Guest Reviews
- Giulia (10/5): Just what we needed! 5 star!! - The place is absolutely stunning, immerse in nature and very peaceful. The horses are very friendly and they came to welcome us at the gate.
- Deborah (10/5): - Welcoming hosts
Views
Spacious lounge, kitchen area
Beautiful views A grab rail in shower and by toilet would be helpful for less mobile people.
- TJdaxie (10/5): Relaxing stay - The house was lovely and relaxing. Close to go walking Maybe a dishwasher
- Cathy (9/5): A great stay. - A great, light, spacious annexe with a gorgeous outlook and a great kitchen and bathroom. Everything you could need was supplied. There was no signal for the Freeview to work so needed to use BBC iPlayer, etc. Luckily my husband knows how to work that as I didn't know.
- Gardner (10/5): - All of it. Nothing
- Mark (8/5): -

- Liam (10/5): Great for a peaceful weekend away - Great location. Nice and cozy. Helpful hosts. N/A
- Nicki (10/5): Really lovely stay thank you -
- Kayahan (10/5): A Perfect Escape Into Nature and Quiet Luxury - luxury design, one step nature, calm relax wifi connection was bit slow but if you have mobile signal was fine enough to use. bed is bit too hard for my taste but, overall comfy.
- Kajal (10/5): Homely, clean, welcoming and so much more!! - The property is just as you see on the pictures if not, better !! Sam was so welcoming and greeted us in the morning when she was out with the horses. Would definitely be returning!
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Jenkins (10/5): -
- Georgina (10/5): Perfect little hideaway! - Beautiful property tucked away in the countryside, perfect to getaway for a few night. Hope to be back again soon. Happy with everything. I know some other reviews mentioned that it would be great to have a full length mirror which I would agree with but honestly it’s so minor!
- Sylvia (7/5): - Great location, clean and comfy. Handy to be able to charge the car. Friendly, helpful hosts and a lovely touch with the arrival biscuits.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Safia (10/5): Wonderful short break - many thanks to Sam for being so accommodating. - Excellent location, really peaceful to unwind and relax in. Exceptionally clean and kitted out to a high standard. Nothing!
- Ray (10/5): Relaxing hideaway - Locally hidden gem nicely furnished for a quiet break Nothing all good
- Siddhant (10/5): It was a pleasant stay and would definitely book it again. - The location, the Annexe was set up perfectly and it was very cosy. Love the outdoor space. Dog treats were a touch too. The TV was too small to where it is, as the living space is quite big for a small TV like that. Would definitely benefit with a TV in the room and a full lent mirror. Also would be a great addition if iron and ironing board was provided and mop for bathroom. There wasn’t any dog bowls either. Apart from these the set up is really nice.
- Adrian (9/5): - Very clean and spacious, good facilities and nice garden to sit in, local walks were lovely with the dogs. Not much in the way of pubs or places to eat nearby .
- Elizabeth Janet (9/5): - Lovely quirky and peaceful. Thoughtfully left appropriate toys for 3 year old son.
- Duncan (7/5): -
- Pauline (10/5): Perfect 2 night's stay to visit a friend close by - a home from home. - Location was very quiet, so perfect for us. We chose this location to attend a friend's 60th party in the next village. It was a comfortable clean space. Lovely to sit in the garden.
- Frederik (10/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - It's has been decorated in a really interesting way. It's quirky and classy. A full length mirrors would have made it perfect
- Marcus (10/5): Lovely place in a really lovely part of the world. Great outdoor space. - The location was fantastic and the outdoor space was even nicer than the photographs suggested. It was really tranquil, just birds and lots of butterflies. The property itself was immaculate and perfect for our stay. Can't think of anything.

Half an hour from cambridge where we enjoyed a day out and a local muddy walk to see the sunset - thank you to Sally the host who kindly lent our son some wellies! Would recommend.

Comfy furnishings and bed. Loved the uniqueness of the hand painted wall and hand crafted tables and light fittings.

- Laura (9/5): Very good place to stay - Comfortable and well equipped. The garden is very beautiful and my son enjoyed seeing the animals (thanks!!). They even provided us with toys for our kids and they had a blast. As we were using the sofa as the second bed, we would have appreciated to be able to blind all windows.
- Susan (10/5): Brilliant! - Fabulous location very peaceful and property was thoughtfully presented. Lovely walks all around within a delightful village. Could maybe have had a side gate and secure fencing as we have a dog
- Lester (10/5): Perfect accommodation for the weekend -
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (9/5): Lovely premises and the host was excellent. -
- Victoria (9/5): Superb - Lovely location, peaceful surroundings, attentive hosts, modern and clean facilties, beautifully decorated, thoughtful touches e.g. children's toys am books around, Teddy and blanket in the cot provided, mill in the fridge on arrival, cotton buds/pads in bathroom, kitchen essentials etc
Really pleased with the place overall, very glad we chose this one and would recommend for a weekend away. I think we would have appreciated a microwave for our baby's food but not an issue enough to be considered a problem. It's understandable that there's limited space for appliances.
- Sharon (8/5): Totally recommend to anyone - Beautifully decorated and presented. Very peaceful surroundings. Clean and very neat and minimal. Nice to have dog treats and biscuits and mill available on arrival. Wonderful view out the large window entrance, especially on a sunny day. The AC was a little noisy during the night so I struggled to sleep. I think that is mainly a me problem though as I live in a very quiet part of Scotland with zero noise so I'm used to hearing nothing. And I could have made an effort to look to see how to turn it off completely so my fault. Apart from that, I couldn't fault anything.
- Julian (9/5): Superb - Very clean and spacious. Great base for a short visit to Cambridgeshire.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): A lovely stay in a beautiful lodge. Throughly recommend! - Really lovely setting and everything you would need for a weekend away. The owners lived next door and really friendly and on hand should you need anything. Lots of pretty woodland walks nearby and a bluebell wood that goes on forever. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to escape it all.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (9/5): Very comfortable enjoyable stay and loved meeting the ponies - Lovely setting. Open plan, nice layout A hairdryer would be a good addition ☺️
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Really clean and beautiful space. Very tranquil and relaxing. Excellent communication from the hosts. Thanks
- Carolina (8/5): Perfect escape - Fantastic location. A perfect place to escape from London. Facilities could be better. No BBQ maker was available, no hair dryer, and no microwave. Simple things that would make the difference.
- Kieron (10/5): Like home away from home! - Lovely property with great finish
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (10/5): Lovely spot perfect location for our trip -
