- Freeland (7/5): - The hosts were really friendly! I liked how the studio was done up, it was cosy and I appreciated milk in the fridge so I could make tea upon arrival. There was a lot of spiders although I appreciate its that time of year! The wifi also wasnt very good.
- Roger (9/5): Very comfortable with grat hosts. We were offered lifts to and from a wedding we were attending. -
- Sharp (7/5): Ggood -

- John (8/5): A very pretty place in the pretty location - Small clean and very compact small clean and compact small clean and compact A bit too small and hard to find because the postcode did not match the place it was said it was at
- Chloe May (10/5): - The host went above and beyond for me giving me a lift to my friends wedding, it was a very peaceful stay and the little studio is very nicely done.
- K. (8/5): Prima. Pubs in de buurt. - Een mooi tiny cottage in Hawkhurst. Heerlijk omheinde tuin, veel privacy. Schoon. Klein cottage, maar voldoende. Aardige host. Er is 1 elektrisch pitje.
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect place, perfect host. - It was a lovely little place. Just outside the village but easy on route travel to several coastal towns. Nice private garden for dog and us too. Nothing.
- Haynes (9/5): Superb - The owner is very friendly, welcoming and kindly gifted us a free bottle of wine to compensate for the road diversions that were in place to the property at the time of our travel. It was very well located for our needs (we were selling at The Wealden Summer Fair) and an easy walk into Hawkhurst to the fabulous Eight Bells Pub. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our stay.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (10/5): Well equipped and brilliant little property with private garden. - Lovely location and beautiful private garden attached. Just what we needed and the owners on hand to help sort anything quickly.
- Andrew (10/5): Was lovely, hosts nothing was too much trouble would definitely stay again - Stunning - very peaceful Nothing
- Katarzyna (7/5): Good - The place was had a very nice view
- Denise (8/5): Bijou retreat. - A little bolt hole.
- A (8/5): Value for money studio. - Very lovely little studio nicely decorated, clean and smelling beautiful. Excellent toiletries. Well positioned in Hawkhurst and quiet. Nice little garden and privacy. Good walks on your doorstep and a decent pub nearby. Lovely host In this nicely furnished studio, there's no room for armchairs or sofa. There's no hot water from.any tap ( shower is perfectly fine), so that makes for a less comfortable stay in an ideal world.
- Alice (10/5): Very nice and comfortable stay, the owner was very attentive and had recommendations for places to go - Comfy bed, very clean and thoughtful owner:
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Access to double bed was from one side only.
No hot water to sink or basin.
- Gavin (9/5): Superb -
- Niki (10/5): Perfectly peaceful - Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location for a peaceful nights sleep, having a private fully enclosed garden was a huge plus for the dog, he had a great time!
Will definitely be staying again in the future
- Ella (9/5): Great stay, brilliant hosts! - The host is lovely, nothing was too much bother. They set up the BBQ for us and left out all the supplies we would need. Fresh milk in the fridge for when we arrived. Clear communication. Easy parking. Great stay! The shower didn't work very well, constantly going between boiling hot and ice cold.
- Sue (9/5): Excellent, will book again - Very comfortable and perfect for two people and a dog Kitchen facilities a bit confusing
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect stay in comfiest bed - Comfiest bed! Studio has electric radiator which warms everything up really quickly. Great space for my laptop where I could work. I slept really well through the storms. Own parking space and outside space.
- Elizabeth (9/5): very comfy - Very helpful hosts who went that extra mile - quite literally. They even kindly gave us a lift into the village nearby. heating creaks a little during the night - we solved that by turning thermostat down.
- Kate (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent, very close to where we needed to be. The space was compact, warm and cosy, very suitable for our requirements, in a very peaceful setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
- Perlaki (10/5): 10/10 would recommend - Great place, warm and cosy. Flexible with check in. Great location with nice walks from the front door. Quick WiFi which was good enough to work from. TV with netflix and Amazon etc. Friendly hosts. Would 100% stay here again
- Mike (7/5): A small quiet corner of the Garden of England - A lovely quiet corner of Kent to get away from mobile phones and the Internet. The garden was a haven of tranquillity. Internet access was poor and often non-existent, with subsequent lack of TV.
The small sink in the toilet was inadequate for washing/shaving, not helped by the lack of hot water.
There was only one side of the bed to get out of which is difficult for those of advancing years.
The kitchen area only had microwave, which would have been a problem for a longer stay
- Susan (8/5): Overall a very nice stay. thank you :) - The location and the enclosed garden were great with the dog, very relaxing. The owner is really friendly and the price for the accommodation was good. Good for a short stay. Nice touches with the coffee, tea bags and milk. The shower room could have been a bit bigger, bit tight to move around and a hot water tap would have been good in the kitchen area.
- Laura (7/5): Pretty place but needs attention to cleanliness. - Pretty little studio with cosy interior, lovely comfortable bed and a great enclosed garden for our dog. The cleanliness was not up to standard, needs attention for sure, the sun lounger cushions were dirty and full of dog hair which put us off using them. Kitchen area just wasnt as clean as you'd expect it to be, the cupboard fronts were grimy, the fridge had a big hair in it and felt it needed a good clean, which was off putting! And old dog hairs around the bottom of the skirting boards 🙄 The bin under the sink was also not emptied from the previous occupants, and no spare bin bags either, basic things that let the place down.
- Lorraine (4/5): Cute overnight stay .. - Was cute and had a nice little garden No hot water in the sink or basin, was tiny so really only suitable for an overnight, not easy to find as lacked signage. Did not have facilities listed on booking.com bed waS comfy though and a peaceful place. Hosts daughter was super helpful
- Bruce (9/5): I would recommend this place for friends to stay. - a lovely private garden very quiet. a compact little studio with all the necessities for a 6 night stay. a comfortable bed.
the host was extremely helpful,
- Sam (10/5): A perfect place for a restful and creative retreat. - Tranquil, comfortable and beautifully presented - lovely garden.
- Courtney (9/5): A lovely place to relax and enjoy the garden views. Enough space to spread out a bit - The studio was very comfortable and quiet. I was not felling well and was in the perfect place to recuperate. Access was a little tight but you can't blame the English roads! Hot water was limited to the shower or the water kettle but it did not stop me from doing all that i needed. Smallest sink i have ever seen in the bathroom but large enough for washing your hands and brushing teeth.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Exactly as expected and described. The host was super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. 😁
- Thomas (10/5): Cosy comfortable stay surrounded by greenery - Cosy studio, very comfortable bed, clean throughout. Great location for the village/pub and for trips locally (Rye, Bedgebury etc). Friendly welcome. Lovely private garden. Parking was the only challenge - would be fine in a smaller car though. Other than that, a very pleasant stay.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (7/5): Comfy, dog-friendly studio - Nicely styled. Very comfy bed. Lovely secluded dog-safe garden. Owner very keen to please. No hot water facility to kitchen or (tiny) bathroom sink. Cleaning needs more attention.
