• Mary (9/5): A cozy room in a great location with friendly hosts - a place I’m happy to return to - This is my second time staying here, and once again I had a great experience. The room is cozy and spacious, with a private bathroom and a balcony overlooking a quiet inner courtyard. The location is very convenient - close to the metro, the main bus station, and the train station, as well as within walking distance to the sea and the main pedestrian street. The hosts are friendly and always available, which makes the stay even more comfortable. I would gladly stay here again! -

The location is great - close to the city center, the train station, and supermarkets. The apartment is cozy, quiet, clean, and well-equipped. Everything you need is there, including a fully functional kitchen. Special thanks to Dario for his great restaurant recommendations and support during the stay - it made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place for both short and long stays.

• Thomas (8/5): - No está muy lejos ni del terminal de autobús ni del centro de la ciudad. Se puede usar la cocina y las habitaciones tienen balcones con mesitas y sillas. La decoración es moderna y tiene un aspecto agradable y acogedor. No quiero quejarme porque son cosas pequeñas. Hay que jugar un poco con la llave para entrar a la puerta principal desde la calle, pero hay otras opciones para entrar en caso de problemas.

• Izabela (10/5): Alles super, sollte ich wieder in Catania sein, dieses Quartier wäre mein erster wahl - Zimmer gross, Küche zur Verfügung mit allem was man brauchen kann. Super, wenn da schon Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Kaffee oder Öl gibt, man muss nicht gleich die Sachen kaufen, wo man nur wenig braucht. Dario und Claudia waren stets bemüht behilflich zu sein, bei allen Fragen und Wünschen. Danke! Gut habe empfunden dass es ein versperrtes Tor gibt, man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Es gibt auch einem netten Portier der auch hilft, was er kann. Danke Giovanni für Tasche Aufbewahrung Es war auch ruhig in der Nacht, was nicht standard ist in südlichen Länder. in Summe - alles war so, wie ich es mir bei perfekten Urlaub vorstelle. nicht Der Rede wert. Ich habe keine Probleme gehabt. Dickere Person wird ein Problem beim kleine Dusche haben.

I slept in two rooms, in the room with the green cactus, I was a little cold. The air conditioning only blew cold, everything else was fine. I would stay again, and I would also get to know Dario in person.

• Lars (10/5): Nice room of high standard in central Catania - The room was situated in a modern building quite close to the railway station. There was a supermarket just across the street. The room was very good and everything worked fine. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. I sent my arrival time on WhatsApp and would have appreciated some answer in return. Now I just got check in instructions on Booking.com on the day of arrival.

• Adam (9/5): - Ubytování odpovídalo popisu. Pohodlná postel. Na požádání jsem dostal přikrývku navíc, za což moc děkuji! V listopadu je totiž i na Sicílii někdy zima. :) V pokoji funkční AC. Na chodbě je světlo na čidlo, které se rozsvítí vždy, když se jde do koupelny. Není to nevýhoda, spíše pro úplnost.

• Denise (8/5): Komme gerne wieder - Es war sehr sauber. Dario war äusserst zuvorkommend und ich durfte mein Gepäck direkt bei Ankunft schon in die Wohnung stellen. Er gab mir auch die Schlüssel direkt obwohl ich noch nicht rein konnte weil noch sauber gemacht werden musste. Die Wohnung ist aber sehr hellhörig, Nachts waren aber alle ruhig. Also kein Problem. Das Bett selber ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber war trotzdem wunderbar bequem.

• Anna (10/5): - An absolutely wonderful place for a stay! Not far from both the city centre and the railway station, there’s a caffe in the same building and a grocery store across the street. The apartment is clean and cozy, with big rooms and a kitchen equipped with everything you could need. It really shows that everything was organised with care and utmost attention. Dario is probably the friendliest and the nicest host i’ve ever had as a traveler, he’s always in touch to help you out. Just remarkable 🤩

It was not as close from the city centre as I thought when I booked it and people wrote in the reviews. I came from staying in Palermo like 3 minutes from a central area to Catania where I had to walk for about 25 minutes to the centre what for me was not close. It was a nice place and the staff was friendly, but the water cooker was not working, one girl from the first room was loud (I think that is not the apartments fault), and to me it was too much walking compared to other places and wanting to go out or eat in a central area in the evening without having to walk that much cause it reduces the flexibility and places to visit.

• Jui Jung (10/5): Absolutely recommended!! - The room is spacious and impeccably clean! The shared area is also always very clean. Dario (host) is super responsive to attend to our needs, quick in response, and is so kind to offer us earlier check-in and let us store our luggage after check-out. He gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks! We are very lucky to have friendly and respectful flatmates, who shared the flat together during our stay. The location is perfect—a metro station nearby, lots of bus stations, plenty of street parking; one Conad supermarket just across the street, one deli right downstairs offering delicious home food, one huge supermarket (Penny) close by. The flat is situated in a gated building which made us feel very safe. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe, away from the noise and hustle of city center. Highly recommended! Will definitely stay again if we revisit Catania! Thank you Dario and Claudia! Nothing! We love everything!

I chose this place because it was close to my school, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. It truly felt like home. The apartment was spotless, and the cleaning lady was incredibly hardworking and kind. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed, and I had no trouble using the washing machine. There’s a supermarket just across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. If you’re planning to travel between cities, the bus station is just a 10-minute walk away. The metro station is only a 5-minute walk, and from there, it’s just two stops to the city center — very convenient! Claudia was extremely kind and always responded to my questions immediately. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone without hesitation. Nothing

Very responsive and kind owner, would very highly recommend :) The place was very clean overall but bathroom could have been attended more often as it is shared with other guests. Also a small note on uncomfortable pillows - very firm and super high, unfortunately there were no alternatives. But bed is fantastic and very comfortable.

The kitchen is fully equiped, with coffee capsules at disposal. For me it was personally good because its close to the train and bus stations and helped a lot on my day trips, its also in a walkable distance from the city center (20-25min).

Very safe, so clean, once arrived you'll be offered water and found a bunch of fruits as well. The room was very spacious, having AC. In a nutshell, it exceeds the expectation and very worth it.

• Miroslava (8/5): Very good - The accomodation is close to the city center and also to the cost. The location was just perfect. Room was clean and quite big, Kithcen was well equiped and also bathroom was nice. The matrace of the bed is softer that I am used to sleep on, so I did't not sleep that well there. I got an alergic reaction on my skin from the bed sheets. I got rash on my neck and face. Never happen to me before as my skin is not that sensitive, but I would recommend to change laundry detergent for something les aggressive.

• Ελεαννα (4/5): Disappointing - It was clean when we arrived They never came to clean it during our stay, they gave us 1 toilet paper for 5 days, the soundproof was very poor you could hear people peeing from the other room, the bed was very noisy and the accommodation was at a very bad neighbourhood we were so scared to walk at night that we took a taxi each time.

I did not like Catania but we traveled to Taormina, Syracusa and Noto and it was good that the stations were near. The host helped me a lot and answered all my questions. The room was warm and cosy. There is also well equipped kitchen. What I did not like was the noise coming from the other rooms and also the shared bathroom because it was wet all the time. Also no one was cleaning the rubbish.

Incredible price and less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The owners were nice and kept me well informed. They also went out of their way to let me check in early. The shared bathroom might be an issue if the place is full, but I didn't have that problem during my stay

• Cristina (10/5): Super safe and central shared flat - Dario is super responsive, an amazing host, always willing to help. The flat is a shared flat with 3 rooms in total. There is a shared kitchen with all you need in it. The price quality ration is unbeatable. I would stay there again. The bathroom is a bit dark as it doesn't have an open window.
• Jean-pierre (10/5): very good start for the journey! - Dario was very helpful for my check-in and all along my stay, he was available, answered to my needs and questions quickly! The location was quiet and peaceful in the room! Very affordable price and not far from the places i wanted to go and went! The room had a bottle of water and some little treats, and it was amazing to think about this gesture for the guests when you just arrived, when you re sweating, or feeling hot and tired! It was the only booked place during my stat made the difference with this detail and I appreciated and noticed that! On the other side of the street, there is a supermarket so very convenient to get something! Unfortunately, I wish i could connect with Claudia at some point but it didn't happen! I was thinking that the shower enclosure was pretty tight to get in, if I was bigger and larger I certainly could'nt get in..It takes some times that the hot water to arrive but if you learn to be more patient like me it's all fine after!

• Tamar (8/5): Nice stay but could be better - Overall, it is a nice building and the rooms are spacious. All rooms are kind of designed with a certain Sicilian concept (mine was fichi d'india) and we loved that. It has well-equipped kitchen with all essentials. The only problem was that I had a hard time finding coffee capsules that would go with the coffee machine (coffee capsules were provided only on arrival). Location is a bit far from the center if you are with the kid, otherwise it is pretty manageable, Conad supermarket just in front and super handy. Dario (owner) allowed me to pay after returning to my home country as I had a problem to pay through the link they provided due to security reasons from my bank and I am very thankful for that. The check in was a bit complicated as the locker on the door was broken the day before and they could not fix it on time because it was Ferragosto and nobody was available. So when we arrived I had to search for a person on the street to contact the owner (arriving from the airport, one should not be expected to have internet connection) and they opened the door remotely (they picked up 3rd telephone call). Not a huge problem, but it was a bit stressful for me after a long flight plus having a toddler with me. I think this should be improved. Also, the owners were a bit late to respond. The other downside is, they do not have any space to keep luggage after checkout.

The kitchen was clean and well equipped including a washing machine. The owner provided detailed check in instructions and was extremely responsive through Whatsapp. Location wise, it took me about 25 minutes to walk to the main piazza and only 10 minutes to the train station. Thankyou for a great stay, wish I was still there! Nothing.

• Tobias (10/5): Great room/apartment, 100% recommended - Very clean, comfortable beds, large room with balcony, toilet/shower with outside window, all like in the pictures. Big plus are the outside blinds which make the room completely dark at night. Well equipped kitchen. The location is great for both train/bus terminal as well as the inner city sights (all within 20min walking distance). Great value for money too (45 € per night for the double room). 100% recommended!
• Michał (10/5): Great Place. Go there! - A spacious, absolutely clean and cosy room with a bathroom and a little balcony. You can use a fully equipped kitchen as well. All that located near the center, but in a very quiet area. It takes just 12 minutes on foot to get to the main bus and railway stations. The windows look towards the inner yard, so nothing will interrupt your sleep. On the gruound floor there is a bakery, where you can buy fresh and aromatic bread and by just crossing the street you will find a Conad supermarket. Both the Owners are very friendly, kind and helpful. And the price I paid was really worth the five nights I spent there. Great budget place if you don't look for "the Ritz standards". ;-)
• Kateřina (9/5): Superb - Nice modern apartment with well equipped shared kitchen. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Communication was easy, you can text them anytime on WhatsApp and they answer you quickly. Apartment is quite close to the city center and also to main trainstation. There are many supermarkets around: conad, Penny, COOP, supermercado Deco. Bakery is just next to the apartment building. The street felt safe for me as solo female traveler. Just few small details that could be improved: kitchen - more sharp knifes, maybe a kettle room - hangers on the wall (for your jacket/coat) would be useful, trashcan, window blind doesn't go all the way up so it makes the room quite dark

• Debo (10/5): Comfortable and close to everything - The apartment is really nice, very clean and spacious. Not a speck of dust to be found. The bed was very comfortable. There is a desk in the room, a nice closet. The bathroom was perfect, lots of hot water and excellent pressure. Dario the owner is very nice and personable. He was very helpful with good advice. When I mentioned to him that I am celiac he sent me a list of restaurants where I could eat. I could also use the kitchen, the washing machine. There is a supermarket in front. You can easily walk to the historic center. The walk from the train and bus station is about 20 minutes. 2 blocks away is a very beautiful part of the city. Nothing. It's a perfect place to stay.
