• Gry Svendsen (8/5): Sentralt men stille belige - Fin beligenhet, sentralt men stille ! Enkelt å finne frem fra havnen , enkelt å trekke kofferten selv i Hydras gater, ingen trapper. Stedet er hyggelig, personalet er vennlig , de ringer etter «the boy» som snakker Engelsk. Rom nr 5 dobbeltrom superior var romslig, koselig uteplass med blomster og krukker Renholdet var desverre for dårlig, spesielt badet var udelikat. Det rant vann fra kjøleskapet. Litt kjellerfølelse , som en sokkelleilighet. Gamle elektrisle ledninger ut fra veggen som ikke lenger er i bruk. Sengen er to trapper opp på et platåå, burde væet en form for vegg/rekkverk der det ikke lenger er trapp som dekker hele platåeet. Måtte be om dorull når det var tomt og tømme søpplebøttene selv en dag. 6 dagers opphold, ikke noe skift av sengetøy.. hagen er hyggelig men mye rot kunne gjort det litt mere innbydende. Lageret med utstyr (sengesett, håndklær etc) er på uteplassen, så petsonalet måtte hele tiden forbi uteplassen for å hente rene håndklær etc til andre rom. Stedet har et stort pitensiale, litt rydding, vasking og fiksing hadde det kevd opp til 10. men gir det 8 sånn opplevelsen var

• Ian M (9/5): A nice place - The small hotel is family owned. It's a short stroll from the port and easy to find. The owners are friendly and helpful. Not much in terms of facilities, but there was an electric kettle, which was helpful, and an A/C unit that I didn't use. A couple of tables outside for a relaxing breakfast and toiletries. There's a good local restaurant a two minute walk away. I would stay again.

• Lindsey (9/5): Great sleep in a perfect location - This is a great location, quiet place, really nice and responsive host, and an incredibly comfortable bed. I didn’t use the sofa bed in the room as a bed, but as a sofa it did not work very well. The cushions are caving in and you’re kind of sitting on the bars of the bed apparatus. I mostly just ended up sitting on the floor.

• Lucy (5/5): Thanks to cockroaches we have nothing else to say other than less than acceptable. - The owners parents were the lovliest of people. Well. We’ve fpund it hard to rate as we didn’t actually end up staying here. After a bumpy ferry journey we enjoyed an evening walk through the gorgepus streets of Hydra. On returning to our room to facetime family at home our chilled out demeanour was more than evapourated as not one but two live covkroaches fell out of the air con unit. There was no way we were going to stay in the room after this as fear of more cockroaches in the aircon vent. There was no other availablw accomodatiom available as three weddings on Hydra! Thankfully the owners very kind parents invited us to stay in their spare room and were extremely hospitable. We were able to secure a room elsewhere for the next night as had no desire to stay in the room we had booked. We were able to have our entitre stay refunded by booking.com. We hope no other guests endured our expeeience.

• Julie (5/5): Würde ich auf keinen Fall noch einmal buchen - Gute Lage Muffiges Zimmer, schimmelndes Bad, Zimmer zum Hinterhof direkt neben den ganzen Waschmaschinen und Trocknern des « Hotels » Lautstärkepegel dadurch hoch und anstrengend.Ständiges Piepen, brummen, etc
• Sarah (9/5): Familiengeführtes Hotel mit freundlichen Besitzern - Der Besitzer ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zwei Stunden vor dem Check-in beim Hotel um unser Gepäck zu deponieren, konnten stattdessen aber gleich in unser Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Nebst dem grossen Bett, hat es einen kleinen Schreibtisch, einen kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Kleiderschrank. Ausserdem gibt es viele Haken um Kleidung aufzuhängen. Besonders gefallen haben mir das bequeme Bett und die Duschkabine. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, zentral und dennoch ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

• Patrice (7/5): - On a apprécié l'emplacement, la terrasse, la propreté, le réfrigérateur, la bouilloire avec thé et café mis à disposition, le fil à linge... On a été accueilli par un couple qui parlait mal anglais. Ensuite, nous n'avons eu aucun contact avec qui que ce soit. On aurait aimé poser des questions mais personne ne s'est inquiété de notre sort... La terrasse donnait sur un jardin qui gagnerait à être aménagé et arrangé...
• Inga (8/5): Sehr gemühtlich - Das Bett (Matratze und Kopfkissen) war super bequem. Außerdem konnte man sich Kaffee zubereiten. Und abends mit einem Gläschen Wein auf der Terrasse vorm Zimmer sitzen. Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig und auf dem Weg neben dem Eckzimmer kommen die ganze Nacht bis sehr spät Anwohner mit Karren zur dahinterliegenden Mülltonne. Man sollte also unbedingt Ohrstöpsel dabei haben.

• Anke (9/5): Erholsam und entspannt - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal. Man kann vom Hafen aus hinlaufen. Es ist abseits der großen Touristenströme, es ist ruhig und Restaurants sind nah. Besonders schön fanden wir die große Terrasse vorn mit Sitzgelegenheiten, die wir gern genutzt haben. Sehr freundliches Entgegenkommen, als einen Fehler gemacht haben.
• Maurizio (9/5): dovessi ritornare ad IDRA ritornerei in questa accoglientissima location - Tutto perfetto, Idra è un gioiello e questa struttura è un piccolo gioiellino incastonato. Lo spazio fuori con tavolini e divanetti è delizioso. Le camere sono confortevoli e finemente ristrutturate (io ho usufruito della n. 2). Il dettaglio è parte integrante dell'offerta di questa struttura. Molto consigliata. forse il bagnetto un po' piccolo, ma in strutture antiche e datate ci può stare.

• Shawna (9/5): Peaceful stay with great value - Great value for money – cozy, clean, with a lovely outdoor area. The peaceful setting away from the hustle, where you can enjoy the sound of crickets in the evening, gives it a special closeness to nature. The only issue was the checkout – we couldn’t find anyone, waited for quite a while and kept ringing the bell, and later it was mistakenly reported as if we hadn’t shown up.

E’ un po’ defilata dal centro ma è in centro! E’ in una zona tranquilla ma in centro. • Stathis (9/5): Summer relaxation under the pine trees - We had a great time at Piteoussa. Our room had a lovely summery, relaxing vibe. We particularly enjoyed sitting under the big pine trees at the front yard that offer plenty of shade. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room was super clean and fresh. We were a bit misfortuned to experience an electricity black out. Of course this is not the owners fault, but we would have appreciated some assistance while it happened, like candles or a flashlight. Also, an espresso machine would be nice.

Number 1 advantage - it’s 4 min from the port and it’s NOT on the hill! omg, i was traveling with a heavy luggage and hydra stairs with the luggage would be a nightmare. My room was cosy, spotless clean, comfortable, with a lovely garden and mountain view. Bed was sooooo cosy?, i loved my mornings) And it’s quiet ! As a person who lives in hell of a Bali with terrible noise of bikes and cars all the time and everywhere, i enjoyed peace so much. Yannis is a lovely host, i could check in early and leave my luggage to spend few more hours on magical Hydra! everything is perfect!

• John (5/5): It is good for one night - The place was close to the harbor and all the nice shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed The room wasn't that clean. It had a weird smell especially intense inside the wardrobe The kitchen spoons were dirty (I could peel off the dirt with my finger) The bathroom didn't have a window but only a small fan to take care of the moisture and the smell The water from the shower wouldn't empty fast enough so it would overflow to the bathroom floor
• Aleksei (9/5): Cosy and whimsical room - A small cosy room in the countryside, with roosters crowing and pigeons cooing. A tiny bit of garden with flowers and lemon trees, and two chairs to drink your coffee in the morning. Inside there is a comfy bed with fresh linen, bookshelves, a Nescafe coffee machine with capsules, milk and sugar, kettle, and a small fridge. When it's cold outside the air conditioner can warm up the room quite fast, and I believe in hot summer days the stone walls provide natural protection from the heat outside. The staff is warm and nice, though some of them do not speak English. We loved our stay with a 5 yo kid. Keep in mind the bed is a little higher than the floor of the room and two steps should be climbed. To the staff I would suggest changing the light bulbs from cold light to warm light, so it will be even more cosy.

The only small drawback (which I was already aware of from the booking photos) is the stairs near the bedroom. If you're stepping out of bed at night to go to the bathroom, there's a risk of stumbling on the three steps. It's important to stay mindful of which side the stairs are on. I came a bit earlier then my check in and my room was already waiting for me. Perfectly clean room and the bed is extremely comfortable Very stylish and cozy interior of the room and house itself. House is located in the quite street, which brings you that peaceful and calm island vibe, at the same time it is just 3 min away from harbor and very nice restaurants and taverns, so location is absolutely great. Definitely will be happy to stay in Piteoussa rooms on my next visit.
• Caroline (9/5): Perfect, peaceful stay just up the hill from the bustle of the harbor. - Our room was simple but very clean and the patio/terrace out front was divine! Shaded and so peaceful! We loved hearing the braying of donkeys and the crowing of roosters that have no sense of time lol! (They never woke us, they just crowed throughout the day!) The hosts were lovely and kind. Nothing, it was all very nice.
