• Apoorv (10/5): Great location and amazing host - Large size with a big terrace. Well equipped and a comfortable bed. Most of all, the owner is awesome. He is very responsive and helpful. I booked this apartment late night after my original booking cancelled on me. The owner of this apartment was extremely forthcoming and dependable for my situation and made the necessary arrangements with utmost satisfaction. Nothing I can think of
• Ivelina (8/5): Cozy apartment close to anything you may need - The apartment is cute and cozy, very bright as well. The front side faces the street and back side (kitchen and bedroom) face a quiet park. Location is good because you can walk to the peer, restaurants, shops, cafes, and landmarks easily by foot. Tram and bus stops are also very close. Paid parking spots are available at the end of the street. I suggest going for those if you're by car. Host was always available to chat and assist with anything, we really appreciated that. While parking on the street is free, it's very narrow and steep. Wouldn't recommend attempting it. Go for the paid parking instead. Minor suggestion is to have ammeneties based on the length of stay - there wasn't enough toilet paper for the 4 days we stayed, we bought some ourselves + some paper towels for the kitchen.
• Zain (9/5): Cozy and romantic getaway place! - The place is extremely cozy and clean and perfect for couples looking to stay closer to the beautiful istiklal street (2mins walk) and Galata tower (5mins walk)! To top it all, our host Furkan was a gem, always there to support and guide with whatever was required in the most helpful way. Everything about the place and location was great however, one should keep in mind two things: 1. If you have a car, street parking is subject to availability and later at night you may not find one. Close by paid parking charges 500 Lira for the night 2. The apartment is on second floor with no elevator and a spiral staircase. Could be tricky with elder citizens or people with disabilities.
• Massimo (10/5): Definitely suggested for your multiday stay in Beyoğlu or for a longer stay in smarworking! - - great location - nice flat with enough space for 3 ppl - great and available host - turkish breakfast included on the fridge - washing machine/fridge/hairdryer/iron included and working - close shops anything to add
• Aiste (4/5): Misleading advertisement - Good location, spacious, terrace with local cats was fun. The advertisement was misleading: it had to include free breakfast and round transportation from and to the airport. The booking customer service assured me of that, since I proposed to cancel the booking if the host is not willing to respect it. In the end, we only got the transportation to the apartment (and the host wanted to guilt-trip us into paying additionally for it). There was no free breakfast (apart from two tomatoes left in the kitchen..), and we organized our own transportation back to the airport. Bedding and bedsheets could be improved. There was only 1 chair in the terrace, and one of the chairs in the room was broken. No airconditioning, and it is hot and loud outside - it was hard to sleep.

• Christoph (10/5): Wonderful host, centrally located apartment - Furkan was an excellent host who helped us in any way possible - including breakfast served to the apartment every morning. The apartment itself is located on a quiet(er) street but still very central. Walkable distance to the Galata Bridge and Sultanahmet aswell as easy access to the tram line T1. We were also provided with an Istanbulkart for public transportation which was a great amenity. Thank you very much for a great stay! The equipment of the apartment is a bit basic - but Furkan quickly tried to help with any given request
• Ildar (10/5): Our unforgettable days in Istanbul - A great place if you want to feel at home. The design inside is a little ascetic, but it allows you to feel the oriental flavor, especially since the location of the apartments is magnificent. I don’t regret at all that I chose these apartments rather than a hotel room. The owner is extremely friendly and ready to help in any situation.
• Edgar (10/5): Exceptional - The perfect location for visiting the city with walking distance to everything, a warm quiet trendy and arty district, a feel good apartment, a kind and helpfull host, and cherry on cake a delicious and various breakfast door-delivered every morning at the time of your choice! So, Everything perfect!
• Roman (8/5): Nice apartments in the very heart of Istanbul - Good place, many cats on the terrace to feed, warm enough, internet speed was sufficient, very comfy overall. Bed is just a matress on the floor, which was still comfortable, but bed would be nice
• Lina (9/5): Superb - The location was great because it was centric but also tucked away so we could have quiet nights and rest. Breakfast was delivered to us every morning and it was perfect and delicious. There was nothing to clean up the house, after a few days i would have liked to vacuum or sweep but there was no broom nor vaccuum.
• Calin (10/5): Amazing apartament, great host - The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was more spacious than I expected. We booked a night, but ended up staying a week. The host was very friendly and incredibly helpful. He tries to meet all our expectations, and answered very fast to messages. He made our stay smooth and gave us a lot of useful tips. It takes a little bit of effort to reach the destination, but I was expecting that as it is on Galata Hill. The location is central, near a lot of attractions. Also, it has a shop very near which was great. It is pet friendly. And I recommend this location, as it has a small park in front of the building, with a little bit of grass. We parked on the street in front of the apartment. The host had occupied a space for us, which was great. The terrace has cats, which are friendly.
• Claude (8/5): Experiencing an authentic Istanbul neighborhood! - MBAS Apartments is very well located, within 10-15 minutes walk you are in the middle of the action, the apartment is simple yet it offers a nice terrace in the back among trees and nature. It is very quiet at night. It has all the amenities you need. The communication with the owner was easy and he was responsive. I must say that for the price it was a good place to stay and enjoy the real life of Istanbul. The bed could have been more comfortable and it would have been nice to have a fan since there is no AC.
• Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The place is really nice and comfortable - bright flat, terrace, all the utilities. We had everything we needed. The host is extremely helpful, communication was easy and smooth. The location is a top - near Galata port, with a lot of cafes and restaurants around. Can only recommend. The only thing - the water in the bathroom does not always drain well, the floor can be wet and slippery.

• Alexandre (10/5): excellent value for money, great host, great location would recommend in the future for anyone. - Furkan is a really nice host, easy going, communication was excellent, we even had a small mishap that got solved in a very short time thanks to how prompt he was. the location is exceptional, only 5 minutes walk at most to get to istiklal street, lots of places to eat and drink around, quiet close to the galata tower, and only a 15 minutes walk to the galata bridge if you are planning on crossing the bridge on foot and seeing the fishermen. there is a small grocery stores downstairs for all your essential shopping. its a very calm neighbourhood. the apartment also has a balcony overlooking a small park that is perfect if you are a smoker but keep in mind it doesnt have a table or chairs. its also quiet clean. overall excellent value for money. the bed isnt the comfiest and if you are planning on cooking in the apartment know that you have very limited utensils so you should limit yourself to basic meals, for us it wasnt an issue as we were also there on a culinary trip to explore what the city has to offer. also you might wanna bring your own blowdryer as the one in the apartment is old and not the most efficient. but overall its very hard to find things to complain about in the apartment.
• Natalia (10/5): Clean, good located and like at home - Super clean, super helpful owner of the flat, amazing location, towels provided and mini kitchen which helped to save some money on restaurants. I was with my parents (3 adults) and i slept on sofa and we were pretty fine with that. I would prefer separate shower from wc but it was much better than i expected by photos. I had my hawaianas with me and it was pretty comfy like that.

• Kevin (10/5): Great little apartment near Istiklal street! - Great little apartment near Istiklal street (5 min walk), comfortable bed, bright living room. Furkan (who is renting out this apartment) is very friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more! There's even a balkony and apple-TV. There's a little shop next door - very convenient! If we come back to Istanbul we will definitely come back here, overall great experience! Nothing comes to mind that would have made our stay nicer! :)
• Konstantin (10/5): Everything is Perfect - ,, I stumbled upon this apartment because I travel to Istanbul almost every week and you can imagine how many hotels I have stayed in. I must note that in terms of price and quality, there is no other similar hotel that can be found. Usually in Istanbul, hotel rooms, especially around Taksim, are very small and quite uncomfortable in noisy areas, and this apartment is in a great location with all the sights nearby. Galata Tower, Galata Bridge, Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, Galata Port, and you can walk to Hagia Sophia without any problems. The apartment has a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and a small balcony. Large TV and fast internet. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy, and Furkan (the host) extremely friendly, responsive, polite and very friendly. Ready to help with anything. I recommend the apartment to all guests who want to visit Istanbul and I also very much hope that on my next visit to Istanbul I will be able to stay in the same apartment and very happy to see Furkan again. My personal rating for everything is more than 10.
• Waleed (10/5): Best small apartment in Taksim, Istanbul. - We had the nicest host. Very friendly and helpful. It has room to sleep 3 to 4 people comfortably. Tv with streaming service. Neat and tidy. Small kitchen with most necessities. Grocery shop in the next building nearby. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.
