Guest Reviews
- Mark (6/5): Enjoyable stay once the house had warmed up. - Good sized property which became cosy once it had warmed up as it obviously hadn’t been occupied for a while. A quiet location in the countryside. I can imagine it would be a great place to stay in warmer weather with a nice garden looking out over fields. We enjoyed our stay once it warmed up. It’s a shame the heating hadn’t been turned on in advance. Unfortunately when we arrived the house was freezing, which wasn’t helped by the northern gale that was blowing through the sash windows at the time. After contacting the house keeper the owner phoned to do what she could to help from a distance. Once the heating, storage heaters and fires had warmed the house through it was mostly cosy after a day or so.
