to internet and the DVD player didn’t work apart from that it was fab !
- Sufian (10/5): Excellent very enjoyable - How clean the property was, the on sight parking along with the facilities available. Was very pleasant and peaceful Only issue was the WiFi I would recommend a better WiFi service and signal
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (8/5): Great holiday lodge family and dog friendly - Comfortable, warm, had everything we needed, and little extras like crisps were very thoughtful welcoming treats for the kids and a few essentials left for us in the fridge like milk and butter on arrival. Lovely comfortable beds had a great night's sleep. Little Robin came to greet us every day, which was really special. Nice location, dog and kid friendly. Good value and we had a fabulous stay. We arrived when it was dark so it was a bit hard to find the property as site is quite dark which is good and also lack of signs to say where it will be we understand that it can look unsightly etc, maybe some directions or a copy of site map as to where the parking allocated space is located when booking would be handy as we couldn't see the numbers clearly but we found it.
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pawel (7/5): Great value for money if everything works. - Very good value for money, good facilities and space, decent quiet location. WiFi didn't work for most of the stay which was the biggest let down as there was no cellular connection either so do your research beforehand. Some mouldy baking trays left in the cupboard. The site has a gate half way through and it's locked so you need to know which side you're supposed to enter from, we unfortunately had to find out the hard way as it was late and pouring heavily. Booking.com also send wrong pin code for masterlock. Location can be a double edged blade, nice and quiet in a remote place but getting to other places can be time consuming.
- Karl (10/5): Tidy small 2 bedroom at a very reasonable price - Very nice small 2 bedroom lodge it's great that it's got 2 bedrooms nice tidy area out the way sort of central to most places to visit so can go more places if you don't mind a drive I got to most main areas host contacts you quite quick to answer questions All okay really for the money no complaints
- Brookh (10/5): Definitely going again - This property is unreal loved every second would happily move in a brilliant location to liskerd and the standing stones very disability friendly. Absolutely no fault of the bungalow the WiFi was extremely spotty but we did relax 😀
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything looks lovely as soon as you open the door there was milk in the fridge when we arrived and so much more the owners thought of everything would definitely go again. Thank you . Nothing apart for me rain .
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy beds, very clean and smelled nice. Plus it was dry and warm in a very wet and cold spring! There were a few ants around the front door - appreciate that this is not the hosts fault and it didn't detract from the stay
