• nono (10/5): - 1. Location The accommodation is located on one of the most beautiful parts of the lake. It’s also close to the Schafbergbahn train station and the town center, making it a perfect base for exploring all the main attractions. I traveled by rental car, and the dedicated parking area made it very convenient. 2. Condition of the accommodation The place is beautifully and neatly decorated in a warm wooden tone. The furniture and kitchen utensils are all well-equipped. Since the nearby supermarket closes around 6–7 PM, it was fun to buy some ingredients in advance and cook at the apartment. 3. Other notes There aren’t many shops or restaurants right around the accommodation, so it’s best suited for guests traveling by car. But it’s wonderfully quiet, and the mountain scenery and cows behind the property are so lovely. I also enjoyed going for a morning run along the lake right outside the accommodation, and cooking meals there was a great experience. Highly recommended! 4. Good to know As it’s an eco-friendly property, daily cleaning or extra towels may not be provided for short stays, so it’s good to use towels sparingly. I didn’t know this and had to make an extra request — thank you again for accommodating me! (It’s also a good idea to bring your own slippers.) There’s salt and pepper available, but no olive oil, so you might want to pick up a small bottle from the supermarket for cooking. The cups, dishes, cutlery, and kitchen tools are all perfect. I had such a wonderful stay and truly lovely memories :)

• Petra (10/5): Perfect place to stay at Wolfgangsee - From the moment we arrived at Haus Alpenblick, we were genuinely impressed. The exterior was stunning—clearly newly renovated—and the interior exceeded our expectations even more. Our apartment was beautifully designed, with high-quality materials and furnishings that were evident from the very first glance. Despite being on the lowest floor, we enjoyed a lovely view thanks to the hillside location. During our travels, we've stayed in many accommodations, but there was always something essential missing. At Haus Alpenblick, however, everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with well-maintained cookware, plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and more. Usually, we bring our own sponge and cloths because many places lack these basics—but here, everything was ready for a truly comfortable stay. The location was ideal: just a short walk to the lake and town center, yet wonderfully peaceful. It served as the perfect base for our outings, sightseeing, and swimming.

Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus Für ältere Leute war es ein bißchen anstrengend vom See zum Haus zu Fuß hoch zu gehen. Eine Pfanne mit Teflonbeschichtung hat mir gefehlt

I will never forget the impressive views and the comfort that the apartment offers. - The apartment has stunning views of the lake and the pasture land. The living room and the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect as it is not far from the town and at the same time, you can enjoy a tranquil environment of nature. The cow bells chime so beautifully that one seems to be in heavenly state. One of the bathrooms inside the bedroom does not have doors. It lacks the privacy that one requires.

• Peter (10/5): einfach wunderschön! - Wir haben uns im Haus Alpenblick rundum wohlgefühlt. Alles war sehr hochwertig, neu und genauso wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Besonders der wunderschöne Blick auf den Wolfgangsee hat uns begeistert! Der Check-in war völlig unkompliziert, der Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. In nur 3–4 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Ortszentrum – perfekte Lage also. Wir würden uns freuen, unseren Urlaub hier wieder einmal verbringen zu dürfen. Absolute Empfehlung!

• Tom (9/5): Great apartment. Need improvement on customer service. - Very nice apartment, great view of the wolfgangsee! The furniture, kitchen and beds are all very high quality, and we really enjoy it. May I missed it, but I don’t recall any mention of wolfgangsee card and guest mobility tickets during our booking and check-in, so we wasn’t aware of them until we’ve stayed for 2 days. It’s good that the hotel provide them quickly after requested, but it’d be better if the hotel communicate that in advance. There’s no washing machine in this hotel. And it’s unbelievable that the nearest laundering service is in Bad Ischl which is 30 minutes bus away!
• Luísa (9/5): Delightful and romantic. - The apartment is lovely and the view from the balcony is really special. It’s a really big spacious balcony also, we loved spending evenings there watching the sunset. It’s perfect for a weekend trip! Short walk downhill to the lake and a very nice promenade that takes you to the cute town. We needed to walk a long flight of stairs to get back to the apartment from the lake but to be honest it’s worth it to have such an amazing view from the apartment.

• Lili (4/5): Disappointing - The most anticipated accommodation during our more than 20 day trip, but I was very disappointed. I thought it was a personal apartment, but in fact, it was a hotel that did not accept children under 14 years old. When we arrived, we found out that we needed to open the accommodation policy, which stated that only children over 14 years old were welcome. The front desk staff explained that it was because this was a new hotel and children would mess up here. The staff even suggested that we could find another hotel for my 4-years-old kid but we couldn't get a refund. I refused of course. How come to find a new hotel immediately? In the end, the hotel owner agreed to let our 4-years-old child stay in the same bed with us, but we had to pay a daily fee of 100 euros. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and spent a total of over 1570 euros. But I want to say that this hotel is not worth the price. The lake view room on the second floor is not as described in the introduction. The hotel is located some distance from lake, and the lake view from the room is half blocked by trees. It is also recommended that hotels may learn from other hotels. If children are not accepted, please write it clearly in a prominent location. Finally, i would highly recommend anyone is considering book this hotel think about the higher price and lower view.Its very low cost-effectiveness. The 3-day tour made us realize that,you can stay at a hotel closer to the lake and with a private diving platform at a lower price.

• Loulwah (9/5): Spacious and new - The place is very neat. Everything is new and spacious, including the bathroom and the balcony, which is huge. I appreciated that the place was quiet and very clean, in addition to the sofa bed, which was comfortable and all set for my son when we arrived. The 2 tvs in the living room and the bedroom were appreciated too. It's a 12 minute walk to the public lake, which was perfect on a hot day. The host was very helpful, too. The location wasn't great, it's a 25-minute walk to the city center, no services nearby and it took us a while to know the location of the place.
