Guest Reviews
- Ewan (10/5): Gorgeous house, couldn't recommend more. - Absolutely stunning house. I felt genuinely privileged to be able to spend the night in such a beautiful home with such character and charm. Georgia the host was as welcoming and helpful as she could be, and Luna the gorgeous cat gave me the best greeting into the house. The fact my stay came to an end!

- Vicky (8/5): Great host, comfortable & unique space - we'll be back! - Beehive Cottage is absolutely lovely, and Georgia was a fabulous host. The house itself is, as the pictures show, extremely old and full of character - staying there felt like a real treat. Georgia was always quick to respond to any questions, but we also had plenty of space and privacy. The house is surrounded by trees and garden, and despite being in the middle of things, was surprisingly quiet. We felt like we were in the countryside, which we were not!! Luna the cat was a very welcome and friendly addition. As others have mentioned, parking is tight but really not a problem!
- Ruth (10/5): highly recommend 👌 - beautiful cottage, so much character, warm welcome from owner, beautiful friendly cat 🐈 nothing
- Michael (8/5): Would happily stay again. - A great stay. Very friendly couple (and an over-friendly cat! 😂). Perfect for what I needed. And very comfortable. I wish i'd have had more time to spend in the house as it's age and history is fascinating. Location was a bit of a struggle to find, and tight parking. If you have a huge car or struggle with tight parking it's useful to be prepared. Also the bedroom door is very old and there isn't a lock. I was totally fine with this but I expect some people might be a little more wary. It's a niche property for someone who likes history, is happy with cats, doesn't mind low ceilings and tight parking. That's all part of the charm of the place.
- Mike (9/5): Superb - Lovely rustic old house, nice room and very pleasant, friendly hostess. Although not a problem for us, you'd need a car to get anywhere other than the local pub.
- Glenn (9/5): A hidden gem, great place for an overnight stay and very reasonably priced. - Lovely little cottage and a great room with a comfortable 4 poster bed, downstairs has a large living room with a TV with Prime and Netflix. Didn't get to meet the hosts but communication was excellent. The only negative was that there is no lock on the bedroom door, whilst this didn't bother me and I felt perfectly safe and secure during my stay, it may be an issue for some.
- Abhiram (10/5): Exceptional - very ambient place the host there she is soo nice and the cat there
- Sean (4/5): Lovely place, was easy to find and access property, just needs a deep clean. - Period features, good location, spacious interior. Cleanliness not upto standard
- Craig (8/5): Very good - The house was a very pleasant surprise as it is one of , if not the oldest, house in the area. The room I was in still had a lot of original and was very comfortable
- Jillian (10/5): Exceptional - There was a cat. There were all sorts of amazing things about this magnificent house. It was a wonderful experience.
- Steve (10/5): Fab hosts and a real home from home - Fab hosts and a real home from home
Peace and quiet
Great location for NEC Nothing
- Janet (8/5): Thank you for my stay, and Good Luck with your future there. - Georgia was welcoming and helpful
There was a lot of space, it was a quiet location, but convenient for travel onwards. Access was tricky - my extra instructions arrived too late to be helpfu .... The shower wasn't working properly
