- Saoirse (10/5): Perfection - I loved everything about this cottage stay. We even got to cuddle the farm cat "Shimmer" who, as farm ambassador, made sure we were settled in and cozy. She made sure we weren't missing out own moggies too much. The owner Jenny, was just so amazing at making us feel at home. The cottage is the most adorable place, and was immaculate. If i could, i would have rated it higher than 10/10.
- Uyanga (10/5): Fabulous cottage 10/10 - Absolutely beautiful cottage! Surrounded by nature — exactly what we were looking for. It’s beautifully decorated, each room has plenty of space, and it comfortably accommodated up to group of seven. The fireplace was fabulous and made the night extra special. We had an amazing stay, and the host was wonderful and very helpful. Thank you again! We highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone! Nothing
- Graham (10/5): Cosy Cottage - Delightful cosy cottage, lovely setting in convenient location for us with total secluded privacy. Spotlessy clean. Comfy beds. Lovely wood burning stove and comfy sofa and chairs in sitting/diner room. Well equipped kitchen. Jenny is a charming, welcoming and friendly hostess. She added another bed to accomodate us all. Left milk and snacks etc. This was our second stay, we will definitely be back next year if not before. Nothing not to like.10/10. As there were six in our mixed party an additional shower/wc would be a great addition.
- Patrina (10/5): A lovely stay - A spotless home from home full of character. A beautiful welcome basket left for arrival, which the children absolutely loved. Thank you for such a warm welcome and a lovely stay.
- Matthew (10/5): I would stay again - Lovely place and lovely host Nothing it was supper

- Anthea (10/5): Wonderful, peaceful stay in beautifully kept cottage. - This is a self catering cottage, so it was lovely to have a welcome basket of treats and a carton of milk in the 'fridge. Jenny is a great host, available, helpful and welcoming. Bramble Cottage is very quiet, with beautiful views. We had a very pleasant walk in wonderful countryside. There are a couple of amazing supermarkets, about a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage. We enjoyed the wood burning stove one chillier evening. A picnic table with attached benches made a great place to eat, overlooking the view. Beds were extremely comfortable and lovely bed linen. Plenty of towels. There were only three of us, so the cottage was absolutely fine but, since it does sleep 6 people, we felt that the dining area was rather small should more people be staying. There were five comfortable chairs, and four dining chairs. The bathroom is entered through one of the bedrooms, and another bedroom is accessed through that bedroom, so not ideal for those wanting privacy.

- Angela (10/5): Great place to stay - Hosts went out of their way during the red warning.
- Nataliia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing spot to have a good rest. Such a lovely, cozy and clean cottage. All you could ask for is there. Very friendly host Jenny. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it. Thank you so much!
- Allison (9/5): Delightful stay with a view of sheep! - This is a delightful cottage. We loved waking up and seeing the sheep outside! We also enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, and the sweet gift basket full of snacks. The traditional furniture in the sitting room was a cosy touch as well. We really appreciated that the firewood was out and stacked, and that they had games and even toys for the younger kids. The lock box/self check in was really nice too, and made the drive up very relaxing since we didn't need to meet anyone at a specific time! There was plenty of space for 6 people and we never felt cramped. We were also thrilled to have the bathtub, because we don't have one at home.
The cottage is rural, which was great for a real countryside feeling, but it is still less than 10 minutes drive to a small town for food and groceries. We had a friendly cat visitor who the kids loved, and there's a great outdoor space. We would love to come back when it is a bit warmer and sit outside to enjoy the view. We also really enjoyed the holiday touches throughout the cabin, you can tell the owner really cares and tries to make it special. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked inside. There's everything you could need at the cabin, including tea and instant coffee, and even access to an electric clothes dryer if you need to do laundry. All of Northern Ireland is within a 90 minute drive too so it is a great home base for road trips! The most important thing to note is that the only bathroom and only toilet can only be accessed via a bedroom, so if you're sleeping in that room there isn't a lot of privacy. One of the bedrooms is also only accessible via that same bedroom, so it's a heavy traffic area. If you have a smaller party (we had 6) and don't need to use the 3rd bedroom, everyone will have a lot more privacy.
For planning purposes (none of this is negative, just to share what we discovered):
This may not apply to you, but we went right after the New Year and were surprised how many restaurants and amenities nearby were still closed a few days after the holiday. And many restaurants that were open were booked up, so plan to make dinner reservations if you don't want to get takeaway or eat at the cabin.
There's also only 4 seats at the kitchen table, so family meals at the cottage again would be better for smaller groups.
- Colm (9/5): Comfortable and charming - Exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds, charming old cottage, very warm (in winter) and a beautiful rural setting. Charming and helpful host. Noise of the farm sometimes can be a little intrusive- but thats the price of staying in the countryside!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberts (10/5): Our stay at Bramble Cottage was exceptional and will definitely stay again! - I loved everything about our stay at Bramble Cottage. Jenny was super kind and accommodating. The location was perfect and parking was a breeze! The cottage was warm and inviting and the beds were super comfy. The whole place was super clean and a pleasure to stay in. Jenny left us some snacks, plenty of tea/coffee and outfitted the cottage with Christmas decorations and even a Christmas Tree!! There wasn't anything I didn't like.
- Grace (10/5): Lovely 🥰 place - It was so homely and Jenny was lovely lady. It was so peaceful ☺️ and I loved to stove in the living room. I will be back again and we will stay longer the next time 🕰️ N/A
- Graham (10/5): Cosy Cottage - Lovely cosy cottage. Loved the wood burning stove. Very clean, comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Jenny is a charming & welcoming host and left us milk and snacks. Jenny was very accommodating and added extra bed. Ideal tranquil location between Cookstown & Dungannon. Shimmer the cat visited us, which was nice. We were lucky to get booked at last minute when other accommodation let us down. We will definitely return when we play Burnavon theatre next year. Nothing not to like. The single bathroom was a bit of a compromise for six adults, but Bramble cottage is an ideal family stay. Highly recommended.
- Murphy (10/5): Fabulous relaxing stay in an amazing location - Faultless, Jenny went above and beyond!! Very warm welcome, nothing too much trouble, excellent stay Could NOT have been better
