- Patrick (1/5): AVOID - Owner/management lies and won't help fix issues - The unit was clean and seemed to be well maintained and the kitchen supplies were good. The internet (and television) did not work for the entire stay. The local management company gave multiple excuses and promises and then basically lied about it to my face. There is no mobile data reception in the unit so unless you plaster yourself to the window, there is no digital connection to the outside world and the staff won't do anything to assist or fix it. Avoid at all costs!

- Kevin (9/5): Stunning location. - Stunning location. Spotlessly clean. All the facilities needed for a long or short stay (five nights in our case). Very comfortable king size bed. Despite being on the 'main road' it was quiet in the apartment. Stinking drain in ensuite. Drainage problem with the shower detracted from a fantastic stay.

- James (8/5): Good value, clean and comfortable. Suited us well. - Plenty of eateries within walking distance, plus a Co-op not far away. The place was very clean and comfortable. The address was confusing, as the numbers go up to 60 from right to left on the main street. Beyond 60 the road name changes. The apartment was actually at the other end of the street, where the numbers go from 62 upwards. Parking is free on the street, but it gets very busy, and I had to park some way away on two occasions. Being on the ground floor there is little privacy unless you keep the curtains drawn. I was disappointed that the aquarium had closed.

Expected to strip bedding and clean down the apartment when not given enough to do this.

- John (8/5): Very good - Great position, very convenient for everything. Being a couple in our 80s we found the shower very difficult to use. We would like to see a handrail fitted in all showers.

- Julia (8/5): Great place to stay in a lovely town. - Excellent location and parking was surprisingly easy and a marvellous fish restaurant was close by.
- Tanya (10/5): Great Location- Basic and Clean - Great location on Main Street. Close to restaurants and Co-Op. The apartment is basic, but clean. Kitchen with cook top and oven. Small fridge but no freezer. No washing machine. Bed was comfortable. There is a TV and sofa and small dining table. Good vase for exploring if you are out most of the day. Parking was never an issue. We parked right outside the apartment for all three nights. Mould on the bathroom ceiling. But I guess that’s unavoidable given the environment

- Elizabeth (6/5): Perfectly good base but expensive for what you get. - Location was ideal. Bedroom is a very good size. Lots of opening windows which was excellent in the unusual hot weather. Apartment lacked basic facilities. Only 1 toilet roll to last all week. No tea, coffee, sugar, milk or oil for cooking. No extra big bags provided. Shower is lacking pressure. Smell from the drains throughout the property. At £150 per night I would have expect more than we got.

- Cathy (7/5): Great location, not quite as expected though. - Location was great, on street parking was free, it did get busy though. Bed comfortable, Freesat TV so lots of channels to chose from. Good shower and bathroom It felt a bit stark, some pictures on walls would have made it far better. There was a lack of dressing table mirror, the wardrobe door was mirrored but was a bit awkward. When we booked, there was a washing machine at the property. When we arrived there was no washing machine. This was a bit of n issue as we had been on the road for 8 days, and had plenty to launder.
- John (7/5): Perfecty located little property. - The property was spotless on arrival and had a well equipped kitchen, a good shower and a fast Internet connection. Heating was very effective.
Fantastic location It was a bit too small. Although the kitchen was well equipped, the storage was fully used to store this equipment. There wasn't anywhere to store the food we'd bought for the week.
Reasonable sized fridge, but no freezer, even a small compartment would have been useful.
- Jennifer (5/5): Poor value - The apartment was reasonably clean and adequate for a short stay if you are going to be out and about all day. Very handy for the ferry, shops and restaurants. Parking was no problem on the street (in June). This basic apartment was very small, dark and in need of fresh air. Some necessities were provided but of poor quality. No shower gel or shampoo for example. It didn’t make me feel as though I wanted to hang around. I had to stop my husband trying to fix things! Outrageous price for this 2* accommodation.

- Tom (7/5): Meh - OK but should be better for the money. - Location was fabulous at the end of the Main road opposite the ferry pier and we always managed to park our vehicle outside. Fundamentals of the kitchen were there and in good order. A large comfortable kingsize bedroom area and a clean ensuite shower/wc. There were many loose fittings that detracted from the quality. The front door handle was loose! Some of the kitchen drawers and cupboards had detached handles, and one of the two kitchen table seats had very loose joints making it wobbly and unstable. Generally, the studio furniture was of poor construction and not designed to last.
The property was very compact, with a combined sofa/tv plus kitchen area directly off the front door. There was nowhere to store boots etc.
No freezer compartment, so no ice production for our water bottles and platypus etc
The TV had no channels programmed, so there was no news for breakfast and no film for an evening beer! Not the end of the world if you are out and about, but still...!
Shower room lacked a simple shelf area for toiletries!
In summary this was slightly disappointing and represented lower value than anticipated. I believe that if you advertise a facility and command a high price, then to justify the money everything available should be in good order, be functional, and work!
- Paul (5/5): Nice location, let down by details - Location is great. Bed was comfortable. Lots of minor points that could have been better plus a couple of more important ones.
Minor: no fridge ice box, no hand wash or hand towel in kitchen, empty salt cellar.
More significant: no washing machine (was listed on details as having one), mould on bathroom ceiling, and in general need of a bit of a refresh/clean.
We stayed at the start of the season so maybe no refurb is imminent.

Linen and towels provided. The parking is atrocious.
We were left a note to strip the bed!!! Didn't we pay for the host to do it.?
Hot water.. what hot water it was tepid in the taps ,had to boil a kettle to wash up.
Pictures showed a washing machine..where was that?
