• Vismar (6/5): - The staff. Especially the cook, she is a star. Makes your stay great. It really is located so you can hear all the music form all the clubs that play until the next day. So you really can't rest. If you can't sleep with loud music until 6 am, then this is not your place.

Podrás ir caminando a todos los lugares de atraccion que quieras hacer. La buena ubicación tiene un precio: no apto para personas que tengan problemas para dormir o que tenga limitaciones al subir escaleras. Pero vale la pena si estas dispuesto a asumirlo

• Mauricio (10/5): Excelente, nos sentimos em casa - Excelente atendimento, café da manhã maravilhoso muito bem preparado, a Nora que atente no café da manhã é muito gentil e amorosa. Mil estrelas para ela. E mil estrela para todos os demais pois fomos muito bem acolhidos na nossa estadia. Excelente localização, uns 15min ou menos caminhando até a Muelle de la bodeguita (de onde saem todos os passeios) e da torre do relógio, que fica do lado da Muelle. Tudo certo, nada a reclamar.

• Eleonora (1/5): Theft from room and zero responsibility from hotel - / I had a very serious and unacceptable experience at this hotel. During my stay, approximately 200 EUR went missing from my room. The room was only accessed by hotel staff while we were out, which makes this situation extremely concerning. As a guest, you expect a basic level of security and trust — this was clearly not the case here. What is even more disappointing is how the hotel handled the situation. There was no real investigation, no accountability, and no support. I was told vague things about checking cameras and even a “polygraph test,” which sounded unprofessional and unrealistic. The manager never showed up to speak with me in person, despite saying they would. Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel hid behind their policy stating they are not responsible for lost items and mentioned the safe. This was not properly explained during check-in (which was late at night), and in any case, guests should not feel that their belongings are at risk inside their own room. This is not just about the money — it is about safety, trust, and how guests are treated when something serious happens. I strongly advise future travelers to be extremely cautious when staying here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

La habitación era cómoda, solo afecta los comercios aledaños que son muy ruidosos, pero el esfuerzo del hotel por cumplir su promesa fue impecable.

• ACACIA MENDES (4/5): Não valeu o que paguei, não vi a hora de ir embora. - A localização O hotel apertado, com muitas escadas, chuveiro péssimo(fraco), banheiro apertado, uma hora o banheiro funciona no quente outras não, o ar condicionado parou de esfriar e depois voltou a funcionar. O café da manhã nos dias que ficamos a moça que atendia educada e pouca variedade de alimentos, porém no dia da folga da atendente, estava uma senhora que não sabia nada, serviu café gelado e bastante atrapalhada.

Para nosotros no fue un problema, pero a pesar de que la ubicación sea excelente por estar en el corazón de Getsemaní, la zona es ruidosa por la noche al tener un bar cerca.

Nos dieron una habitación en la que la caja de seguridad no estaba bien. Intentaron culparnos de la falta de nuestro dinero señalando que debimos llevar mejor nuestras cuentas y que probablemente lo habíamos cambiado, pero solo hicimos un cambio en el aeropuerto cuando llegamos para lo necesario y luego en todos nuestros recorridos solo hicimos uso de tarjetas. Otro detalle: estén presentes cuando pesen su ropa para el servicio de lavado.

• Alfred (8/5): Very good - Had a great stay here! The location is right in the midst of things surrounded by amazing bars & restaurants. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good. Stayed over Christmas and the staff gave us some natillas to enjoy :) It is quite noisy here and ear plugs are a necessity. Usually the music stopped around 1am. The water pressure also disappeared completely in the shower during our stay here. The WiFi in our room was very poor because we weren't near any routers - I imagine it's better in the other rooms

• Feliciana (7/5): Into Getsemaní core! - Perfect position, in the middle of Getsemaní and very near to the historical city center. The room is essential, a little bit small but with air conditioning. The bathroom was ok. The staff is gentle. Room a little bit noisy, and with the only window impossible to open without be seen from everyone passing. If you have big luggage, take in consideration that there is more than a stairs to arrive to the room. Breakfast time is until 9.00 am, I think to early considering that is a city with a lot of nightlife. It is a pedestrian street, not a negative things but to take in consideration when book an Uber.
• Marcus (8/5): Nice hotel in good area - The hotel is an amazing location, right in the heart of Getsemani. The rooms have aircon which is necessary because it is boiling hot all day! The staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. There were no windows, only shutters so if you wanted to get light into the room, everyone could look into your room
• Philippa (7/5): Good - Fridge and nice clean rooms. I chose to ignore the reviews about the noise of an evening but it’s extremely loud. I stayed friday/saturday night so will be quieter midweek.
• Chiara (8/5): Simple but comfortable room in the center of Cartagena - Great location at the center of Getsemani. The rooms are basic but clean and with everything one might need. They have a fan and air conditioning, which are really really important considering Cartagena’s heat. Price was in line with other similar places. Rooms are very small (but have everything you might need). The bed cover didn’t seem very clean. Due to being located at the very center of the city, it is very very loud at night until late (we didn’t mind because we could sleep well anyway, but it’s something to take note of).
• Rosiegoldie (6/5): Noisy but nice hostel in Getsemani, in lively Cartagena - The staff were great. It's a lovely hostel, a basic breakfast of fruit and eggs with bread. The eggs were really good though. It's in the Getsemani neighbourhood which is a cool place in itself - LOTS of life around this area. It is good for walking around and exploring a lot and is close to the main tourist centre. As I mentioned, it's a lively area so there is a lot of noise. If you want to party then you're jn the right place. It's a big drawback for me. There isn't any glass in the windows, just wooden shutters. Ear plus don't quite cut it either. However, it seems they are working on getting glass put into the windows which would help.

• Wendy (1/5): Beware of Made Up Charges!! - The location was good however checking out a representative charged an astronomical fee for the mini fridge. On the website, there is no charge for the fridge. I asked repeatedly for a receipt she did not provide one. I got a receipt on a handwritten paper. Beware they charges us over $60 on our way to our waiting Uber. The clerk made up charges and we couldn't leave unless paid. They buzz you in and out. Another guest was a victim of this scam!

• David (5/5): Right in the thick of it - Comfortable room. Fridge in the room. Decent bathroom. Nice view over the street. Friendly staff. Good area. Interesting spiral staircase in split level room. I arrived on a Saturday night and it was so noisy. There were several bars and restaurants on the doorstep, all trying to be louder than the next one. It was the noisiest place I stayed in Colombia. I was going to move because of this but it wasn't as loud after Saturday. I booked a tour to the islands via reception and the organisation was terrible. Apart from the young guy, staff don't speak much English but they were patient and did their best to understand my bad Spanish.

• Mila (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was great, receptionists and the lovely lady, which was preparing the breakfast. We wanted to change the room after first night and they changed it without any hesitation. Hotel has a great location in the heart of Getsemani. Room was clean, minibar was full of water, Coca-Cola,biers and chocolate. Bed was very comfortable. We liked our stay very much and were fully satisfied. The bigg issue is the noise from the street and loud music during day and night, because of the location. The earplugs is a must.... if you want to sleep.

• Alexandra (10/5): Great location would stay again - Great location and ascetic. The staff are very attentive and helpful especially the younger guy who works in the evenings. I also appreciated the buzz in system.
• Elizabeth (9/5): Small pocket of fun - I loved the uniqueness ( spiral staircase) and basically the center of a party corner. The hotel is also directly above a convenience store. The room was quite small, though suited my needs.
• Katie (5/5): See above. - Location. Air conditioning Staff spoke minimal English — If any at all. There as no one to talk to about recommendations or tours. It was difficult to meet other people. The rooms had windows but no screen so because it was so hot you needed to close the shutters, therefore it was a dark room with no outside lighting.
• Adam (2/5): Avoid this place, what is shown on the photos is not what you get - I could use the wifi in the lobby. The room on booking.com that I reserved had nothing to do with the one they tried to accommodate me in. The latter was a room with hardly any space to turn around and more importantly no window that could have been opened. As my plane arrived in the night I got to the hotel around half past midnight. It was raining cats and dogs and I had look for other accommodation in the middle of the night. Avoid this place if you can.

• Aoife (6/5): Very central so it was good for me and my friend who didn’t want to be walking around at night, felt safe. The room is n - The location was great, everything is walkable It’s noisy at night but that expected. The breakfast was average for €30 a night
• Anonymous (8/5): Good stay overall. Breakfast was great every morning. - Centrally located with comfortable bed and good A/C Close to rooftop bars that play music all night long very loudly. If you are a light sleeper it will not work for you.
• Lance (7/5): Overall, everything else was good. - The hotel is safe and secure, very clean, prices are fair and the location is good. I didn’t like the staff turning off the air conditioning and returning back to a hot room after being out all day exhausted and sweating. This isn’t good practice which made it uncomfortable and take time for the room to cool down. Breakfast was ok, wish it had a more of a selection for breakfast and orange juice would be nice!
• María (8/5): In the heart of Getsemaní - The staff was extremely welcoming and nice! They offered help everytime I had questions. Plus the offered tours that helped me enjoy my short time in Cartagena as much as possible. Moreover, the location of the hotel is in the center of Getsemaní, which allowed me to walk everywhere in less than 10 minutes Because the hotel is in the center of Getsemaní, there is a lot of noise in the night. However, I guess that this happens in almost every hotel in the area
