- Tommie (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Beautiful location and a very comfortable property. Quiet and picturesque! Off the beaten path with no tourists. Well equipped and modern kitchen. Everything in this home was new and modern.

- Arjan (8/5): - Mooi vakantiehuisje in prachtige omgeving. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er Het was er erg warm. Omdat we met z’n tweeën waren hadden ze het andere bed niet opgemaakt. Ook konden we de spullen daarvoor niet vinden. Verder was alles prima
- Hannah (10/5): Excellent! Thank you! - Host was helpful and house was newly finished and spotless! Nothing
- Laura (10/5): The house was very nice and clean with nice amenities and close to Thingvellir. - Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!
- Murray (8/5): Very good - Great hot tub with views of the aurora borealis. Well equipped for self catering including useful things like oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, herbs and more that you certainly don’t usually get in UK. Was very well heated (possibly too hot!)
- Nancy (8/5): Cute cabin - Nice, clean cabin. Really cute inside. Outside lights trimming the house stayed on all night and could not find a switch to turn them off. We were hoping to see the northern lights, but too cloudy. However, with all the lights on outside, not sure it would have been dark enough to see them anyway. No extra towels available for the hot tub. Shower door seemed to be missing a section so could not keep shower water totally enclosed in the shower. The bath mat got soaked.
- Ashley (9/5): Superb - Super clean, great views, easy instructions. No cozy blankets.

- Gala (7/5): Lakeside cabin with huge potential - Lovely lakeside location less than an hour from Reykjavík. It was perfect for a weekend out of town. The cabin is quite big and very new. It is well equipped with everything such as cooking and grilling utensils, bluetooth speakers, and cozy blankets. It is very comfortable and you don't have to worry about bringing too many things if you just want to spend time in the cabin and surrounding areas. It is quite obvious that the place is very newly built/in the process of renovation. You can see some construction materials outside, and the ceiling insulation is still visible in the covered deck area. This is fine and the place has huge potential but there are some things that I think should be finished before the place is rented out, mainly:
- The shower's glass was still missing panels (you can see in the existing ones where the additional ones are to be attached, it is not a design flaw, just unfinished), and the floor isn't angled enough to properly drain the water, so the bathroom floods when you use the shower.
- There is some issue with the lights, we couldn't use about half the ceiling lights because they keep flickering if you switch them on.
The hot tub water was lukewarm and we couldn't find any obvious way to increase the temperature, maybe a page with instructions could help with that.
Overall, these are quite easy fixes, and once resolved I think this is a wonderful place to stay and would definitely recommend it.
- Christopher (9/5): Beautiful location and (almost) perfectly equipped. - A lovely summer house in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning mountain views by a gorgeous lake and close by the fjord with Hvammsvik hot springs baths and Glymur waterfall - highlights from our week in Iceland. We also loved the hot tub! The ONLY negative was in some of the kitchen facilities. At home and where we've stayed elsewhere we're used to having a kettle and a microwave. Add these - and some larger cups - and it would be perfect. Even without these, we'd love to stay again!
- Deborah (10/5): We had the most perfect stay for a very special wedding - Beautiful location it catered for all our needs There was nothing to not like just wish we had stayed longer
