It took us a while to unblock the credit cards and process the payment. They also requested a deposit of 300 euros! • sherste (8/5): - The apartment was close to everything but relatively quiet. Be mindful there are three flights of stairs to apartment, and the bathroom is off the main bedroom. The reading nook was just lovely to sit with a good book and a caffe. The view from the balony was amazing especially at night with the church lit up.
• ELEFTHERIA (7/5): - The apartment was in a central location with a very nice view from the window. There was no elevator to take our luggage up to the 4th floor and it only had disposable shower gel for a 4-day stay, but no coffee or other amenities.

Sporchissimi A terra c’erano pezzi di gomma carta, stecchini di cibo cinese usati pezzi di forchette di plastica polvere accantonata capelli. Anche dopo una sommaria pulizia fatta il giorno dopo la situazione non è migliorata. Nell’Andare da una stanza all’altra con le calze si raccoglieva polvere e capelli. Bagno nkn pulito carta igienica sporca attaccata allo spazzoloneX Cuscini e Lenzuola non pulite. Letto rumoroso con tavolaccio che faceva rumore ad ogni movimento. Asciugamani maleodoranti. sedie e divani in stoffa sporchi unti e con macchie di olio e di di sporcizia anche sui cuscini. Cibo aperto in dispensa … penso sia la peggior situazione in cui ci siamo trovati in tanti anni in cui viaggiamo.
• Helena (5/5): - De locatie Geen toegang tot apartement ivm fout in opgegeven toegangscode! Doven dien was de lift defect, en moeten de oudjes(83 +} hun zware koffers zelf naar boven zeulen. Ook bleek de afvoer v d wastafel op de badkamer verstopt, en kon daarom niet gebruikt worden. Ook de Communicatie met de beheerder was uiters moeizaam. Vaak niet bereikbaar. Door al deze zaken hebben we veel te veel betaald voor een apartement met zoveel defecten. Een korting van € 100,- per nacht zou gerechtvaardigd zijn. Wij zijn benieuwd naar U reactie. A.Willing

Molte prese non funzionano, come le stufette messe a disposizione. Le stoviglie sono solo per fare una colazione, ma non un pranzo e una cena.

• Abbey (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never known hosts care so little about their guests. Dirty and stressful. - The location is great. The apartment was booked for its beautiful location- I planned to spend many an hour on its three balconies over looking independence square and the sea in the distance. Unfortunately, there was so much actual animal feces (pictured) that this was not possible. I have never seen a residence so filthy. I asked repeatedly for help and cleaning. We were there nearly a week. Towards the end of the week some was cleaned off, but the areas pictured remained, they didn’t even touch the worst bits, even the cleaner didn’t want to go near it. We stayed as a family using the sofa bed to sleep two of the four of us- the sofa bed was unbelievably broken; fully uncomfortable and with the bed tilted up so you couldn’t sleep in it (also pictured) Again, we reported it. Again, it was left all week without fixing. The whole apartment lacked care. Plugs didn’t work. There was a convection hob with pans that weren’t compatible. Tiles were dented (stubbed toes). The apartment was pretty but could not have had less care taken of it; style over substance in every way. The actual poo on the property was unforgivable. I was shocked by the amount of times I reached out for help to the property managers to receive nothing back but empty words. As an additional note- in the build up to our holiday, I asked for information about where we were going to minimise stress on travelling day. This company insisted on ignoring these requests. On the day of travel, when I was flying and had no access to my phone, they then wanted to property tax and details over the phone. Firstly, the link they sent didn’t work. Secondly, when I eventually managed to sort this (after flying, which was stress)they then didn’t get back to me with the property address or log in code for hours! This meant we landed and shlept around Malta completed stranded. The lack of care towards their guests is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. They didn’t care that it was our holiday and that we wanted it to be stress free.
• Moira (1/5): Extremely disappointed with the apartment - The location was fantastic. The view from the penthouse is exceptional It is not as advertised. Nearly everything in the apartment is dirty or damaged, there is a huge issue with the hot water,that the hosts are in denial about. The cistern makes noise through out the night and as it is by the main bed downstairs it is very difficult to sleep with the constant running noise it makes. The stairs in the apartment is incredibly dangerous- I don't feel it would be suitable for a larger person, people with mobility issues or any children. The futon upstairs is extremely uncomfortable- ended up sleeping on the floor beside it after night two. The smart tv is broken with a line going through it and two different colours on display. Although the balcony has a spectacular view, nearly all the furniture on it is damaged and broken so you can not sit comfortably outside. I travel regularly and have never been so disappointed with an apartment. I cannot believe how much they charge for this apartment when it is in such appalling conditions

Glass door on bathroom, plus handle kept falling off. Kitchen not well equipped. Management not flexible to put twin beds in room. Small space for 4 people.

No matras cover and bed sheets very old. not very clean, stains on the wall and dust. Windows havent been cleaned in a long time. certainly not what you expect for an appartment in this price range.

• Jesus Carlos (8/5): Good value for money in the city center - The location is very good in the city center of Valletta. The terrace due to the pigeons was so dirty and not available to use as equal to the balcony of the main floor bedroom. The first floor washbasin is not comfortable to a taller persons and should be object to future enhancement. The property is hidden to the user and doesn’t have any indicator or signal to find it well.

Materassi sznza copri materasso Poca pulizia della parte esterna La prenotazione non si cocludz con booking ma va poi fatta tramite un link e per me è stato difficile concluderla non accattava la carta di credito inoltre viene trattenuta una caparra di 300€ questa cosa andrebbe comunicata anche da booking altrimenti mi devono permettere di rinunciare senza costi.

• Francesca (4/5): - Online check in was a disaster. Was having issues uploading document. When calling the phone kept disconnecting and after finally getting through they kept insisting for over 30mins that I should upload document even though I sent them a copy via email and told them it's not going through. It was really cold outside and it was only when it started to rain that they removed the uploading of documents from the check in process. This was a last minute booking but will never again return or recommend. Also check out at 10am is too early despite them having no other bookings.

• Madalina (9/5): Super - The location is very, very good. You can explore Malta very easily by foot and get to the central bus station in Valetta in 15 minutes. The bathroom is beautiful, but you don’t have any privacy unfortunately. You can hear everything through the walls. I feel like the A/C wasn’t powerful enough to heat all the rooms of the apartment. There was a mosquito in the room and it bothered us every night.

La struttura non gli importava niente delle nostre segnalazioni. Dava colpa alla compagnia elettrica. Quando tutti appartenenti dí sotto avevano la luce (stavamo a 5 piano senza ascensore) solo il nostro era senza energia elettrica.

• olivia (10/5): TOP location, view, design - The loved the location and the view, but be aware that there is no elevator, our apartment was on the third floor, even with the child it was not a huge problem. The apartment itself was neat and well designed.

• Silvia (8/5): Vacanze di Natale a Malta - Posizione ottima in centro a La Valletta .Cucina con forno, forno a microonde, piano a induzione e macchinetta caffe' molto utili. Secondo letto (divano letto) con materasso molto scomodo. Si sentono molto le molle. Finestra con maniglia rotta che si apriva con il vento. Consiglio la sostituzione di entrambi.

• Marina (3/5): Con que hubiera estado limpio hubiera valido!! - Solo la ubicación Estaba súper sucio, movimos un sofá para tener más espacio y encontramos allí de todo. Tuvimos que poner el colchón del sofá en el suelo porque era imposible dormir en el sofá de lo mal que estaba. El único baño estaba dentro de una de las habitaciones … Había poco menaje y estaba sucísimo, cafetera con moho, cazo y sartén sin limpiar…
• Dušan (1/5): Location very good but our experience with apartment is very low. - Location is very good, in center of Valletta. - The host is very slow in communication. Be prepared to wait 12 hours if you send a message after 6–7 pm. - The air conditioning system works very poorly. - The bed for the third person(sofa) is very uncomfortable for sleeping. - The apartment is not clean, it’s dusty and there are spiders in every room. - If you want to turn on cartoons for children, the software for streaming programs (Amazon Prime) is not working properly. - They provided a baby cot without a blanket. How is it possible for a baby to sleep without anything?! - The Wi-Fi shown in the apartment is not working, so you will need to contact support, and if you send a message after 6 or 7 pm you’ll need to wait until the next day. - The apartment is full of mosquitoes. When you kill 10 of them, be prepared for 20 more—get ready for revenge. :) They come through the ventilation system.
• Stefan (3/5): - The location was good. The style of the apartment was, interesting. The booking procedure was complicated. They wanted to charge us for the baby cot, which is a pretty unprofessional business practice. Also the dish rack was rusty and unacceptable to put clean dishes, especially for the baby.
• Christian (9/5): - L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter La Valette. L'appartement est très grand, très bien équipé.Il est au 3ème étage, sans ascenseur, cela permet d'avoir une belle vue. La rue est calme. Rien ! L'appartement est prévu pour 2 couples, la configuration de la SdB et des WC, oblige à traverser la chambre pour de couple dormant dans le séjour.

• Eneida (5/5): - Location, nice vintage feel. But thats about it . Mosquitos everywhere , and they were a clear problem for others as well cause you would notice mosquito marks on the walls and ceiling. we couldn’t figure out how they would get in the house after checking all doors and windows were shut. The noises from outside water splashing every time someone flushed the toilets . And the neighbors walking and talking from the hallways. The bathroom had no actual tap but a whole from the top mirror that splashed you everywhere and the size of the bathroom was so tiny you could barely move in there. Our second floor bedroom had no door , and my friend’s apartment since we booked 2 of them only had 1 bathroom that walked in from the bedroom for the whole apartment. Outlets are british style and we had very little adapters to put appliances on. Our mattresses had no mattress covers :( - they would move and we had contact with the mattress. The pillows were so flat that you must fold them in half to get some comfort. Another very uncommon and inconvenient thing was that our booking specified that it was pay upon arrival and they asked for us to make a bank transfer and send ua links that initially had major it errors and they wouldn’t work properly meanwhile the moneys from pur accounts would be withdrawn- we kept on going back and forth asking to check if they received payments since the link sent wouldn’t finale the payment even after withdrawing the funds. Also asked for a deposit after we had made the booking online. Theres no staff to help.

• Maryna (9/5): Really great apartment in the center of Valletta - Very good located apartment in the city center but not right in the crowded streets. We were allowed to drop our luggages before check in, thanks to the host. Just a bit of noise from the streets, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

• Imke101 (5/5): Wouldnt stay again due to the mosquito infestation - The location was perfect, just a few minutes walking and you're right in the heart of Valletta The apartment is infested with mosqitos. We realised this after the first night staying there when our 8 month old woke with mosquito bites all over her face, we were also covered. It became clear other guests had the same problem as we noticed blood marks all over the walls which we added to after swatting the mosquitos! Clearly a problem in the building (stagnant water somewhere) as lots of other guests have said the same

• Misz (3/5): - The location is great, close to restaurants, shops, attractions The apartment was very dirty, dust everywhere, moldy old coffee in the coffee maker, previous guests' underwear behind the bed. There are bedbugs in the upper bedroom—my friends were bitten. There is no daylight in the kitchen, it was supposed to be a terrace but it was a shabby balcony overlooking the street and a dilapidated building opposite.

• KATARZYNA (1/5): - Zarządca apartamentu podał nam zły kod do drzwi wejściowych. Przyleciałyśmy do Valetty ok 19;30, nikt nie odebrał wiadomości od nas i podał prawidłowego kodu. Noc spędzilyśmy na klatce schodowej. Nie polecam tego miejsca. Nie chcą oodać nam pieniędzy za noc spędzoną na schodach. Booking też nie wykazał żadnej inicjatywy w tej sprawie.
• Nicholas (8/5): Can’t fault the location - Can’t fault the location, and it’s quite attractive inside. The toilet and bathroom are only accessible through one of the bedrooms, so be sure only to book this with close friends!
• Annina (7/5): Sehr gute Lage - Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man kann die Stadt perfekt zu Fuss erkunden. Es gibt viele tolle Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Das Badezimmer ist nur über das zweite Schlafzimmer erreichbar. OK für Familien, nicht für Paare. Polstermöbel sind schmuddelig, schade. Die Fenster sind undicht. Es lag ein gebrauchtes Frottiertuch herum.

Bezpośrednio pod apartamentem nie ma żadnego lokalu, co powoduje, że jest względnie cicho, biorąc pod uwagę, że jest to centrum stolicy, która słynie z życia nocnego. Natomiast wg mapy google adres apartamentu znajduje się po innej stronie miasta niż faktycznie. Powoduje to trudność w znalezieniu noclegu, zamówieniu taksówki, trudność z dojazdem karetki! Przed zameldowaniem przy poszukiwaniu adresu Gospodarz odebrał telefon, ale nie wyszedł z inicjatywą wyjścia po nas, nie zrobił tak naprawdę nic, aby nam pomóc znaleźć apartament, za wyjątkiem powtarzania który numer i które drzwi. Brak udogodnień - w łazience nie ma nawet wieszaka, aby powiesić ręcznik, półki, zupełnie nic. Brak małych lampek (poza sypialnią), słabo wyposażona kuchnia, stare nieszczelne okna. Wygoda sofy - tragiczna. Stara sofa z materacem, który wbija się w trakcie spania. Materac powinien był trafić na śmietnisko dawno temu. Czystość - dramat. Stara gąbka do mycia naczyń, na podłodze jakieś stare bilety czy paragony. Dodatkowo coś nas pogryzło. Nie wiem czy były to pluskwy czy cokolwiek innego, ale było to obrzydliwe. Dodatkowo, każdej nocy o tej samej porze włączało się coś, co straszliwie buczało; jakoś przed 4 nad ranem.
• Erika (6/5): Szállásadó figyelmetlenségéből eredően nem megfelelően felszerelt, egyébként jó helyen,jó áron. - A szállás elhelyezkedése és az ár-érték arány. Az ingatlan felszereltsége silány, 4 ember elszállásolására nem alkalmas, két egyszemélyes paplan volt a szekrényben, huzat nélkül, az ágyon csak lepedő. A konyhában igaz kávéfőz volt, de hozzá való kávé filter/kapszula, esetleg cukor nem (nulla figyelmesség), kenyérpirító nincs, egy normális kés sem, nem volt elég wc papír, papírtörlő, még egy fakanál sem, hogy esetleg tudj egy rántottát készíteni.. A kanapé kényelmetlen, nem lehet rajta aludni, a fürdőszobában nem lehet szelleztőtni, a szoba ablakait kinyitva zajos, szúnyogokkal teli éjszakát eredményez. A szállást csak a megadott időben lehetett elfoglalni, ellenben felárat kértek a korábbi érkezésért/későbbi távozásért. Becsekkolás előtt depositot kell fizetni, esetleg károkozás ellen, amelyet vagy magas összegben terhelnek és visszajár, vagy vissza sem jár. A szállásadó külön emaileket küldözgetett a szemétgyűjtéssel kapcsolatban is, ellenben megfelelő szemeteszsákok a szelektív hulladékgyűjtéshez nem volt. A prospektus, ami ki van téve, nem naprakész, wifi kódot is külön kellett kérni. A zár kóddal ellátott, nehezen nyitható. Fürdőszobában nem tudsz lepakolni, nincs egy fogas sem, amire a törülközőt fel tudnád akasztani, szárítani.
• Loreena (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - Location We had a terrible experience staying at the Independance lovely apartments from start to finish. . The first problem being they gave us the wrong apartment! We paid for the larger penthouse as it was a special occasion. We also messaged them to make sure the correct apartment was booked and they sent pictures to confirm this so we felt totally assured and on arrival when realising it was a smaller apartment they agreed when we contacted them it was the wrong apartment however didn’t try to fix it so we had no choice but to stay here. There was very little hot water during our whole stay we we had take Luke warm/ cold showers. We told the apartments and they said they’d try to get it resolved but no one came to fix it. The door to the apartment locked and the code wouldn’t work on 2 occasions leaving us locked out and late for a dinner the apartments came to sort this and on the second occasion. We were on our way to a wedding and ended up emailing all day regarding the situation. On the last night the main door on the the street locked out and the system looked for 10 min at a time. We rang the apartments 10 times and they cut our calls off and never replied at all until the following morning when we were on the plane back home. We were lucky enough to finally get in. Very very disappointing when we paid a fortune for these apartments and we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. They didn’t even leave us a bottle of water! Don’t waste your money staying in these apartments.

• Maria vanessa (8/5): Volveremos - El alojamiento está muy cerca de todo, nos gustó mucho la estancia. Al entrar estaba todo muy limpio lo que no nos gustó que no limpiaban los mosquitos pegados en la pared de otras personas haberlos matados, el colchón del sofá cama un poco incómodo y las almohadas pero por lo demás todo estupendo.
