• Gustavo M S (9/5): Nice choice - Staff are lovely. We've felt like home. The breakfast are amazing and the attached restaurant also serves an excellent and authentic Arabic food. The rooms are comfy and spacious. Location are amazing! Just a few steps from Damascus Gate (Muslim Quarter) It's seems some details are overlooking, like mold on bathroom roof, some spots without cleaning and ripped curtains. Nothing critical at all

• Andrea (10/5): - The lovely hotel is best situated for discovering the Old Town of Jerusalem. Also right accross the bus station. The staff is extremely helpful for any advice on getting around in East Jerusalem and beyond. The restaurant serves lovely Palestinian food and is open every day.

Les propriétaires sont charmants et nous ont accueillis comme des invités. Le restaurant est sublime est nous a réservé une carte avec des spécialités palestiniennes délicieuses. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et excellent! Je reviendrai avec certitude une prochaine fois.

• Meloujane (9/5): - I like the place because I love a place with history, and its very convenient, its like a hotel and museum. I really liked the room—the overall experience was great. A couple of small requests for improvement: it would be nice if water and an extra glass were provided when we enter the room, and during breakfast it would be great if some of the food items were warmer. I especially loved the coffee.
• Abe (10/5): The sort of hotel one can't wait to stay in again. - The location was excellent, very near a central bus station for W.Jerusalem and into Palestine in the West Bank. It was near everything and the bustling streets and shops of East Jerusalem and bang next door to the Old City. The hotel was like going into the Arabian Nights, with atmospheric planting and interior design, the room was clean and comfortable, with all conveniences and friendly staff. The breakfasts were amazing, with all sorts of Palestinans dishes and generous proportions. The restaurant, with a retractable roof is a popular dining out and meeting place with an excellent chef. Hard to find fault with this iconic hotel.

Excellent choice of food and drink in the hotel's atmospheric, garden restaurant. Free wi-fi was really helpful having just arrived in Jerusalem after a long flight.

The staff were so kind and helpful with any questions we had or helping us book taxis, even when one of our guests arrived in the middle of the night.

• Carsten (7/5): Hübsch und zentral - - Das historische Gebäude incl. hübscher Einrichtung - Die Lage unmittelbar am Damaskustor - Technische Ausstattung (Steckdosen, Smart TV, leistungsstarke Klimaanlage) Grundsätzlich war alles ok, das Hotel entspricht einem 3* Standard. Wer vier Sterne gewohnt ist, wird vermutlich ein reichhaltigeres Frühstück vermissen. Auch das Bad konnte ein wenig besser geputzt werden (schlechter Abfluss am ersten Abend ein paar Haare auf dem Boden, Spiegel immer mal nicht ganz streifenfrei... ).

L’établissement est idéalement placé à proximité de la Porte de Damas et d’un arrêt du tram de Jérusalem. Il possède également un excellent restaurant qui propose une belle variété de plats moyen-orientaux. Le personne est très accueillant et professionnel. The hotel is exceptionally well located for tourism in Jerusalem and beyond, including nearby bus/taxi/light rail/rental car access, not to mention a 5 minute walk to the Old City. Rooms are unique and quiet. Breakfasts are superb.

• Bart (10/5): Fabulous heritage stay in all comfort. - An extraordinary hotel with heritage rooms, letting you dive deep in history. Coupled to an excellent restaurant and just a few 100 metres from the Damascus gate into Old Jerusalem...makes of this hotel a fabulous opportunity to soak in the rich diversity of Jerusalem while staying in full comfort. The manager/owner is a very engaged and inspiring person who will share his rich insights into the community, its traditions and culture. Nothing. I score the hotel 11/10.
• Justin (10/5): Make it your place to stay in Jerusalem - Beautiful family-owned property with wonderfully decorated rooms. Amenities were plenty. On site Garden Restaurant has exceptional food and drinks (you won’t want to go elsewhere). Location is minutes from the Damascus Gate— an excellent location to explore the Old City. More than that, the owners and staff are the kindest people you will ever meet. They kept us safe and comfortable during the initial days of the Iran-Israel war. Definitely worth returning to. Nothing.

• Dominik (10/5): Charming historic hotel near Damascus Gate - Excellent location right north of the Damascus house. Free parking included! The house is a beautiful old place but it has all the modern amenities. Run by a nice family. The breakfast was also good and the restaurant served one of the best meals (traditional food) we had in Israel. Highly recommended.

We had dinner there twice while in Jerusalem. The breakfast was perfect. We had 2 tours that left early in the morning causing us to miss breakfast. We let the host know the night before and they prepared a to go bag of breakfast for us to take with us. We will stay here every time we are in Jerusalem.

And it’s a 5 minute walk from the old city and the bus stop. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will be staying here again next time I’m in town

Aya, the young woman, manager at the restaurant is a GEM, she made breakfast time a fantastic experience beyond the food. The owner of the hotel was very personable, kind, wonderful! He responded immediately to our requests and questions. We felt very cared for. It was a pleasure to stay at Jerusalem Hotel.

We decided we could easily eat there every night, and we just might do that on a future visit! The staff was very helpful and kind at all times. This is definitely a place we would stay again. We chose it due to the character and the location near the Garden Tomb and the Old City, but it has even more than that going for it. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel with a decent price and good local food with welcoming staff, this is a great choice. The inner hallways/seating areas and stairwell were a little bit cluttered, but that didn't detract so much from our overall opinion.
