• Mac (9/5): Balancon Médano offered value for money in terms of price, facilities, location and owner support. - It started on arrival; it's always a great help to be met by the host for key handover and to have various aspects of the apartment and locality explained in person by someone who really knows. The apartment is family owned and used by them at various times throughout the year, so the knowledge is first hand and relevant. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and as we were holidaying with an autistic adult son who likes home cooking - this was an important feature for us. Balancon Médano is well located for shops, restaurants and is only a short walk to beaches on either side of the town. Many of the cafés in the neighbourhood are patronised by locals, so one gets an authentic Canarian people-watching experience. Also, as the owner is an island native, it's nice to know that one is supporting the local economy instead of adding to a corporate's bottom line. There was nothing that we didn't like. We even got a rare Canarian storm - Nuria - passing through one of the days just in case we were missing our North Atlantic weather.

• Tadeáš (9/5): Nice flat, with all you need. Big plus is the garage and the pool. Few minutes walk from beach and town center. - Location, garage, pool, owner, flat is nice warm that is very good in the mornings. All equipments you need is there In the building you can hear every small noises from the neighbours, and as well they can hear you. There is missing any sheet to cover the roof window and make the room perfect dark.

• Kristina (10/5): Great choice for vacation near the ocean, with parking slot in garage - Excellent apartment in EL Medano, suitable for up to 5 people. Large spacious apartment with all needed appliances, big terrace and parking garage. Location is perfect - 3 km from airport, 5 min from the ocean and 10 min walk from super great Playa el Medano. Supermarket and restaurants are close, you can find where to eat easily. The main advantage of this accommodation is the owner, he met us, told us all the information, helped with recommendations for our vacation. We really enjoyed Tenerife and this place! Everything was cool

It was just two of us staying, but a family could stay quite comfortably as there is a second bedroom and plenty of space to relax. The owner greeted us and showed us around and provided extra insight into El Médano, it's beaches and social scene 👍 There is nothing to dislike about the apartment, except having to leave it to come home to the UK!

• Maeve (10/5): excellent - What a Brilliant Place to Stay A lovely, spacious, clean, secure, well kept apartment, which is ideally located within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches - it also has a spacious balcony where you can eat al fresco & relax after wonderful days exploring El Médano - and the Owner is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything needed - washing machine, iron, hairdryer, towels, toilet rolls and even remarkably comfortable beach chairs, which we loved. We really enjoyed staying for our ten day holiday, which went by too quickly - and we are so looking forward to visiting this beautiful place again next year.
