• johg05 (10/5): Magnifique - Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Casa Pereirinha. Le logement est spacieux, très bien équipé. Les matériaux bruts font tout le charme de la maison. Les plus: la piscine, la vue, le calme, et l'espace jeux pour les enfants. Nous avons eu également des petits cadeaux de bienvenue. Tout était parfait Un grand merci aux hôtes pour cet agréable séjour. L'accès à la propriété est un peu raide mais comme la plupart des résidences sur l'île.

• Ilja (9/5): Cozy Cottage House with fireplace and pool - We liked the house — it’s a cozy place in a quiet location with a beautiful view, a fireplace, and a pool. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the poor sound insulation.

• Sebastian (7/5): Schöne Unterkunft - Es war alle da, was man für den Urlaub dort gebraucht hat. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war super. Außerdem war die Kommunikation mit Anna sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Es gab sogar bei 2 Wochen eine kostenlose Zwischenreinigung. Die Waschmaschine und der Wäscheständer war für uns als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kinder goldwert. Leider bestehen die Wände rein aus Holz. Daher hört man in jedem Zimmer alles. Zudem war es Anfang sehr kalt, da das Haus nicht isoliert ist. Als es draußen wärmer wurde war es in Ordnung. Den Pool konnte wir kaum nutzen, da er nicht geheizt ist und in der Höhenlage des Hauses die Temperatur im Mai noch recht frisch war.

• Laure (10/5): Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cette maison spacieuse et agréable, avec une vue imprenable et une piscine - Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la maison, spacieuse et bien équipée, l’emplacement idéal pour explorer l’île, ainsi que la piscine et la vue imprenable qui rendent chaque moment encore plus agréable. Dans l’ensemble, tout était parfait. Seul petit détail : nous avons remarqué une légère odeur de remontée dans les salles de bain, mais cela n’a pas gâché notre séjour.

• Elenab. (9/5): The comfiest sofa, the best windows and what a view! - What a beautiful house! With amazing huge windows overlooking the fields and the sea. We could have spent hours just chilling in the spacious living room full of natural lights (special mention to the best sofa ever!). The pool area is also very nice, with enough sunbeds for both chalets (it is shared). The bed was comfortable and the 2 bathrooms more than big enough, allowing 2 couples to have enough privacy while sharing the lovely common areas. Kitchen is big and well-equipped and there's also a barbecue area close to the pool, shared with the other chalet. The wifi is working well - i'd recommend this home also for remote work! We also appreciated the flexibility for arrival and departure time. I suggest adding a few more outside chairs for the balcony (there were only 2 and we were 4 people).
• Alice (9/5): A superb spot out of the busy city - The location had a fabulous view down to the ocean with panoramic windows. The accommodation was very modern with lovely little touches like welcome gifts & additional items for my toddler, which were very well received. The pool was lovely to have on warmer days with a wonderfully hot outdoor shower. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. To get to the property it is off the main road and up a narrow, steep hill but we hired a car to use for the time we were there so not a problem for us. Ana was very helpful and always on hand with any answers to questions. We also had a resident cat that would say hello to us each day, we didn't let it in but it definitely tried! Very friendly and my son loved it. The area in general was nice, nothing around the villa in terms of walking but a short drive down to Calheta beaches and restaurants. There's a wine bar just round the corner which we tried to go to several times but either wasn't open or didn't quite time it right with our toddler - I think worth a look though if you like wine and are not restricted by times! We also had an excellent pizza (one of the best I've had) alongside some exceptional ice cream down on the harbour front. Manifattura Di Gelato restaurant. Worth a try, even just for an ice cream. Only downside was we didn't realise you could heat the pool until it was too late, we would've spent a lot more time in the pool with our toddler but was a little chilly in May to stay in that long. Just a note to ask if you aren't going during the super hot months.
