- Dmitrii (9/5): It was a very pleasant stay in a very comfortable apartment. - I really loved the apartment. It's very comfortable, while being on the ground floor, so you don't lift the shutters that often, but maybe it's actually adds to the overall coziness. Really well outfitted, the kitchen especially. Luciana explained everything, despite the language barrier, and I'd say it was one of the best apartments I ever stayed in, especially for this price. I did not have to go to the central part of Bologna often, since I had a business in another part of the town, but if you take the express busses (101/918), you'll get to the train station in 25-35 minutes, and if you have to return late, there's bus 19 that will get you back from the city. San Lazzaro is just an overall pleasant, quiet town, and I'll probably stay there again when I come back. I'd say, the lack of washing machine and vacuum cleaner would be the only things that I would prefer to have. There's a laundromat in San Lazzaro, so it wasn't that big of a deal, especially for a short stay. You can also hear the front gate slamming in the morning, when people go to work, but if you don't sleep with an open window, you wont' hear it. I'm a very cautious sleeper, nothing bothered me much apart from a weird noise that came out around 6 A.M on a Sunday morning and it sounded like a washing machine in basement, but it happened just once.

- Camryn (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were exceptionally lovely! Although they spoke Italian and I spoke English, we were able to work through it. They were accommodating and easily reached should I have needed anything. The location was PERFECT to explore Bologna, with the bus station being a 5 minute walk from the airport train station. There was a bus line that ran right next to this apartment with busses into town every 15 minutes until 1:30am.
The price and location of this place is unmatched. The space itself was also gorgeous, well kept, and very comfortable.
They also left some delicious croissants as a welcoming snack which I adored. It made getting breakfast very easy, which was great for a nervous solo traveler like myself.
- Lara (9/5): Lovely little apartment, very clean and has everything you would need for a long or short stay. - Very clean and decor was lovely. Although far from Bologna Centrale, there are multiple bus stops a few minutes away that will take you straight there for €1-€2. Right by a supermarket and all the neighbours we encountered were friendly. Lovely pizzeria at the end of the street, as well as a cafe bar. Hosts left us some breakfast items and fresh water which was a nice touch. Bathroom was a little small but very clean and a good shower. Kitchen area was lovely and appliances were really easy to use. Hosts were very friendly as well. Apartment is locked and gated all around so we felt extremely safe staying here. Hosts were a little late for key drop off but made it up to us with a bottle of wine to say sorry. You can’t leave the AC on when you are out of the apartment so can be a little warm when you get back. Sofa and bed weren’t the comfiest but we made do. There is a neighbours dog that barked a lot during our stay, however it did not happen during the night so wasn’t a big deal but it was a little annoying.
