I due uomini parlano inglese francese ed italiano. Le due donne non parlano altre lingue oltre all’arabo ma sono molto gentili Piccoli suggerimenti per la struttura: le lenzuola del letto sono piccole e non ci si copre del tutto. Sarebbe utile avere un tappeto assorbente per il bagno in quanto non c’è il piatto doccia. Secondo me il prezzo era un po’ alto per la camera assegnataci che credo non fosse la più bella del riad

• Ondrej (10/5): - Perfektní hostitelé, velmi milí a přátelští. Hned po příjezdu se nás zeptali, jestli nepotřebujeme vyprat nějaké oblečení. Tento servis byl zahnutý v ceně tedy vyprání bylo zdarma. Když jsem platil ubytování, chtěl jsem nechat něco navíc právě za vyprání, ale bylo mi řečeno, že řekl, že je to zdarma a že bych ho urazil. Dostali jsme welcome drink - mátový čaj. Ubytování krásné, snídaně na terase, kde byl jakýsi výhled na střechy mediny. Majitel si nás dokonce našel bloudící v uličkách suku. Jednim slovem perfektní. Byli jsme velmi spokojení a vřele doporučuji toro ubytování. Nemohu přijít na nic, co bych sem mohl napsat 🙂

The brothers were great and even came to rescue us when we got stuck in the souk and helped us drive to the car park. We loved the roof terrace (especially the tortoises!) and breakfast was superb. Quite noisy at night and then the 5am call to prayer was exceptionally long and loud!

• Antonio (10/5): - Bellissimo riad in ottima posizione, nel bel mezzo della Medina, vicino alla piazza Lahdim.  Il titolare Ahmed è una persona eccezionale, disponibile e solare, parla bene l'italiano e ad ogni richiesta risponde sorridente "non c'è problema", dalla ricerca di indumenti di lino ai tappeti kilim, dal tour in taxi per Volubilis e Moulay Driss alla ricerca del taxi per la stazione alla nostra partenza. Ci ha portato anche le valigie. Ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Meknes indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo.

• Susanna (10/5): TORNEREMO - Riad gestito da due giovani e gentilissimi fratelli. All'arrivo, ci sono venuti a prendere alla porta della medina per accompagnarci al riad. Il riad è molto vicino alla piazza Lahdim ed è facile orientarsi. In aggiunta i gestori sono stati molto disponibili e attenti ai nostri desideri e ci hanno dato indicazioni e suggerimenti per tutto quello che volevamo fare e visitare. La nostra camera era spaziosa con vista sulla città, bagno e salotto riservato. Ottima colazione marocchina servita nel terrazzo. Meknes è assolutamente da visitare. Antica città imperiale fuori dai grandi flussi turistici. Tranquilla e ben tenuta. Il museo Dar Jamai è uno dei musei che più mi è piaciuto nel mio viaggio in Marocco. Tutto è andato oltre le aspettative.

• Marina (9/5): - El personal genial, nos ayudó con el aparcamiento y el equipaje. Nos recibieron con un té en la terraza y nos ofrecieron si queríamos una habitación mejor por el mismo precio. El desayuno que preparan esta muy bien. Localización en plena medina, no demasiado lejos de la zona donde se puede aparcar. La habitación es sencilla pero cuenta con lo necesario, también te dejan secador de pelo si lo necesitas. Fue una experiencia agradable. Todo bien. No hay ascensor pero te ayudan con el equipaje.

La chambre et la salle de bains étaient propres, avec eau chaude serviettes et savon. Nuit calme et bon petit déjeuner. Très bien Comme tous les riads c'est un peu sombre

• NADIA_1982 (10/5): Sentirsi come a casa - Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza davvero speciale in questo Riad. Lo staff è semplicemente eccezionale: sempre disponibile, attento e capace di farci sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento, inoltre il proprietario (che parla anche in italiano) ci è venuto a prendere dal parcheggio portandoci le valigie al Riad. La colazione è favolosa e abbondante, con prodotti freschi e tanta varietà, perfetta per iniziare la giornata al meglio. La camera era molto confortevole, curata nei dettagli e accogliente. Un plus davvero straordinario è stato il servizio incluso di lavanderia per i panni dei bambini: un’attenzione che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo e che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più comodo. Consigliatissimo! Nulla da segnalare

Idéalement situé à l entrée de la medina, proche de tous les lieux à visiter. Chambre vieillotte mais propre et confortable. Petit déjeuner au top sur le toit terrasse avec Anass, un hôte très très sympathique et drôle. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison. Si nous devions revenir à Meknes, nous logerrions à nouveau au riad andalousse. Réservez sans hésiter, c est notre adresse préférée du moyen atlas. Rien. Tout était parfait

• Gunnar (8/5): Good value accommodation in Meknes - This was a good budget option spot in Meknes. Once here, it felt almost like a home. There was a comfy common area where you could sit and the rooftop had nice views. The breakfast was good, one of the better ones I had in Morocco. And the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Some of the ladies who worked there didn't speak any English, but they were super friendly and accommodating if you used Google Translate. The two gentlemen that owned and/or managed the place spoke good English and were also friendly and accommodating. The one even gave great advice about how to the bus to Moulay Idriss instead of a grand taxi because he said it would save money and have a more enjoyable ride. And having taken a grand taxi back from Moulay Idriss I can say he was 100% correct. As for the room, the bed was comfortable and the linens seemed in pretty good shape. The water pressure and temperature were nice. It wasn't luxurious by any means, but it was good for the price. There are minor issues that shouldn't dissuade someone from staying here, but my biggest issues were finding it and the Wi-Fi situation. As everyone has said, you will not find this place on your own by using Google Maps. The location is wrong on Google Maps, and it isn't easy to find using the maps on booking apps. I had to have an actual WhatsApp audio conversation with the manager in order to find it. If you don't have a data plan in Morocco, you need to message the manager on Wi-Fi before you get in the area for detailed instructions about how to find it because you will not find it on your own. Also remember that the front desk is on the second floor; the ground floor is some kind of workshop or something. As for the Wi-Fi, it was very spotty in the room I was in. I noticed that the closer I got to the front desk the better it worked, and the manager offered to move me closer and tried to move the router to make it better. I declined because I was only staying there two nights and I didn't want to make the staff have to clean an extra room. Just know that the room on the second floor farthest from the front desk has spotty Wi-Fi, so if a closer room is available, ask for it. If you arrive in the middle of the day, the two men might not be working. The women who work there are super friendly, but don't speak English. Just know that if you don't speak Arabic or French, you might need Google Translate to do the communicating. But they are very friendly and accommodating, so that's nothing to worry about. Another small issue is the bathroom, as the floor gets (and stays wet) after a shower. If you aren't used showers that wet the entire bathroom floor that might be a bit off-putting, but there are extra towels that you can use to sop up the liquid (though a squeegee in the bathroom for guests to move the water to the drain would be a plus).

• Roberto Turrado Camblor (8/5): Bonita experiencia en la medina, personal muy amable - El personal es muy atento: me ayudaron a llegar desde la plaza El Hedim, me acompañaron a buscar un restaurante el primer día, te ofrecen té y limonada fuera de las horas de desayuno, muy amables... El sitio está a 3 minutos andando de la plaza El Hedim, que es un poco el centro turístico de Mequinez, con la entrada a la medina, y los museos a 5 minutos andando. Vivir unos días en el interior de la medina es realmente una experiencia. El desayuno está bastante bien: diferentes panes, una tortilla francesa, salsas varias, un yogur, café o té y un zumo. La habitación es cómoda, con sitio para la maleta, un buen armario... Nada realmente, pero sí que hay cosas a tener en cuenta. Puede que no te guste dormir justo en la medina, puede ser un poco caos, llegar allí con la maleta, orientarse, ah, y oír cantar a los imanes a las 5 y media de la mañana! El baño es el típico que no te ofrecerá sitio apenas para dejar tus cosas, solo en el lavamanos, y al ducharte salpicarás todo el suelo. El desayuno es el mismo todos los días, y no esperes fruta o cereales. El pago en metálico, aunque esto parece ser lo habitual en Marruecos.

• Mihai (9/5): Charming riad in the heart of the Medina - Nice charming riad tucked in the middle of the medina, close to everything. Staff=exceptional, warm, helpful, did their best to accomodate us. Good breakfast, heat in the room functional. We had a great stay in this place &would warmly recommend it. Many stairs to climb to the room, but was no problem for us.

Haus ist etwas kühl, doch wir hatten eine Klimaanlage mit Heizmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Abends im Ramadan etwas lauter, da nahe vom Souk.

• Gerhard (9/5): - Sehr empfehlenswert! Äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, sauber, Zimmer ausreichend groß, super Frühstück, perfekte Lage. Die sehr gemütliche Dachterrasse wird auch von der freundlichen Schildkröte Caroline bewohnt.
