• wilfried (9/5): Super - Nous avons adoré le côté rustique et l’isolement du homestay . Nous étions juste avec misael et sa famille . Ils nous ont acceuilli chez eux et nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous . La cuisine est supe bonne . Misael est daté au maximum de nous pêcher tous les jours un poisson frais ! Le prix des excursions ne sont pas excessif . L’emplacement a 15 minutes de rufas et Pyainemo est parfait !
• Vidal Antonio (7/5): Strategic location close to Piaynemo - Very close to Piaynemo and Rufas and Melissa's garden, and right in front, you have a rich biodiversity. The host made me feel welcome and comfy 😊 The facilities were very basic compared to other homestays. There was a storm around these days, and waves made it noisy to sleep.
• Nicholas (7/5): Good location for Pam Wall and Pyanemo - We stayed 3 nights at Keruwo Homestay. The homestay is located at the southern end of Pyanemo on the island of Keruwo close to Melissa’s Garden and Pam Wall. The view from your veranda looks directly onto Pyanemo and Rufus Island. Keruwo Island has some taller mountains, sheer limestone cliffs and dense jungle, whilst there are some small stretches of beach, you cannot walk around this island. There is a narrow undeveloped jungle trail where the jetty is that takes you up to a viewpoint. The snorkelling at front of the homestay is OK with plenty of fish and coral, however there are many sections of coral that have been destroyed by storms or bleaching. At low tide you can do a walk from the homestay to some coral/sandy beaches on the Pam Island side of the island, take your water shoes. We stayed in the newer overwater bungalow that was recently finished, so there were a few things that still needed to be done. This bungalow is across the beach from the other 3 bungalows and is quite private. The bungalows are all small and very basic. The food was plentiful with good variety of fruits. Mishael was a very committed host and did everything possible to ensure everyone had a good stay at his homestay. There is no Telkomsel signal at Keruwo Homestay, sometimes if you go out on the boat with Mishael you might get one bar of signal from the tower on Pam Island in the middle of the ocean. He offers a large variety of tours which are all posted on the whiteboard in the meals area with his prices. We did the Pam Wall and Napolean Wall snorkelling trips with Mishael which I would highly recommend. Snorkel right up the wall where the waves break and you will be rewarded with the most exotic coloured corals you will ever see. I was amazed. Plenty of small and large fish to see as well. The current is really strong between Keruwo Island and Pam Wall, so take care here.
• HYUN SOOK (8/5): - 훌륭한 하우스 리프, 숙소에서 팜월과 아니타 가든까지 스노클링할 수 있습니다. 직원이 친절하고 제공하는 요리는 양이 넉넉하고 맛있었습니다. 그곳에서 훌륭한 여행객들을 만나고 친해질 수 있었습니다. 합리적인 가격에 보트를 이용하여 멜리사 가든에서 스노클링 계획이었으나 날씨 때문에 다음 기회로 미루게 되어 아쉬움이 남았습니다. 물이 부족하여 풍족하게 사용할 수 없었으나 위치와 조건을 고려한다면 양해할 수 있습니다.
• Friedrich (7/5): Super Lage zur Fam Wall, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - Die Nähe zur Fam Wall ist super. Man kann durch den Kanal in 10 Minuten selbst rüber schwimmen. Nachmittags wird es aber wegen der vielen Boote unübersichtlich und man sollte eine Boje dabei haben, wenn man zurück schwimmt. Wegen sehr schlechtem Wetter ist manchmal abends der Strom ausgefallen. Misai vom Keruwo Homestay und seine Familie haben es aber schnell wieder richten können. Misai hat uns toll zum nächsten Homestay auf Fam Island mit dem longboat gebracht. Wir hatten die älteste Hütte (erste Hütte vom Strand), wo es bei einer Sturmfront leider einwenig Spray waagerecht in die Hütte getragen hat.

• Bryan Chaumont (3/5): Dommage pour les petits désagréments - Le lieu est très beau en bord de mer bien que très rustique. La mer est magnifique ainsi que le paysage mais l'eau arrive à peine jusqu'aux genoux donc pas de snorkelling possible. La famille qui nous a reçu était sympathique. Le lieu, les chambres sont très rustiques. Parfait si vous voulez vivre l'aventure, mais le confort est minimal. Pas de ventilation. Le soir de notre arrivée, il n'y avait pas la lumière sur le lieu et nous sommes arrivés en soirée. Mais la famille a quand même fait le nécessaire bien que plusieurs coupures. Le lendemain matin nous avons dû ramasser de nombreux déchets en plastique laissés sur la plage, pour nous rendre le séjour plus agréable, mais nous avons pensé que la famille aurait quand même pu le faire. Nous avons trouvé le prix des excursions en bâteau assez élevés. L'hôte Booking qui n'était pas sur place avait une approche assez financière. À notre arrivée, il nous appelle au téléphone sans un mot de bienvenue et nous demande uniquement si nous voulons faire de la plongée, que nous avons gentiment refusé. On pouvait voir que ça le dérangeait que nous n'en faisions pas. C'était le seul but de son appel. Pareil le jour du départ où il nous demande si nous voulons une nuit de plus sans rien d'autre. Le jour de mon départ, je réalise que nous avons oublié un short sur la terrasse avec plus de 100$ dedans. Je préviens tout de suite l'hôte et leur propose de faire le trajet pour au moins nous ramener le short et qu'ils pourraient garder l'argent pour le voyage effectué. Mais là, l'hôte qui était jusqu'à maintenant très disponible, le devient beaucoup moins, et attend le lendemain avant de nous répondre une première fois bien obligé de répondre via Booking. Il me dit qu'ils ne le trouvent pas, alors qu'il était facilement disponible et visible. Il ne revient jamais vers moi, toujours obligé de le relancer.
• ALICE (8/5): L endroit idéal pour quelques jours de calme et de nature : un petit paradis isolé - Emplacement exceptionnel, face à Pianeymo, Rufas et Melissa's garden. Tout proche à la palme d'Anita's garden, spot parfait pour le snorkelling, les coraux y sont magnifiques et la vie sous marine foisonnante. Famille discrète et toujours aux petits soins. Nous y avons très bien mangé.
• ALICE (8/5): - Emplacement exceptionnel, face a Piaynemo, Rufas et Melissa's garden et à quelques mètres d'Anita's garden: spot parfait pour le snorkelling , les coraux y sont magnifiques et la vie sous marine foisonnante. Famille discrète et toujours aux petits soins. Calme, nature... un petit paradis isolé. Si il y a une amélioration à apporter, celle ci concernerait la gestion des déchets, comme sur la plupart des îles des Raja Ampat.
• Antoine (8/5): Good, but improvement would be nice - Great location, very close to famous Pyanemo and great dive/snorkling sites Small homestay: Very flexible to do activites at any time. Not very well organised. We had reserved 2 bungalows, but only 1 was available. The other one was double-booked, but the host did not inform us ahead. Food was repetitive: That is Ok for a homestay, but for 3 days we asked for Fish and the host kept saying “Yes, tomorrow we go fishing”. He never went fishing. Just be honest about it… English was also very limited, which made communication and contact a little hard.
