• Gabriela (10/5): - Quiet place not far from Haarlem or the airport. A beautiful lake and forest. The host was great, the breakfast very good homemade and the place was exceptional. All was very good. I would certainly recommend and come again for our next trip to Holland.

• Ana Claudia (9/5): Se siente como casa de los abuelos - El desayuno es muy basto, pensábamos que solo era yogurt con fruta y pan, pero después nos trajeron un huevo delicioso entonces nos llenamos bastante. Se nota el cariño y la dedicación que le ponen a los platillos. Además, al llegar olía delicioso a bizcocho y pancakes, muy hogareño todo. Se siente como estar en casa de los abuelos. El baño es compartido entre 3 habitaciones. Tuvimos unas vecinas que se tardaron muchísimo duchándose y no pudimos usar el baño. No sabíamos si había un baño abajo, solo creo que deberían señalarlo.

• Ellen (1/5): Eén grote afknapper! Niet doen! - Het enige pluspunt was de locatie in verband met Sail Amsterdam... Alles viel tegen. De werkelijkheid was absoluut niet, zoals op de website werd geschetst. Ik snap echt de positieve recensies niet. Je kan het omschrijven als nostalgisch, maar het was gewoon oude meuk. Via een smalle, steile trap met vieze vloerbedekking kom je op een kleine, ouderwetse overloop. De kamer (nr 1) zag eruit en rook als een kringloopwinkel. De kamer was piepklein. De bedden stonden verscholen in een diepe punt, waardoor je via het voeteneinde je bed uit moest kruipen. Dat is voor mij niet te doen. De kamer was rommelig en niet zeker niet schoon. De spinnenwebben hingen aan het meubilair. Daarbij bleek er een gedeelde badkamer en wc (ook zeer gedateerd en in 1 ruimte) te zijn voor 3 kamers. Hoewel het raam openstond, was het bloedheet binnen. De chefkok had een koksbuis aan, morsig en met vlekken. De ontvangst was zeker niet hartelijk. En het afscheid nog veel minder. We konden hier echt niet gaan slapen en zijn daarom na 10 minuten weer vertrokken. Er was geen enkele emotie of empathie voor onze ervaring en vertrek. Met enige moeite kreeg ik nog net de €5,- toeristenbelasting terug. Die moest ik namelijk vooraf betalen. Van de kamer kreeg ik niks terug. €125,00 in de prullenbak.... Ook nog eens een heel hoog bedrag voor zo'n kamer. We zijn vervolgens naar Landgoed Duin en Kruidberg gegaan waar we voor €137,50 een prachtige kamer kregen met uiteraard een eigen badkamer. Villa Zomerdijk is echt een afknapper. Superduur voor een oude, piepkleine en stoffige kringloopkamer met gedeelde badkamer. Niet doen dus!

• Ann-Sophie (10/5): Couldn’t have chosen a better place! - Amazing host! Incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and the interior design was fantastic. Lots of love in the details. Had a great time. Would definitely recommend the place all over again. The breakfast was great as well and the owner went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time!

• Wilco (8/5): Authentiek speciaal verblijf met goed ontbijt - Ja, de kamers zijn gedateerd (of authentiek) en je hebt een gedeelde badkamer maar... Ontvangst is warm en er hangt een fijne sfeer. Ontbijt wordt zeer leuk en lekker voor je klaargemaakt.

• The (10/5): Great place to stay! - If you'd like a stay at a nice place away from the busy city and is full of really cool antiques, this is your place. The owner of the place was quite helpful and friendly. Storing our bikes overnight was sort of a challenge, but we figured it out. It is a safe place so no worries.
