- Clarinus (9/5): Geweldige gastvrijheid in een mooie omgeving. Weg van de drukte van de stad. - Ontzettend vriendelijk gezin van Wildan. Locatie is erg goed. We hadden een prachtig uitzicht op een mooie tuin en de bergen. De kamer/badkamer is tamelijk spartaans, maar voldoet prima. En als je vragen hebt probeert Wildan te helpen. Het bed sliep heerlijk. Wildan is een prima gids. Hij haalde ons op van het vliegveld (3 uur rijden). De dag erna een trip naar Gunung Padan. Megalitisch bouwwerk waar nog zo weinig van bekend is. Zeker waard om te bezoeken en helemaal niet toeristisch. Daarna een mooie waterval. Heerlijk gelunchd met lokale gerechten. De laatste dag nog een trip naar een actieve vulkaan bij Bandung. Ik had gehoopt dat we iets meer zouden doen en contact hebben met het gezin van Wildan. Bijvoorbeeld gezamelijk eten. Om bijvoorbeeld meer te leren van het Indonesische gezinsleven. Maar misschien waren mijn verwachtingen verkeerd.
- Julie (10/5): I highly recommend this guest house to who loves the mountains and cool weather. - 1-The beautiful Mountain View 2-beautiful sunrise 3-cool air 4-very delicious breakfast/you can order lunch or dinner too 5- very polite and friendly family they all speak English except the wife 6-the nearby villages. I stayed one week and had a great with Wildan’s family. So thankful for their hearty hospitality made my solo travel much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this guest house to everyone who loves the mountains and cool weather. I stay for first week in July. None
- Jamiel (7/5): Good - It is beautifully positioned in a rural setting, tranquil and peaceful with fantastic views. The shower was cool to lukewarm. The breakfast eggs were served quite cold, and no toast, but rice instead. Oh yes, woken up for breakfast before 8am.
- Astrid (10/5): Best family experience ever - Wildan, Irma and their Children are very dear hosts. During our stay we were treated with exceptional kindness and at once felt at home. Especially our daughter soon warmed up to the other kids and played with them. As English teacher, Wildan is open minded and interested in intercultural exchange during international student exchanges. But he and his family also like to get to know their guests: Soon we were deeply involved in topics about different worldviews, values and what is most important in life. Another highlight of our stay was an accompanied trip to a nearby tee plantage and factory with the scooter and from there by foot to the Curug Batlem waterfall. We also enjoyed the joint dinner with the family very much.

The host was very kind and willing to prepare our breakfast at about 5.00 am early in the morning for us to take a meal out. There's nothing I don't like. A place that calms a friendly host and clean home conditions
- Alma (10/5): Exceptional - The family is very kind and helpful. Wildan speaks English which makes the stay comfortable for foreign people. The location is great if you want to go to Mount Gede. And the apartment is very nice and clean. I really liked the view out of the balcony.

It is a quiet place in an otherwise noisy and very busy village. It is a good point to start for surrounding attractions. The owners are very nice, what is important, the owner Wildan speaks English and is a good source of information about everything, about local attractions and generally about life in Indonesia and Java. Maybe the most important, what I regret I didn’t know before coming to Java, is that the owner offers cars to rent, both for short and long periods, with or without a driver, including pick-up service from different points, even from Jakarta airport. The prices are very competitive compared to well-recognized car rental companies, which are very scarce in Indonesia. I highly recommend especially for independent travelers.

- Tamara (10/5): Hidden gem near Gunung Padang - We were looking for a place to stay to visit the historic site Gunung Padang and were very lucky to find this gem. Mister Wildan and his family gave us a warm welcome and helped with arranging our trip. Mangunkerta is a lovely small village with amazing mountain views. Unfortunately the village was recently struck by a devastating earthquake that destroyed many homes. Please help the local people with first aid and rebuilding their homes. It is difficult to offer help to the victims due to the broken roads, but mister Wildan is providing immediate care. I hope Booking will allow this and otherwise contact me: whydonate.nl/nl/fundraising/cianjur There were children singing early in the morning, but it was part of the experience.
