- Nel (10/5): Lovely family cottage with everything we needed. - We loved the quiet location with the spacious garden. It was a beautiful little cottage with everything we needed and more. Family friendly and the fire place was fantastic. The host was lovely enough to get a fire going for us before arrival, which was a lovely touch. Nothing to complain about.
- James (10/5): A cozy "home away from home" - Wife and I love the quiet, peaceful environment. Property backs onto the Yarra River, so sitting outside with a coffee listening to the sounds of the river makes for a very relaxing stay. Waking up to the sounds of kookaburras is also pleasant.
Cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Two comfy bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), spacious bathroom, comfy lounge room, indoor fireplace, laundry, well-equipped kitchen, and outdoor BBQ.
Some thoughtful Touches included complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits. There were some helpful guides for the area, detailing the history, where to find the walking trails, sights to see, and where to eat.
Overall a super relaxing vibe, making it feel like a "home away from home".
- Priscila (10/5): A relax stay surrounded by nature - The cottage is an amazing place for families. You can hear the kookaburras every morning, relax in the backyard or enjoy the fireplace.
- Kerry (9/5): - The fire was beautiful and did a great job of heating the place. I didn't realise how far out of town it was!
- Nevil (9/5): - Fireplace and all essentials for family
- Hannah (9/5): - Open fire and plenty of wood
- Uten (10/5): -
- Sergei (10/5): Exceptional - Great atmosphere of the place and thoughtfulness of hosts. Plenty of guide and hints printed and provided, including for all the nice walk and food places. Very comfy vibe inside of the house with all the nostalgic dvds, quietness, treats, and fireplace.
- Robin (10/5): Love this cottage and will be back! - Loved the cottage as soon as I saw it. The minute I stepped in I knew I was in for a comfy couple of days. The couch is so nice to relax on, the fire heats the cottage nicely, the firewood and kindling ready to go, spare heaters, the kids table and book which my daughter loved, the relaxing backyard and steps down to the Yarra, the great selection of books, games, TV apps, plates Cups etc, wifi, and the display folder of recommendations. Loved the cottage and will definitely be back. N/A
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): A relaxing time in this comfortable home. - A comfortable home with all we needed for a short weekend getaway. Beds were comfy. Koonara woodheater kept us toasty warm . The surprise bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits waiting for us on arrival. A short drive to many beautiful attractions and walks. The variety of cooking essentials and cookware if required. The many options for relaxing in the big back garden ( weather permitting ). The use of 2 large umbrellas which we needed on the one day that it rained. nothing
- Hung (8/5): Very good - Indoor firewood heater with plenty of firewood. Need a exhaust fan in the toilet and kitchen. Need some outdoor boots and slippers for inside.
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peta (10/5): Ultimate relaxation as soon as you arrive - Willows cottage was a home away from home.
We loved making friends with the kookaburras. It was the perfect location for us while our daughter was attending diabetes camp literally across the road. That we couldn’t stay longer 😉
- Selea (10/5): Exceptional - Everything at Willow's cottage was beyond our expectations.
We were welcomed by the cutest green cottage, checking in was easy, and there was an abundance of facilities. We loved the fireplace, and the bedding was made up for the conditions. Warburton has so much to offer, we can't wait to come back! There was nothing we didn't like.
- Jennifer (9/5): Great location, good accommodation, attention to detail, comfortable. Hosts had made a real effort. - Great location. Well stocked kitchen with utensils spices, tea coffee etc.
- Leeanne (8/5): Our Willows Cottage stay was the perfect spot to immerse ourselves in nature and slow down. - Quiet location in a beautiful region. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Comfy couch. Caring and considerate owners. The courtesy chocolate biscuits and bottle of wine. Toilet within the bathroom.
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Loved that the house had lots of extras...a cupboard full of games, a stack of dvd's, a pantry full of cooking essentials, and some treats left for us in the fridge
- Vicki (9/5): Would recommend it to my friends and family - really enjoyed my stay - I loved that it was not too far from Warburton and that it was in a quiet location, near the Yarra River - shame that we couldn't access the river via the property. Did love how the cottage was clean, tidy and very well equipped even with kitchen spices, sauces, etc. Nice to be given a wine and some biscuits on arrival. Great we could access the Wi-Fi and Netflix. The log fire was comforting and my sister was very good at starting it, etc. I thought it would have been good to have airconditioning downstairs as well, and maybe a heating system if not used to starting log fires. Only having the one bathroom, with toilet in the same room with no door on the toilet, it was difficult if you were needing to go to the toilet especially when you were in the upstairs bedroom. And I was worried to wake my sister if I did get up because of the creaky floor boards above her bedroom.
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Sabri (9/5): Superb -
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the natural setting. Our 2 little boys loved seeing the trees and birds from every windrow.
The cottage was equipped with absolutely everything.
- Daniel (10/5): A beautiful place to getaway solo or with your loved ones to experience the beautiful locations. - There is so much to like! We loved the location as the cottage is situated by forest and landmarks. The backyard makes the cottage feel secluded. Highlights include the fireplace, supplied board games, kitchen stocked with basics and comfy couch and Netflix. The hosts had great communication as well. N/A
- Allan (9/5): Superb - It is everything we expected. We were very pleased with the cottage. Tap in the bathroom. It's hard to get your face over the sink.

- Cynthia (9/5): Superb - Loved the serenity of the location.
The lovely fireplace & the Tim's tams & bottle of wine were just perfect to enjoy over our few days away. Maybe put a reflector at the letter box. When coming from the town the driveway is before the letterbox & we drove past the driveway slightly twice. Not a big deal.
- Gunter (9/5): We had a lovely weekend even in the big storm of the 2nd Sept. The house felt quite solid and save. - Willows cottage is a lovely old fashioned cottage close to the yarra river with a setback position from the main road.
We enjoyed our stay very much and the wood fire was excellent. Lots of extras for cooking plus a free bottle of wine was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very new with a great shower.
An excellent large TV and DVD player connected with some DVD,s supplied needs a bit of getting used to, but then is also very good We were lucky to have a little portable heater with us since there is no bathroom heater, it made a big difference, so no problem for us.
- Suzi (10/5): We had a wonderful Winter weekend getaway. Willow's Cottage was the perfect place to stay. - The location was beautiful. So pretty and relaxing. The beds were super comfy. The house was just perfect and lovely and clean with everything we needed. The property was gorgeous with the Yarra River right at the back. The gift of wine and biscuits was a lovely touch.
Thank you. We loved our stay.
