Guest Reviews
- Jens (9/5): Wunderschön - Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage. Die Ruhe, die Sauberkeit.
Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.
Einfach perfekt! Eine Butterdose haben wir vermisst.
- Jane (9/5): Lovely location, comfy beds and fabulous cottage - If there was a suggestion, I would recommend having cooking oil and salt and pepper in the cottage
- Elaine (10/5): Long weekend - Beautiful surroundings and everything required for a short break. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need and the welcome basket was also a nice touch.Rooms were comfortable and cosy. Garden was perfectly safe for dogs and thoughtful touches like, dog bed, dog bowls and a towel were provided. Enjoyed a morning cuppa outside watching the horses and pheasants and enjoying the beautiful view. The access road was single track but not an issue as was very quiet.
- Ferguson (10/5): - The whole experience from start to finish, was spotless
- andrew (9/5): A really enjoyable stay -
- Thomas (10/5): Lovely cottage - We could really relax in this lovely cozy cottage surrounded by nature and a very nice garden.
Although it’s in a tiny town it’s beautiful and there are great places to eat (we loved the salmon) furthermore it’s an awesome place for day trips. The house is fully equipped and exceeded our expectations. We felt at home. We totally recommend it.
- Louise (9/5): A relaxing and enjoyable getaway. - The location was wonderful and the property amazing. We had a little trouble lighting the fire but eventually got it going after buy some kindling.
- Julie (9/5): Very peaceful and relaxing stay, would highly recommend - Views were amazing, great enclosed garden for the dogs, very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with everything you needed. Could have left another toilet roll to save running out to the shops but that's just being picky.
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable, warm and cosy, luxurious. Small welcome box with bread, milk, biscuits. N/a
- Scott (9/5): Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. - Very comfortable and with lots of character. Bin liners and oven gloves would have been helpful. Shower was fairly erratic.
- Bill (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was clean and comfortable and situated in the beautiful Scottish hills. It had a well-equipped kitchen diner. Nothing
- Emily (9/5): Amazing stay in a lovely cosy cottage. - Very clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. Furniture and furnishings were lovely, loved the wool throws everywhere. Beds were comfy and warm. Wood burning stove was great, we had it on every evening. Kitchen was well equipped, nothing was missing! Plenty of storage. Location was excellent, loved the sound of the river, excellent cycling routes all around. The feather bedding didn’t suit everyone, we didn’t love the taste of the tap water so bought bottled water to drink. Could have done with some matches for the first night to light the stove. But these were all minor things, we loved the cottage and had a great stay.
- Donna (9/5): Great stay at Kennels cottage with family - Clean, comfortable and great location off the beaten track!. The views are amazing, kitchen dining area is a great family room and also added bonus of the pool table! Loved the cosy sitting room too. Bedrooms are very clean and welcoming. Very helpful hosts with excellent communication.

Such a high standard inside and the pool table was a brilliant bonus! Lovely walks, close enough to town centre (40 min walk), beautiful views and some lovely friendly horses over the garden wall. Garden enclosed so ideal for the dog!
