Guest Reviews
- Eric (9/5): We had a little problem whilst there but the owners were on hand to try and resolve the problem. Replacement broken ite - Very cosy cottage very accessible for all locations. We would have preferred the bathroom to be on the First floor purely for a personal reason due to mobility problems at the moment. Otherwise a very comfortable stay. Plenty of parking places. Everything was acceptable.
- Hazel (7/5): Relaxing stay in a lovely area - The location was really nice, and close to the coast and attractions. The cottage was cosy and quiet. Ideal for two, but I am not sure if it would be ideal for four adults. Maybe it would be fine for a small family. Parking on site. There was not enough room on the kitchen surface for a toaster. It was in a cupboard, so things had to be moved to use the toaster. The bed was a double, most beds now are king sized, so I would go for a king size next time. The bed was too close to where the roof was slanted which meant you could easily bump your head if you got up in the dark, so the landing light had to be on. I think the bed should be moved away from the slanting roof in this cottage. Everything else was fine. It was very clean.
- Jackie (10/5): Got a upgrade. Amazing place - Every thing was good Wasn’t anything we didn’t like
- Stacey (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - Can't really fault this place. Peaceful, friendly staff, great location. Nothing
- Nichola (7/5): Lovely place to stay for a short weekend. - Clean and tidy A lot smaller than I expected. The Wi-Fi was terrible.

- Michelle (5/5): We had a lovely time, however the property was not clean which wasn’t good. I felt barraged with messages from the letti - We liked the location and the garden was lovely. The bedding was fresh. The place was nice and quiet. The property had not been cleaned and was not clean, the carpet had not been hoovered and no hoover was left for me to do. The property smelt of damp, we were unable to place our clothes in the wardrobes due to this. There was a lot of dust in the house, especially on top of the curtain poles and this caused us irritation. I think a better Christmas tree could have been supplied it was rather disappointing that a table tree was the only decoration. I didn’t like that we were expected to keep the key in the key box outside when we weren’t in the property. This did not feel safe as we had Christmas presents and personal items. Unsure how many times the passcode is changed to ensure that no one entered however we do think the property was opened without us there.
- Shaun (8/5): - Location was great as near to venue I was visiting
- kevin (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Cottage was lovely - Beautiful comfy cottage very clean and modern we struggled for taxis to get in and out of Bridlington centre 2 hour wait for a taxi The taxi service was horrendous we were attending the scooter rally and struggled to get in and out of the town centre
- Sophie_Gwood (10/5): Cosy cottage and perfect for families - We loved this cottage - it was the perfect size for a family of four and was really cosy. The beds were comfy and it had a lovely seating area outside. N/A
- Nicholas (10/5): Relaxed and enjoyable environment. EV charging available bonus. - Given code prior to travel. Easy to gain access Location of the cottage and amazing environment created by the owners. Table and seating out side each cottage. Clean and well maintained.

- Angela (10/5): Great location with beautiful outdoor patios - Beautiful set up and the garden is gorgeous, we had rain so could not take advantage of the outside😒 Bathroom located on the main level and bedrooms located up a steep set of stairs. Difficult to manage if you have to go to the bathroom at night.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, beautiful gardens, near to everything, the house is all you could ask for, beds comfortable, really clean ho.e from home thank you Nothing not to like

- Deryl (7/5): Great parking and position.staff and owners were lovely - The gardens were amazing and a great location with excellent parking.
Kitchen and lounge were really good We booked the two single beds as we saw the other bed was a small double.
The singles weren’t great either.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (6/5): Good location - The location of the holiday cottage was great in between Sewerby and Flamborough. Bus stop close by which was good. It was advertised with a bbq and Nespresso coffee machine. So before checking in we went to the supermarket and spent £60 on bbq food only to be disappointed when we got there that there wasn’t one. We also bought some coffee pods for the espresso machine and there wasn’t one as advertised.
The bathroom had an awful smell think due to having no window to which we had to open the front door everyday to let air through into the bathroom.
- Jill (9/5): Quality home away from home - The property, owners, ambience, location An issue in the kitchen area which we discussed with one of the owners
- Jk (10/5): Great for visiting Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs and will use again and recommend - Bxcellent location. Beautiful complex of holiday cottages around a central yard. Very comfortable and well equiped cottage Having to go downstairs to toilet.
- Michael (10/5): Wonderful cottage. - Harvest cottage is a beautiful cottage, lovely and comfortable in a wonderful location, the rooms are good size and nice and warm on a cool evening, the outside area is great to enjoy a cuppa in the afternoon sun, the courtyard is wonderful and has a Mediterranean feel with a olive tree been the centre piece, the hosts are great, nothing is too much trouble, will definitely stay here in the future, thanks guys 🙂 Leaving!
- Catherine (7/5): Nice cottage in perfect location for the party we went to in flamborough - Good location for what we needed. Cosy, good facilities. Something outside on the wall of the main bedroom was banging in the wind all night. Quite annoying , small curtain in main bedroom needed to be held against the window with something otherwise the light just came straight in .
- Kaye (8/5): Great 2 night stay. - Communication with the hosts was excellent. The beds were very comfy. Clean and tidy. The bathroom could do with an update . Also, could add some oven trays to cook with .
- Gillian (9/5): Lovely cottage perfect for our needs wiuld definitively stay again highly recommend - Felt very homely comfortable & clean great location perfect for our stay. Everything was great we have no complaints
- Karen (9/5): Lovely accommodation - Area and surroundings
Ambience
Ease of booking
Warm
Well equipped Downstairs bathroom
Plenty of room for a king size bed but there was only a double
- Wei (10/5): It was an amazing experience staying at such a lovely house! The landlord is so nice who even gave us a lift to the trai - The property is very beautiful and well-decorated. Facilities are full and easy to use. The location is easy to find with a bus station nearby.
- Judith (7/5): Good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Comfortable cottage, had everything I needed. At a cold time of year, it was really cosy, the heating was super efficient. I think it would be nice in summer to sit outside in the courtyard. Nothing to dislike for me.
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheridan (7/5): Good -
- Abraham (10/5): A really comfortable ,refreshing and invigorating holiday experience - It was an easy to find quiet and very pleasant location
just ideal for our needs
central heating was excellent .
We had opportunity for beautiful cliff walk and seal spotting at Flamborough head on one of the days and pleasant browsing in the shops in Bridlington plus a nice harbour walk the other day.
We did not get to meet the owners but appreciate all they did to give us a much needed break NOTHING THAT I CAN THINK OF
- Hazel (8/5): Very good - Communication was swift.Harvest cottage was located near to our family and was perfect for our visit
- Anthony (5/5): Passable - The location was ideal fantastic garden/grounds When we arrived it looked lovely I thought wow this looks great
But as soon as we opened the front door the smell that hit us was really bad it was pungent like a dead carcas we couldn’t locate what was causing the smell and just put it down to the drains
We then went into town and purchased some plug in air fresheners which helped a bit and the other issue was the beds were not comfy at all we had a really bad nights sleep and were really tired the next day
We really hate doing this review as we have never given a moan one before but for the price paid and what we encountered wasn’t great at all sorry but we’re being honest
- Roofers (10/5): If I could move my family to the cottage i would today - Absolutely everything
We were in search of peace and tranquillity for a few days to recharge at a difficult time and Harvest cottage hit every button !!!!
So simple but elegant and serene Having to leave to go back to manic day to day life
- Tim (10/5): The perfect place to stay for an East coast holiday! - Cosy and in a convenient location. Slight issue with the heating but this was resolved quickly by the owner.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (8/5): A comfortable cottage in a great location - A cute little cottage with 2 bedrooms upstairs and bathroom with shower over bath off the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Kitchen fine for our overnight stay and supply of tea and coffee appreciated. Outside of property very well kept, beautiful flowers and nice outside seating for each cottage. Ideal location for visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs and other sites in the surrounding area. Floor squeaked in double bedroom - hard to move quietly at night and adult son said his single bed was very squeaky when turning over.
A nice to have would be summer weight duvets.
- Sharon (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay- thank you! - Owner very helpful, cottage cosy and in a good location. Nice patio area and clean throughout. Good location for Bridlington Spa gig. Bath very creaky at shower end and some redecoration/ upkeep needed in places (bathroom walls/ paintwork/ tables wobbly/ window difficult to close in lounge due to ivy etc) None of which spoilt our stay and perhaps these things are known about and in hand.
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Especially the 200 year tree. Looked like something from a Harry Potter movie.
- Mandy (8/5): Do not hesitate to book here it's gorgeous. - Beautiful gardens and well kept property. Very friendly host. Just a few leggy spiders 🕷️ in property but with it been semi rural that's expected I suppose.
- Siobhan (10/5): Absolutely fantastic, would definitely recommend. - The cottage was lovely, so peaceful and clean. Really was home from home. The only negative thing I could pick to say about the property was the hand soap was not refilled before our arrival, so we had to go out and buy more but that was minor given how beautiful the cottage was maintained.
- Louise (8/5): Lovely time had by all. Would return - Location was good, only a few minutes drive or walk from the north beach and if you’re feeling fit you can walk into Bridlington or take the land train (recommend this if you have kids). Plenty of parking and generally quiet. Bathroom could do with a refurb as looking a bit tired but was functional.
- Yolanda (10/5): Comfortable well appointed cottage - home from home! - This cottage was perfect for our 5 night stay. The location is very good for visiting the local area. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. Parking is easy and the outside space (garden) is perfect for relaxing/al fresco dining (weather permitting). The Wi-Fi was fast and efficient. Our host was friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. Nothing
- Madeleine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noel (9/5): Pleasurable - Good location. Very comfortable Was expensive for 1 night stay
- Iona (10/5): Excellent house and great location for birdwatching at bempton and Flamborough - It was a bit cold and it took us a while to find out how the heating worked but the owners were very helpful in responding to our query. The bath plug needs replacing as it leaked.
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect, so peaceful relaxing break. Great house and had everything we needed. Lovely touch leaving the tea, coffee and biscuits. Made you feel welcomed. Nothing. Loved it all
- Peter (10/5): Nothing was too much trouble. - Spotlessly clean. Unbelievable how tidy the grounds were.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (10/5): Good location - close to Bridlington and Flamborough but out of town so peaceful. - Peaceful location, the hosts were on hand for any queries We didn't need to use the key box as the hosts greeted us. I wasn't able to use it on our departure which wasn't a problem as the hosts were on hand but it could have been.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): Excellent - Really nice cottage, great location, wish we had stayed longer. It's a tiny point but it would have been good to have an oven dish! Unless I didn't find it..
- Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent in every way. All fantastic
- David (10/5): Fantastic place for short or long breaks - Convenient to Bridlington and family yet in a nice quiet location Everything you could want for a two night stay but would also be perfect for longer breaks. Great communication too with owners. Only complaint was I was too hot first night Nothing
- Shaun (8/5): Really good and much needed. Glad to stay there and would stay there again. Hosts very friendly - Beautiful location The plug in the bath leaks a slowly letting water out of the bath
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant little cottage, facilities excellent for our family and superb location Some of the rooms could of been a little better vaccummed but this is a very minor issue
- Phillipson (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eileen (10/5): Beautiful cottage - The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we could wish for. The beds were very comfortable. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were a nice touch on arrival. The location was ideal for accessing the coastal path, Bridlington & Bempton. The farm shop next door was great for breakfast. Nothing really.
Not a problem for us but the bathroom is on the ground floor. This might not suit people with mobility issues who need to use the bathroom during the night.
- Jason (9/5): Nice relaxing, slightly out of town option - Very peaceful location with easy parking. Good kitchen facilities. Beds could have been slightly more comfy.
