• Tracey (9/5): - Casa Gelferraro is a traditional sicilian country house in a beautiful peaceful area which has a rustic but homely feel, with an orchard of oranges and lemons allowing you to make fresh orange juice / hot lemon drink if in season. The house has everything that you need and Andrea is such a kind hearted soul that will assist you with anything that you need. He was even kind enough to get us some food in so we had something to eat after arriving so late in the evening. It helped to have a vehicle so we were able to reach the hot thermals (25 min drive), Trapini Airport (30mins) and just over an hours drive to Palermo.. I can not wait to go back. The furniture was a little out dated but that's what I liked about this place to give it a traditional sicilian vibe.
• PHILIPPE (10/5): L’accueil d’Andreas au top ! - La qualité de l’accueil d’Andréas, le propriétaire, qui vous accueille avec pizzettas et arancini, et vous gâte à votre départ : bouteilles, pkats cuisinés, arancini… La situation proche du parc archéologique de Segesta (temple et amphithéâtre), et à 30 mn de Trapani. Le calme de la villa, un peu isolée de la route. Le mobilier et la décoration sont datés, mais c’est propre et confortable, on n’y fait plus attention au bout de quelques heures. Au plus chaud de l’été, il manquerait peut-être la climatisation. Mais mi-octobre ce n’est pas nécessaire, au contraire. La villa dispose de chauffages d’appoint électriques pour palier à la fraîcheur de la nuit.
• Sunil (10/5): Andrea is very nice person. House is good for 10-11 adults. All the necessary things are made available by owner. - We connected to famous landmarks in area Traditional Sicilian style house so might get cold at night. Owner had provided heater in all room
• Jimmy (10/5): Exceptional - Although it's an old house, it's well kept. Situated in the middle of fields and very relaxing. The owner Andrea is very helpful and kind.
• Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Its located in a very nice area surrounded with nature, from a main road one easily enter the property and house is further in so for kids its very good. The house is as shown on pics nothing extraordinary furnished the old way but for me was super good and we had all what we needed. Plus its spacious. Pool is not big but ok. The owner is very nice greated us very nicely and made sure we are happy he even told us to cut what fruits we wanted from his trees. And he even put some juice,water,wine and beer in the fridge for us. Nice parking area too. By car one can easily find a restaurant not more than 10mins far away.
• Rosalind (9/5): Great place to start our holiday, the house is comfortable and a very good price - We had a lovely stay in Casa Gelferraro. It's very easy to reach from Trapani Airport which is great if you're on a late flight like we were. The house is big and comfortably accommodated 10 people. The location is wonderful, you need a car to explore but it's tucked away in the beautiful Sicilian countryside amidst orange groves and mulberry trees. Andrea, the owner, provided us with his own olive oil, eggs and vegetables which was really generous of him and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again. Depending on what you like the house is a typical rural accommodation, it's not luxurious but for us it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. You need a car to get to places & shops.
