• Evans (1/5): Avoid - they cancelled on the day of and did nothing to help - Can’t comment as they cancelled on the day of my booking - via email after I had seen them in person in the morning to ask if we could store our bags there. We waited around until 2pm check in and were then told there were no rooms. The staff did nothing to help. Just insisted that I cancel my booking, and it took over 20 minutes and a lot of back and forth to be able to do so without charge. We went back and forth for around 20 minutes as the app kept saying I would be charged, they even tried to select ‘cancel because I made a mistake with my booking’ on my phone and I had to snatch it away quickly as this was going to take the full reservation fee from me. Thankfully in the end we figured out how to cancel without being charged. However due to the late reveal, every other hotel was fully booked and the ones that were not were £600-1,000+ for one night. It was very stressful and of course cost us more money getting taxis to the new location etc. We stayed instead at Sining hotel and spa and I cannot recommend enough. The staff and rooms were flawless.

Convient très bien pour une nuit et pour des routards Nous avons fait 3 séjours d'une nuit en une semaine, la deuxième nuit nous avons oublié des habits dans la salle de bain. Malgré notre message nos habits ne nous ont pas été rendus à notre retour. Le personnel de nettoyage est livré à lui-même car c'est l'agence de voyage qui donne seulement les clés des chambres.

The receptionist was sooo kind and helpful We were on the fifth floor and there is no elevator, we were also offered the room on the 4th floor but it was smaller.

Anna helped is in some trips around and was very kind! The door couldn’t lock properly but it was not a problem, there are always people at the reception.

Our booked room was on level 4 and they gave us a room on level 2 so we didn’t have to climb too many stairs. No sign of any bugs Bit noisy as you would expect and the street light came in but that was ok because we wore eye masks!
• Thi (5/5): Not worth of money to stay. - close to hoan kiem lakes and shops and restaurants. I stayed at level 3 and 4. I was nearly fainted when i reach level 3. No lift and stair are very small and high. Which wasnt shown on the advertisement. Bath room very small. No towel or face washer tooth brush to use. Shower head right on top of toilet and basin which you dont have room to move around to get change. bed linen very dirty, can feel dust on the bed. If u over 70kg then dont even dare to try this hotel. I regret to stay here

• Paula (2/5): Very poor customer service. - Location is good, very close to everything you need. I booked two rooms as my friend was flying in. The day before her arrival I went and confirmed with the hotel that there were two rooms booked, the woman behind the counter could hardly lift her eyes from her phone but did assure me that two rooms were booked. On the day of the booking we arrived at 4pm and after lots of paper shuffling and conferring between the two women behind the counter, it was clear that there was only one room available. My friend took the room and I was ‘invited’ to share that room for a small extra charge. I declined the invitation as if we’d wanted to share, we would have booked one room! They said that they would organise another room with a ‘brother’ and to come back at 6pm. That was OK and we went off for dinner. At 7pm we came back and once again asked to wait as the room wasn’t ready. Eventually a man comes from up the street, takes me to his hotel 5 doors down, grumbles that his room is worth 500k but he’s only getting what I paid MayHouse. The room he gave me was damp, dank, dark and mouldy. At this stage I just needed a bed and had to accept it. During the waiting time for the ‘extra’ room the reception lady asked about our travel plans and was clearly angling to book our bus tickets. As they couldn’t organise a room booking properly we certainly were not letting them anywhere near our other travel plans and booked bus tickets a few doors down.

• Scott (8/5): Very good - The location was very good and the mattress was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Very steep spiral staircase to get to the rooms. We asked twice for room service but didn't get it. At night the property drops it's security shutters and you need to bang on them to get them open. We were banging and banging but couldn't wake up the staff member to let me in.

Because it is in the city, it is a little loud. The room wasn’t super dark. There is no elevator (which was no problem for us).

We asked to stay another night and they unfortunately had no space but arranged for us to stay with their partner hotel and even took our bags to the new hotel for us free of charge! All amenities simple, functional and clean! Stairs! We were in a room on the fifth floor with no lift. Staff were very helpful in helping us with our bags however!
