There is also a building boom going on through out Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighborhood however if there is works being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.*This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Lovely clean, everything in the apartment we needed, just brilliant overall. Nothing
- Bernard (2/5): Below average. - The location was good. Better communication from the owner. My calls were not returned, the keys were not available at 3pm. No effort was made for early check in. This is not a value for money property.

- Eric (2/5): Very poor - Location was good. Booking.com said in the quote that it included all charges. This was not true. The hotel Fine Print added 4.5% onto the room charge plus a $500 security deposit which the initial email said would be charged "days "before arrival. We were concerned over the stay how the security deposit would be evaluated. We also had to provide photographic evidence of our identity. We were concerned that our identity evidence would not be secure. We are in our 70's and have never been subjected to these demands in the many hundreds of stays. The mail box code was buried in the body of a late email. Booking.com should not advise that all fees are included when they are not. Breach of the law. The booking experience with this hotel was terrible. See above.

- Henk (1/5): Very disappointing and never again - Only the location This place has only one benefit, being close to the buses and wharf. Besides that it is no value for money. It still uses the positive credits of what was once the Quest Apartments but the contrast could hardly be bigger.
Only 2 large towels and 1 small towel were provided for a 9 days stay for two persons. No change of towels and bed linnen. Upon asking for clarification I was told ‘You can was it yourself with the washing machine in the appartement.’
Separate cleaning cost to be paid when leaving the apartment, while you are paying full charges for every night.
Three times we had a false fire alarm during the 9 days of which twice at 2.00/2.30 in the night. Faulty equipment and/or makes you think what kind of persons are staying in the other apartments.
I was charged for an extra night without pre notice. I got only partially reimbursed after complaint and lost AUD 20 on this unauthorised charge.
The bed provided is a nightmare, queen size and when your best half turns you will be wake up.
The bathroom is outdated and tiles in the shower are partially yellow with various stains). Dust piles up in behind the dryer (initially we thought it was mould) and blows through the bathroom when using the dryer. Not using it is no option, refer to my comment above on the towels.
The whole apartment is damp, you constantly feel that your clothing (and the bed) is moist. May be the airco needs cleaning or the apartment has a fresh air issue. After check out from the Seabreeze we had to dry our clothes in the next location we stayed in because all our clothing was damp.
Cancellation policy is a joke. When you have booked and paid there is no way back nor option to shorten your stay without loosing all your money paid. Very customer unfriendly and all focussed on maximisation of profit by the owner.
To sum it up: never again, not value for money and be warned, especially if you have positive experiences with the Quest Apartments in the past.

Where do I start? To pick up the key is a nightmare with a very complicated system of numbers designed to really frustrate.
The apartment was not clean to my standards and I spent about an hour getting it acceptable.
The balcony was filthy so didn’t go near it.
Kitchen very short on china,only 1 tea towel and no scrubbing brush/ scoured.
Bathroom : shower not clean,toilet not clean, no face cloths and the dryer vents into the room

Manly wharf at the doorstep. When having a shower, water went out onto the bathroom floor. The little overflow wasn't deep enough to hold the excess water. Not a big issue, just wanted to point it out.
Parked in the underground car park, had to carry bags up the stairs onto the street to get to the letterbox to access the keys to use the lift from the car park.
