Guest Reviews
- Yolanda (9/5): Beautiful house and surroundings - The view from the terrace is stunning and the house is beautiful and very clean. We felt at home just from the beginning.
The area around the house is also very pretty and quiet. We enjoyed being so close to the nature and the village and supermarket. Everything worked perfect, but we missed a properly table for the terrace. They have two small camping tables, that did a good job, but a bigger and nice table would be fantastic.
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional - This is an entire 3 bedroom house in the beautiful Vradal area of Norway overlooking a lake and the mountains. The house is very new, and everything was beautifully appointed. There are laundry facilities on site available to use, which was helpful for our trip. The town center is just a few minutes away by car and there is a market and a nice, family-operated cafe there. This stay and area, even though we were just passing through, was one of the highlights of our trip. Since this is such a new home and neighborhood, Google maps will get you close but can't pinpoint the exact house location. As you drove up the hill into the neighborhood, you turn right at the little brown hut instead of left, then the house will be on the left up a steep driveway. The beds were comfortable and the shower was immaculate. We didn't use it, but there is a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator. Evidently, the home was listed before the owners were ready, so when we arrived we had received no code to open the lockbox for the keys. It made for a stressful arrival, which was likely just a snafu. We made a lucky guess on the keybox after trying several times and made it into the home about 2 or 3 hours before the owner got back with us. It worked out, but was stressful. Also, it is apparent the owners were new to renting out their place as they seemed really nervous about how we were going to treat their home. Of course we kept the home nice, and always do, but there is some inexperience there. With that said, the owners were friendly.
