- Anupa (5/5): Not reliable property owner. - This was not the property we were given inspite of paying for it. A week before the trip we were told that this property was not available. And now they offered us a different property (Monk’s Crescent)with just one bath which was on a different floor than the bedrooms.
Given that we payed the same price for facilities below expectations than what we wanted we were not happy with this new place. (monk’s crescent).
And with one week left, we could not cancel since all hotels and rentals were all sold out.
One bathroom was in the kitchen area. So now we had to have all our stuff lying around the kitchen instead of bedroom.
Wifi stopped working on the day of checkout.
3 heating radiators were not working.
We were given the wrong code to open the key safe. So at 10pm we are scrambling to contact the property manager. Eventually it worked out.
- David (9/5): Great family option near Durham Uni - Great location. Quite spacious, light and airy.. Big well equipped kitchen, laundry and lovely living area. Clean, comfortable beds and linen and the one bathroom coped well with the guest loo downstairs. We couldn't find a hairdryer? And we left some extra coat hangers for the next guests as we couldn't manage with what was there.
