• Vanessa (10/5): Brilliant boutique hotel in the heart of Samarkand - Loved Hanifa Boutique Hotel. Reception are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and beautiful woodwork throughout the building. Five minute walk from The Registan and puts all major sights in easy reach. And the breakfasts are outstanding. Served individually with delicious local options, fruit, freshly cooked eggs and pastries. So good!

L'hôtel est au calme car situé au fond d'une petite impasse accessible uniquement à pied. D'un autre coté, le Registan est vraiment tout proche. Très bon accueil, avec par moment quelques mots de français de la part du réceptionniste présent en journée. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix.

Definitely good value for money. As previous reviews have mentioned the property is down a small alley. Plus the mattress was extremely hard even by Uzbekistan standards.

• Wai Hong (9/5): Excellent staff but access is not easy - Front desk was very helpful with organising a trip to Imam Bukhari Complex and answering my questions about Samarkand. They even prepared a lunch box for me when I had an early train. Walking distance to Registan Square There’s a small alley before reaching the hotel. There were water puddles after a rain due to poor drainage. The street in front of the hotel was also poorly lit.

He also arranged for a very early morning airport transfer last minute due to an unforseen flight schedule change. He was up at 5 am to make sure our ride was here. Great hospitality! Location is perfect. Very quiet, yet close to all there is to see in Khiva.

• Carol (10/5): A great stay with amazing staff. - Assad was absolutely amazing! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We loved chatting with him. He found a great guide who made arrangements for a rabbi to meet us at the usually closed synagogue. The rooms and breakfast were all great too. And the location is super close to the Registon.

• Myra (10/5): Perfect. - Clean comfortable room in small charming hotel. Breakfast began at 8 but when I said I had to be by the Registon for an 8:30 pickup they gave me my breakfast at 7:30. So sweet. Great location. Man at reception was a doll. Hate don’t flush the toilet paper toilets but those are pretty common in Uzbekistan so I assume sewer system is temperamental. Also note credit cards not accepted.

• Jane (9/5): Rigtig fint ophold. - Hotellet havde en god beliggenhed, kun 5 minutters gang fra Registan Square. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og venlige. Det var nemt at gå til alt det, man gerne ville se. Sengene var meget hårde sammenlignet med andre hotellet. Vores værelse lå desværre tæt på rygeområdet. Det var lidt en ærgerlig oplevelse, da vi flere gange blev mødt af røg, når vi skulle forlade vores værelse. Det betød også, at vi ikke havde lyst til at have vinduet til at stå åbent. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke så inkluderende, hvis man er vegetar.
• Robert (9/5): - Hanifa Boutique hotel is a small comfortable hotel with 7 bedrooms located just a few minutes walk, in opposite directions, from the Registan and Bibi Khanem mosque (and bazar). It is well run with an professional manager on site (English-speaking) and attentive staff on site who are very helpful. The served breakfast is excellent and copious with a large variety of foods, from eggs to porridge. Set back 70m at the end of a serpentine alleyway, it is completely quiet at night. The hotel appears fresh and new in every respect, tastefully decorated and hopelessly maintained. A large, fine restaurant is close by. The rooms are small and seating space is limited. Outdoor seating is provided (open and covered) and comfortable. Our bed mattress was very firm. Older guests would welcome a mattress pad for more comfortable sleeping. No bedside table or lightside on one side.

Пешком из отеля мы не ходили, на такси до центра минут 7-10 может быть 10 из 10, рекомендую! Это не минус, но для кого-то может быть важно, что нет лифта (но нам помогли поднять вещи). Также находится в небольшом переулке, не сразу увидели табличку с названием отеля

• Natalie (8/5): Ideal location - The hotel is in a good location, you can walk to many sights easily. It's also very quiet so good for sleep. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. The bed mattress is firm as others have said but I slept well on it. Shower had plenty of hot water and was powerful. The room was a little lacking aesthetically. Some bedside lamps would have been nice as the ceiling lights were stark. A little bit more to make the room feel nice would have made a big difference.

• Adil (9/5): Отличный бутик-отель в центре города со вкусными завтраками - Отличное расположение в центре города, 7-10 минут неспешным шагом до площади Регистан. Чуть дальше до мечети Биби Ханым и Сиабского базара. Сам отель небольшой (7 номеров всего на 2 этажах), но атмосферный и уютный. Персонал дружелюбный. Чистые и теплые номера, вкусные и сытные завтраки. Сам отель находится в конце небольшого переулка, от основной улицы надо пройти 30-40 метров вглубь до самого отеля. Учитывайте, если у вас тяжелый багаж. Вай-фай часто работал слабо, но при этом стриминговые сервисы в гостиничном телевизоре работали довольно шустро. Наличность для оплаты номера лучше подготовить заранее, карточки не принимают (это указывается в бронировании, но лучше продублирую здесь).

• mark (8/5): Well-located hotel in Samarkand, with great service and decent rooms. - The staff were excellent. Spoke very good Russian and English. The breakfast was good (set meal - not buffet). If we asked for extra food, that was not a problem. The room was pleasant, with both underfloor heating and air-conditioning. Furniture was a little basic. Smart TV allows access to Prime Video and Netflix, using your own account. The wi-fi kept dropping out. I was given access to a different network, which worked better for the first day, but not the second. TV was on yet another network, so streaming worked well.

The staff there were amazing - very attentive, accommodating, and hospitable, and spoke very good English. • Barnali (7/5): Recommended for a great location, friendly atmosphere, and good breakfast. - The facility was reasonable and being in the heart of Samarkand old town and close to some of the top attractions were super helpful for us. We quite enjoyed our stay here. The front desk team member was an excellent English speaker and quite cooperative. It was a big plus for us as well and felt like having a friend around. Their hot and hearty breakfast, served with warmth, tasted great. I would recommend this to people who likes to spend maximum time outside the hotel. Primarily, the size of the room was one of the smallest among all the hotels (5 in total) we stayed in Uzbekistan. It felt cramped and uncomfortable for two adults. The bathroom was tiny as well. I guess being in the old town means not having enough space at one's disposal.

The staff were super, especially Asad at the front desk, who was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. Super large bed and very comfortable mattress. The rain shower in my room was cracked and spritzing all over from multiple points when the shower is on. However, I informed the staff and they took a look immediately and promised to fix it ASAP.

Wunderschöner Innenhof Zimmer klein aber sehr sauber Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich. Alles, was man sich wünschen könnte. Betten waren uns etwas zu hart
• Annette (9/5): Nettes Hotel - Direkt am Registan Platz, ruhig gelegen. Das Zimmer war super-sauber, das Frühstück sehr gut und vielfältig. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, besonders an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel, da es nur ein Fenster in den Innenhof hat.

• Valentina (10/5): - L'hotel si trova in una tranquilla stradina nella città vecchia, a due passi dal Registan e da tutte le attrazioni principali di Samarcanda e vicinissimo a ottimi ristoranti. La camera è pulitissima e la colazione, una delle migliori in Uzbekistan, è servita al tavolo e preparata con cura. Ogni giorno abbiamo mangiato qualcosa di diverso. Una menzione speciale ad Assad, il miglior receptionist di sempre: è simpatico, gentile e sempre disponibile! Assolutamente straconsigliato!

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the wifi is good. Location is great within easy walking distance of the Registan and other sites and restaurants The little lane can be off putting on first arriving but it's fine.

• Katherine (8/5): Very well located comfortable guesthouse with wonderful staff. - Breakfast was great thank you! Nice quiet comfortable place with main sights in walking distance. Extremely helpful friendly staff. We loved it. Lighting in bedroom lacked one on other side of bed. It would be good to get a cup of tea or coffee during the day. Room is quite tight on size but comfortable.
• Martin Piterna (10/5): - 11 out of 10 stars. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Because I was leaving early in the morning, they even gave me a packed lunch instead of breakfast.

Sehr üppiges (serviertes) Frühstück, das jeden Tag Abwechslung bot. Sehr guter Kaffee. Uns persönlich waren die Kissen zu hoch bzw zu dick. Und die Klimaanlage in Zimmer 103 war ein bisschen "schwach auf der Brust"
• Heike (10/5): Sehr gute Unterkunft - Kleines, niedliches Hotel, fußläufig zum Registan. Wir durften abends den kleinen und wunderschönen Frühstücksbereich nutzen, um Melonen aufzuschneiden und erhielten zu diesem Zwecke Messer und Teller. Wenn es möglich wäre, so würde ich 15 Punkte vergeben! Vielen Dank.
